I'm an amateur photographer, and I was quite keen on printing some of my pictures as part of our home decoration process. I was pondering over whom to go to as I came across GPP. I got in touch with Yulia, and it has been such a wonderful journey since. Yulia and Edgar have been extremely patient and accommodating throughout, and I can't thank them enough. I am delighted with my prints and even managed to get my hands on a point and shootfilm camera that I'm playing around with now. Yulia has been extremely helpful in helping me understand about the various films and which ones to pick as an amateur. I'll recommend GPP to anyone without any thought, more so if you're amateur photographer like me wanting to learn and explore more. They are so helpful!

For anyone interested in photography, GPP is the go to place to learn, to be inspired and we do amazing printing of photos :)

Excellent resource for photography enthusiasts and professionals. They have courses, they do amazing photo prints and are very helpful and nice people. Oh and they have some very thought provoking exhibitions and talks. Check them out.

Yulia & Edgar and the entire team were super efficient and helpful. They have done magic with my old photos that were damaged. They gave new life to them. They have a scan technology. Also I got many new photos printed. The outcome is fantastic.

Great place to learn photography. Their instructors are very friendly and have lots of experience. They also offer a great service in printing - we got our wedding photos done there, and we were really pleased with the quality of the prints.

Very grateful to have Gulf Photo Plus here keeping the love for film photography alive. It's thanks to GPP that I've discovered the joys of photographing on film and just deepening my appreciation for photography as a whole. Great team too, they organize super engaging community events throughout the year.

I heard about GPP from friends and am so glad I discovered them. If you have any interest in photography, you should check them out. They have amazing workshops; I have taken many free or "cheap" workshops elsewhere but nothing compares to their professionalism and quality of instructors. I took a class with Caleb & Kathleen and they were great!

I shoot film every now and then and they have the best range of film - 35mm & MF.

They have some amazing free events - talks and exhibitions and if you are looking to make friends with fellow photography enthusiasts, definitely look them up.

Fantastic workshops and teachers.

I self-taught myself how to use a camera but decided to take GPP's Level 1 class and I learnt so much more than through Youtube and online. I have taken a bunch of classes at GPP now and will be back for more. The instructors are super friendly and helpful and they are all inspiring professional photographers who know their stuff.

Highly recommend the classes and Alserkal is a cool place to go exploring in your free time!

A not-so-hidden gem of Dubai to satisfy all you photography needs. You can get film, print images, take classes, see exhibitions and I love their slidefests and photo-based discussions. There are a rare institution that speaks to the professional and the novice with the same passion for increasing knowledge and skills.

I got to know about GPP about a year and a half back when I came over to attend a photo exhibition here - and I thought of it as just as a gallery.

However, I got to know then that they do pretty much everything related to photos and films (yes, analog film stock also). I've taken one course on photography and two on post processing / image editing and they have been extremely useful. Last year, I made sure to attend a few free sessions at their yearly Photoweek event as well.

Definitely a place to be when you're in Dubai.

I tried to take a one on one photography course a few months ago. I came to the studio and talked with the receptionist, gave my number and email address. She told me that in a week they will contact me to say if the tutor is available or not. They did not answer when I called them or emailed afterwards. Really irresponsible.

Unprofessional store. I wanted to buy ONA bag, I called to the store twice to confirm the price 389 $. I decided to go there and in the meanwhile the price was changed.Upon arrival, I asked about the price and the seller (Zainab) said that would sell a bag for 389 dollars. I choose the color, I want to pay, and the seller (Zainab) says that 535 dollars. This is a joke. Unprofessional approach to the customer. I do not recommend store !!!

One of my favorite art & culture spaces in Dubai. Always an interesting exhibition on show and I end up spending ages browsing their selection of photobooks. Friendly team and one day I will do one of their photowalks for sure.

I have taken a couple of courses at GPP. Neither me nor my work are the same after taking them.

The amount of knowledge within those quick sessions is huge.

The hub of photography in Dubai. GPP runs excellent courses and events to engage all levels of photographer. I've particularly enjoyed Photo Friday and Slidefest, with engaging presenters across a wide variety of issues and sectors, these are must attend events for anyone interested in photography in the region. Looking forward to future events from the team!

