Good staff, good campus make all staff make give complate co-operate and helpful person in gujarat vidhyapith..and a campus environment is superb and neat and clean campus... excellent experience at this place..

No parking space for visitors.

Sports ground is not properly maintained...

Established by Mahatma Gandhi in 1920. From 1963 onwards it is given status of deemed university. Good and peaceful place.

University run on the philosophy of Gandhian thoughts. Students and staff wear Khadi clothes. Students have to stay in hostel compulsorily for studying. Daily one hour students and staff do spin ratio to make sutar aati from cotton rolls. And the best part the demand of this university's students for placements is very high.

There are lots of things to do for studies and for some mind relaxing they made a badminton room, swimming pool, cricket ground, gymnasium hall, etc.

Fabulous nd Very Peaceful Canteen...!! If you visit or live in Ahmedabad..!! Must visit tjis place..!!

One of the best real Indian institute where real indian culture alive, best place to study well with keeping our Indian tradition. The place where mahatma Gandhi seems still alive. Full greenary campus, silent and decent enviornment. I found the place very very peaceful. Dream place for students and staff too.

In year 2018 i started my PhD in Rural Economics under the supervision on Dr V. Bhavsir. Great learning experience about Respected MK Gandhi and his ideology about rural Economy. Very Few place in India which provide that level of Guidance and experience of Economics.

Gujarat Vidyapith is central university, which was established earlier in 1920 by Mahatma Gandhi. It has an excellent Institute if you want to study Social Work. The college in Vidyapith campus also offers Master degree in Sociology, Economics, History, Journalism etc. Most of the courses here are with residential facility.
