Logan and Ryan came to perform a 2 day vent cleaning job in our 2 story house. From the moment they arrived, they were professional, friendly and informative. The dryer vent cleaning went well, but unfortunately the news wasn't as good with the major part of the job: the AC/heating vents. The ones in our attic were made out of an obsolete product too fragile for their cleaning system, so they advised against trying to clean them due to the damage that would incur. They explained that the only solution for cleaning would be to replace, but felt that it was in good enough shape that it didn't necessarily need to be done at this time. I was impressed by this; it instilled trust in me that they were both competent and truthful, and not going to take advantage of me. They then moved on to the duct work in our basement, where the news was pretty bad. They found evidence of significant water damage, resulting in rusting out ducts and "growth" that could be dangerous for us to breathe. We have had water issues down there in the past, but hadn't realized that there are some remaining problems. They provided photo documentation of their finds, and laid out an initial plan for addressing the problem, which involves getting a colleague who specializes in this area to come and evaluate, and also told me what other contractors I might want to contact to address groundwater issues, etc. And they performed some disinfecting and other stopgap steps to mitigate the risk in the short term. So while the only cleaning that happened today was in the dryer vent, and while we face a rather involved and potentially expensive repair job, I feel confident about the recommendations made and like I was treated with respect and honesty. It was one of the better interactions I've had with contractors of any kind.

Time Switzer did such a thorough job of analyzing the moisture problem in my crawlspace, and then offered me several good options, including a smart idea for improving system efficiency. Tim seemed very knowledgeable, and explained everything clearly, both verbally and in writing. I especially appreciated being able to see the printed reports because I get more out of written information. I feel confident that GSM will get my crawlspace in good shape.

GSM has a "customer first" approach that is refreshing. Starting from the start, I received a personalize video from the Principle owner of GSM! The message that played on the phone, while on hold was entertaining.Naomi works in the office, she has a pleasant "lets go" way that was felt all the 15 or 20 times a called to reschedule/cancel, sign up for loyalty program, check if they accept checks, ask for address or to make a special request for same technicians to come back. I genuinely felt she wanted to help as much as she can and beyond. Thirdly, I had two awesome technicians, Stoner and Gabriel, that I called and requested to come back and complete the job.The original "collar duct" (installed by others)installed was incorrect. A custom "collar duct" had to be fabricated and installed. Keep in mind there was no additional charge for the custom collar! The technicians had a great sense of workmanship, knowledgeable in their craft and professional. They took pride in the work they performed. They cleaned the area where they worked and gave me a tutorial on how to set and operate the thermostat. Lastly, Nick read my inspections report and preformed his own and formulated a plan with cost of what was needed to have my HVAC system working correctly. I thought the "custom collar" would be cause for a long delay. But Nick was very effective in moving my job to a speedy finish. In whole, my experience with GSM was great!! This team scores a 10 out 10.Its my turn to say thank YOU!!

I have been a customer of their service plan for the last couple of years. GSM stopped in to do the regular heating check up. They arrived within the hour of time expected. The technician was thorough with changing filters and checking systems. When completed the technician explained what was done and provided information on the quality of the system. Plus, provided information on an additional device that may assist with filtering household air to provide better air quality. Did the job as expected and in a timely fashion. The service individuals are are always pleasant and courteous.

From the moment I reached out to this company, until the work was completed, I couldn't have been more pleased! They were professional and patiently answered all of my questions and gave me several choices as to how to accomplish what I needed. They removed and replaced all of my attic insulation, as well as addressed the moisture issue in my crawl space. Tim, who analyzed and appraised the job was phenomenal. Danny and his crew (Sorry, don't know all their names) took every precaution to keep the house clean and have as little impact on us as possible. I have never seen a crew go to so much trouble to take care of our house. They even found some things our builder had cut corners on, and FIXED THEM for us at no additional cost!! I will NEVER use any other company for any services that GSM provides!

Used GSM because they service my parent s house and have done a great job for years. Logan and Ryan were on time, polite and professional. They protected my floors and cleaned up afterwards. Will definitely use their services again.

He was helpful with explaining the work done as well as payment options and the best way to maintain my aging system going forward. All in all, a great experience.

Logan and his team explained their process from start to finish and were professional, courteous, and considerate of property.
