entry is tidy and good care only it was disappointing what is on show you have been looked at within an hour. but do not be crazy about modern art either.

Largely devoted to modern photography and objects such as crockery, with a small room of (otherwise beautiful) paintings. Everyone has his or her preference, but it was not varied. The exhibition about the Rolling Stones was under construction, so the floor in question was closed.

We found the lack of variety disappointing - and the unhealthy welcome at the desk did not help.

The De Ploeg exhibition is worthwhile. In terms of architecture, it remains an incomprehensible and chaotic building for me.

How boring the light was nice thought it was too expensive 15.- per half hour you have seen it a pity.

Beautiful museum with modern interpretation of exhibiting.

I hate to say it, but the museum is perhaps the ugliest building I've seen in my entire life. When part of it was damaged a few years ago in what I presumed was a boating accident, I thought to myself, "Yes! Now maybe they'll refinish the outside!"

However, the inside is truly a marvel. Beautiful exhibits, interesting twists and turns, unexpected glimpses of the canal outside - so many things make visiting this museum a great experience. The exhibits are always, always beautiful, intriguing, lovingly and painstakingly arranged. A real city treasure.

The musuem is a bit small and pricey, but exhibitions are fantastic. Really enjoyed walking around and checking different installations. Tho, how good it is highly depends on the artist that is on the show at the moment.

Been to Unziipped, exhibition about the Stones, is beautifully designed everything is discussed beginning, clothing, music, cover designs and instruments. Very good.

Very interesting museum, especially the current exhibition of Chihuly is fun to see. Furthermore ideal that we (students aged 18 years) could enter for free!

We looked around for more than two hours and enjoyed a great exhibition.
Many beautiful objects nicely connected with old and new things.
Definitely plan a visit to the Groninger museum.
WE live in the neighborhood woon.je farther away is a combination with a city walk or afternoon shopping also fun

Nicely maintained... Some artifacts are exceptionally good... A must visit place in Groningen...

Exhibition about the Rolling Stones was not very big, but what was there was good. The clothes they wore during their various tours and a video screen showing one of their concerts were the main attractions.

Good service from the staff. We were allowed to go outside for a while to extend the parking and then we were allowed to go inside again.

Tip: if you come by car, park it in a parking garage and not near the museum itself. The maximum parking time is 1 hour and after that you have to go outside to extend it.

Modern museum in a unique place in the water with a beautiful exhibition about Rodin and the permanent collection for dessert

One of the best museum i have ever seen. They saved the history there.. portraits of important people, arts and improvement..

We went to Unzipped. At the desk we received a special Unzipped mouth mask. Attention was paid to the maximum number of people per room. Exhibition has been put together with care. A visit to the Groninger Museum was therefore very worthwhile.

Beautiful exhibition of Chihuly at the moment, photos make no problem. And only met friendly support.

Both the permanent collection and the temporary collection are fascinating. Not too big so in 2 hours you have seen everything and you can sit on the terrace that belongs to the museum.

I personally didn't like the exhibition (s) much. But that is a personal taste.
What I found really plus points are the free wardrobe and the free use of the guided tour headsets. The various works were told in a light-hearted manner. Nice to listen to.
Downside I found that (in my eyes) there was not really a line in the exhibitions or that there was a clear explanation. It was really an exhibition. Everything was exhibited without specific explanation. The headset mainly gave the opinions of the storytellers.

I imagine something different when visiting a museum.
There were many children and the acoustics are poor.
Feels like being in a swimming pool.
But that was perhaps due to the Daan Roosegaarde exhibition.

Nice and beautiful architectural museum. With a nice restaurant. It is best to bring 3 hours of sweetness.