I m so grateful for being part of the GPP community. From attending exhibitions, to participating in workshops and sometimes being given the opportunity to lead some of the unseen trails has cemented me so much in Dubai. I first met the team years ago - in 2014 to organize workshops and experiences around discovering Sharjah- and the alignment and synergy was a wonderful thing. The folks at GPP care so much about the community, the UAE and honing people s skill sets to go out, discover, capture and tell stories. I completed photography 1 and 2 with Caleb and have not looked back. As an aspiring food and street photographer, I feel so empowered knowing that I can produce content independently that comes as close as possible - professionally- to the stories I m trying to tell. Whether you decide to take a workshop, attend a photo walk or an exhibition - just remember that you ll be in the hands of people who have such a depth and understanding towards photography, both critically and passionately.

I didn't think photography counted as an art form before I came to Gulf Photo Plus. Now I have so much respect for the work of professional photographers and am working on developing my own skills (though I've still got a long way to go!). Also, I really love their GPP Photo Week event - awesome exhibitions and workshops!

There s no enough words to describe GPP and the team behind it. If you re a photographer in Dubai this has to be your go-to place whether it s for printing/film equipments or photography classes and workshops.

I attended a workshop at Gulf Photo Plus and it was excellent. The teacher was very good in explaining the technical aspects of photoshooting and I have learnt a lot in such a short time. Definitely recommend this class and they also have other workshops for studio photography, food, fashion.

Used the framing services once and found them very professional! Will use again

Great place for anything photography related in Dubai, including film photography - good stock of films and option to drop off your rolls for developing. They offer lots of photography courses of all levels and also printing services. The shop serves as a small gallery displaying work of mainly local artists which is super cool!

Best photography community in the Middle East. Period!

I took their beginner photography course and loved it! Just right - not too technical but enough to get me started taking better pictures. Great atmosphere and they have fantastic teachers who are friendly and very good at what they do. And they are in Alserkal Avenue so it is a creative environment. Definitely going back for more. And they have excellent photography exhibitions too that are super inspiring and interesting.

Ordered a photo print all the way from New York, and it arrived beautifully! Everything from the quality of the print, to how quickly it arrived, and how well it was packed to ensure it wasn't damaged. I've been dying for a GPP print, and wasn't sure if they shipped internationally, but they do. I'm so excited to hang up my print.

Super place to learn photography! Great atmosphere and a nice location in the arts avenue. Recommended!

One of the most difficult things for a film photographer in the middle east in this day and age is being able to source your film. Before I would need to ship it from halfway around the world thru multiple steps and not mentioning the "other" headaches... "no we don't accept credit cards from the middle east" "we don't ship to Saudi" so on and so forth...

NOW, since discovering Gulf Photo Plus... I don't have to worry about any of that anymore!...

I'm in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, GPP is in the UAE, for all practical purposes, they are just next door! Customer service is friendly and helpful, Even the social media team on IG was quite patient to answer my first contact questions!

The transaction was very smooth, Deliver was as promised. Kudos!

A great place to get large prints made. Of course the Annual photo week is a must. They are well organised and very friendly/helpful staff.

An ABSOLUTE compact loaded information workshop . Teacher was so professional making the complexities of social media sound like a piece of cake.

Can t say enough good things about GPP. They really do cover all things photography and for all ages. Exhibitions, workshops, film developing and more, the team here is incredibly well-informed and super helpful. Highly recommended for enthusiasts from the photo curious to the expert snappers. Oh. And please don t miss their photo walks! You ll be amazed at what you ll discover as they really know the country like the backs of their hands!

I really like what they re doing, the place, the exhibits, the books and my favorite is that they are selling film rolls in a really good price! Because I am really into film photography so that s why is really a great place for me! All in one place!

A place run by enthusiastic individuals who know their stuff. Appreciate the effort they put in organizing events, exhibitions, screenings and even a community flea market. Basically keeping the photo community alive. Also, my go to place for buying and developing/scanning film (through carmencita).

I rarely write reviews and when I do it is either for service that is above and beyond or a really bad experience. Gulf Photo Plus customer service and attention to detail have surpassed my expectations. I highly recommend using their service for any prints you have in mind. I have purchased from them countless times and will continue to do so.
