One of the nicer parks in the area with miles of trails. Watch out for ticks!

Beautiful spot!!!! Six different trails ranging between .3 miles up to 5.8 miles. There are benches along the trails and the trails are well kept and clearly marked. Plenty of parking. Clean restrooms. Also picnic areas. Dog friendly!!!!

Great nature paths. Easy walk. Options for short or long, 6+ mile loop.

One of the best beach experience I've had. It's never over crowded and miles of beautiful water and seashells.

Beautifull, place, great for a short walk, or 2 those of us up for a bit more of a hike to the beach , it is most definitely worth it. I Don't recommend bringing your dogs or yourself without tick spray. Believe it or not, I got a tick bite, & it was a Deer tick, people traveling from up North, bring them down on their dogs, unknowingly, they hatch here. & quite alot of cases of lymes disease in Florida or you can get immune disorders such as Iga, Ige, & Igh ...so if you get bitten & you get it out & no signs of a red ring rash/circle around the area. Get to a doctor right away. You needs loads of antibiotics ty pics, & blood tests. If u get lymes disease & it's not treated, it can be fatal eventually. Not trying to panicked you just bathe afterwards & have someone check your scalp & base of your neck . Then check all areas with lymph nodes; such as: underarms, inner thighs, etc. Have fun.

Peaceful, gorgeous, and a great place to hunt for shark's teeth! Parking is three dollars but you can get annual passes for around $50 if you plan to come regularly.

Go find the tree on the Intercoastal next to the beach and put up your eno. Relax and swing in the breeze. Perfect afternoon chill spot.

What a beautiful place to stop and explore! My husband and I were looking to do something new and not to far away from home. So we stumbled upon this by searching Google, and we had an amazing time. The day was just gorgeous and we enjoyed talking to some fishermen and took a 2 mile hike and explored this not known about place. When I asked people if they had ever been there (local people) and they knew nothing about it. We are spreading the news and we hope you enjoy it as much as we did!

What an outstanding place! If you are in the area and enjoy seeing a bit of nature this is a must stop. When we travel we seek out places like this to see wildlife that we cannot see every day. We were not disappointed.

Dec. 2020: pleasant stop along the A1A. Nice short walk, clean restrooms at the end of Guana River Road. No staff on duty at the entrance shack when we visited.
