Poor company management. Emergency number not answered. Bad company if you care about the community that your asset resides. Call the emergency number and after 20 min it's a full voicemail box. I just own abutting property and will probably end up in court just to get them to follow the laws. How sad.

This company broke into my family home, ransacked all my personal property, STOLE personal belongings, changed locks, winterized the house and will NOT return phone calls! I have NEVER felt so violated in my life and will continue to fight! This company should be shut down! Everything they did was ILLEGAL!!!!!!
I have been working for Guardian Asset Management for over 2 years now and could not be happier in my position! The company provides a comfortable environment, and takes pride in our vendor relationships. Throughout being here, I have acquired invaluable skills that are utilized even outside of work. They provide seminars for becoming a home-owner, and try at every turn to bring all of their employees together in fun and creative ways! I have held various other positions in high level companies and can honestly say this has been by far this best experience to date.
Terrible company to work for. They take advantage of the people who know what they are doing and expect them to pick up the slack. The reason no one can get any service there is because any good employee eventually leaves.
They asked for $150 for utility turn on for inspection. The date was Sept 2019. I was told after purchase or when things settle I would get my money. Oct no money oh its on its way. Nov went by no money I will check and take to payroll. no money. Dec. went by no money same excuse. Jan. asked for supervisor person said I am supervisor. Called another number and they stated this person not supervisor and we don't have proof you paid $150. I call HUD and many other departments. Received check in Jan. but was a check that was not valid and bank took money out of my account. Don't trust these untrustworthy
They broke into an older family home that has never been owned by bank or had any financing. Changed the locks and will not answer the phone or emails. Pretty unbelievable. Locked us out of our own property. Not sure what they did to the inside. They contacted no one to make sure they had the right property. I m guessing they were looking for someone else s property but who knows. Seems really illegal to me.
Guardian asset management has not refunded my utility deposit for over a month. It is impossible to reach them over the phone - nobody answers. I sent multiple emails to different departments requesting my deposit refunded - still nothing. Please do NOT ever work with this company, they are extremely unprofessional. They don't deserve even 1 star - they basically stole my money.
Guardian Asset Management is holding up the sale of a piece of property. I have called over a week now and literally have called over a hundred times and emailed and sent messages. The phone was answered twice last week, but it was only someone who took my name and number and said someone would call me back. Nothing.
Also, they claimed to have winterized this property in March, but we already paid a plumber to winterize in October. In fact, this company merely put their cards on top of the tape our plumbers put over all the sinks, toilets, etc. And they also decided to remove a piece of pipe so the water could not be turned on, and we found out they turned off the gas to the furnace. We get snow in May here....it was just snowing yesterday. Who turns off the gas to the furnaces when there are still a few months of freezing weather?
They knew this house was on the market and we were in the process of having a buyer. The home inspection could not be completed because of this company s action. Furthermore, we were charged hundreds of dollars for them to winterize, and all they did was remove a pipe and turn off the heat.
Guardian Asset Management owes me money following the closing of my house one month ago. I bought a HUD home that was managed by them and gave a check in the case that I spent utility money, but this was due back to me at my closing. No one will call me back or answer the phone. It has been a month and no resolution. They also winterized the HUD home I purchased before my closing and there were several leaks from burst pipes. Do NOT work with this company! Please! Save yourself the money.
Worst company you could find to handle any sort of asset management. They are hard to get ahold of, no one wants to talk, takes forever and then they charge you for things you have already paid for. Clearly the google rating makes sense.
This company broke into my private property and turned off the water and changed the locks. When I finally got through on the phone (12 hours and 30 phone calls later), they told me they got the address wrong. They were rude, unapologetic, and unhelpful. Would not provide a way to be reimbursed for locksmith and plumber to reverse their error. I wish you could give negative starts but I can't. Please beware of this company.
I've tried to reach this company regarding their property next door to me.They posted their name &number, but vm is full and no one answers. The house next door looks abandoned with high grass, weeds, and probably a possum living in the backyard. The worst. ***Update: the company contacted me from my email and they have addressed the property issues. Rating adjusted.
This company hires recent graduates for their cheap labor. This is only woman owned by a signature women are not given any bit of power here. I started on a team of three, within a few months I was on the team alone, doing the work of three people. I was told I could not be financially compensated for the work load change because I had no industry experience. Some of upper management is verbally abusive. Three women on my team filed a complaint to HR about a male manager who was volatile and unqualified to be in a management position HR took these complaints and did nothing. I had to provide two separate doctor notes to prove why I should be allowed to work remotely during a pandemic, as I live with someone who is high risk. HR made me jump through hoops to get this approval. I ve never been exposed to covid more than before I worked here. Being forced to come into office, I was exposed directly to people who tested positive on three separate occasions. Two of those occasions I was not informed directly that I had been exposed, I simply found out through word of mouth. This company has no moral standard, one of my vendors was still waiting on a check for almost $2k that should have been paid out months prior. We received countless phone calls for home owners who s homes we were not supposed to secure and there is no formal training provided for how to address these issues. Please avoid supporting or working for this place at all costs, I now have actually PTSD at my new job from the things I experienced here.
Horrible they put a number to reach them and you cannot get a hold of anyone my neighbor is in a nursing home and the property is not being taken care of they are the ones who you are suppose to reach if I could give them zero stars I would of they need to be reported to the better business bureau which I think I will contact today after work.
I've been trying to get my client's $150 inspection deposit returned for months now. I just read another review of someone having a similar experience. They were pretty responsive up until closing once I found the right person and their contact email (since they pretty much stopped answering phones during the pandemic). Now in June, I'm still trying to get a deposit back from them from a sale that closed in March! No one is calling me back. I've CC'd several departments on my emails. I've called and the phone rings out with no one ever answering. It's like they've gone out of business. If you have a choice, DO NOT use them.
We've worked for Guardian for 2 yrs and my experience is totally not like the negative reviews we've read. We did $88,000 in 2019 and it's just my husband and I. They pay at the end of every month and their accounting is almost always correct. People complain about cheap work? I negotiate pay before I accept the job. If you agree to a cheap price that would be your fault.
We've worked for many National and Regional companies and Guardian is one of the BEST!
negative stars if I could! If you do property preservation, stay away! It takes a long time to pay! If you complete a job on January 1, you will not get paid until end of February, if you get paid at all. Work orders are rejected for no reason, and best of luck trying to get a hold of someone. They want you to complete work at low pay. I really am hoping they lose the HUD contract. I refuse to work for them.
Received one of their scam notices in our mailbox (we keep our front gate locked), stating our property was determined to be vacant or abandoned and they would be out to change the locks and winterize our home. Our home is neither vacant nor are we behind in our mortgage payments. Not sure what their end game is but it s a really good way to get yourself shot IMO. We have reported them to our local Sherrif s Department as well as to the US Postal Inspection Service. It s really sad that these dirtbags are trying to take advantage of people during these awful times we re all dealing with. Shame on them and anyone who works for them!
