What a garbage company! I used to live at Gateway Park and I moved out and my roommate got a new roommate and I was supposed to be taken off the lease.

Well, long story short these clowns didn t do there job and because of it I was sent to collections for things I didn t do or owe. The collections company is a bunch of foreigners in Florida who also have no clue.

If you want a responsible company go to Greystar.

Fire Ruby at Gateway Park and things could possibly be good again! Shannon who was the old property manager was amazing. Perhaps promote Alanya! Ruby is one of the rudest and incompetent people I have ever dealt with.

I would love to share my experience with you. In hopes that you may never have to experience what I have in last the few weeks. Other than getting my vehicle towed from my complex with a parking pass on it. Having to deal with a 3 third party towing company that uses a cell phone as a way to process out vehicles and not keeping the cell phone charged was just the beginning to a horrible experience. A few days after my vehicle was towed my water heater busted and started leaking. we contacted our emergency mainteience men on 4/25, who basically came out to tell me they couldn't do anything until the next morning on 4/26. I had work early and a 3 year old to take to day care. I was gone until 615pm that night. The mainteince team came and did the install at 8am that next day. ( Griffis Marston Lake never applied for a Permit required by Denver County to do the work.) When I arrived at home my bedroom was flooded with water. Our bedroom shares a wall with the patio where the water heater is located. when i arrived home that night our water wasn't running clear it was yellow and the heat was blowing out cold air. For 2 days I fought with the apartments. Robin the assistant on site manager and Namoni the on site manager took turns telling me that I was basically lying. They sent their men out multiple times to tell me nothing was wrong that the gage on the new water heater was showing it was getting hot water to it. I went into the office to basically force Naomi the complex manager to come to my apartment herself to see for herself that I was not getting heat or clean water. when i arrived at the office a third party company was there to rip up the carpets and clean up the water damage. His associates name was Carlos Rodriguez. He listened to me arguing with Robin pleading and begging them to figure out my problems. He started to ask me questions. I told him everything I knew. He asked if he could see the water heater himself. Carlos used a tool he had that detected heat and confimed it wasnt functing. He also discovered that the copper piping in the bathroom ceiling had a blockage and the copper piping was extremely hot to the touch. He told the maintience man Marc to go get him some supplies. Carlos who had no obligation to the maintenance men or myself decided to drain the copper piping he took two 5 gallon bucks of dirty water out of my bathroom ceiling. He did this until it ran clear. All of this while Namoin the complex manager stood watching. I can tell she was surprised by all this. Carlos then did what he was hired to do and fixed the water damage and install dehumidifiers in our apartment. Even after Carlos proving that my issues were real Namoin didn't even apologize to me there was no humanity in the conservation following that. Carlos however came back after Marc and Naomi left and told me he can guarantee I won't have anymore water or heat issues. I was so thankful for this guy who took the time to listen to me even when I was upset, he not only listened but believed me. That's what ultimately resolved my issues. I asked him for a business card and he gave me one I told him I was going to call his boss and let him know personally how amazing you were. He told me he was the owner. I told him figures you're way too good! He laughed that's when he told me he use to work from your company and he even defended your honor. He told me that Griffis Residental was actually a great company and they really do care. It's extremely hard to believe this statement. When I have faxed emails to your corporate head quarters, called and left messages. With no response and when I did have the pleasure of speaking with Terra Farrester who works at your corporate headquarters she told me she couldn't speak with me because I was too upset and she would call me back in an hour when I calm down, but never did. There is a huge lack of compassion and care in all of your staff members. I do not recommend this apartment company to anyone. The situation we were put in was extremely upsetting and handled horribly.

i have lived here for over 3 years, and through over 6 management due to them being fired for doing nothing. now, we have new owners, and they ARE DOING EVEN LESS. i haven't had hot water in my apartment for two weeks, and me submitting maintenance requests and calling to ask them to fix it is being met with threats and harassment from the staff saying they will evict me. we have message boards for the RESIDENTS to chat, and they have deleted and censored my posts about how i am being treated, they have deleted and ignored every resident about the parking ,the security (there is NONE) and the staff's attitude. i am now looking for a different place to live and speaking with my attorney about the lack of safety in my unit.

Kendra and Robin have both purposely harassed and ignored me to the point now where i have to consider asking my neighbors to use their shower.

As a person with disabilities, you would think that the staff would treat me as an equal, but in fact, Robin laughed at me when i was in the ICU and i have never received an apology from that.

do NOT rent here, do not refer people here, and honestly, don't rent from any of the Griffis properties.

i also need to mention that i have been threatened with eviction if i continue to let people know about how i am treated.

Griffis took over our apartment complex and everything has fallen apart since then. Parking, security, maintenence, you name it. Resident complaints are off the wall!! Office staff refuse to hear our complaints anymore. I've noticed when I post on the COMMUNITY page my posts are DELETED. This is unacceptable. We cannot wait to leave the complex in early July. I will never recommend a Griffis property and I hope to the high heavens I never get stuck with Griffis because they decide to buy my apartment complex. You all have come in and shaken our apartment complex, most are unhappy and most are being pushed out by the ridiculous rental increases. We didn't need new paint on the buildings, landscaping or a new clubhouse, we want a management that is responsive and cares and is focused on keeping residents in their homes rather than upgrading everything and jacking rent up.

UPDATE: The response from management to the above review is inaccurate and doesn't even really address my concerns. My community manager never even attepted to contact me, and obviously they DON'T want to hear my concerns because they keep deleting them on the community page. Thanks for the automated response. My point is proven.

To call them a management company is to misuse the word management. These are crooks, All properties they rent are over priced, All units are in bad condition, Not all have bugs but most, Their management teams at other locations are generally incompetent which is a direct reflection on the company hiring them in the first place. I strongly recommend if you see a building is managed by Griffis you find something else.

I have been working with Griffis Residential for several years on acquisitions and financings. I am incredibly impressed by the professionalism and attention to detail they display in all their investment decisions and operations of their properties. They create a sense of community and place that is hard to replicated. They are truly a top tier firm.

I visited three of their apartment communities in my search for an apartment in the north Denver Metro and they are first rate, well run, clean, well maintained and beautiful communities. The staff is very professional and I will likely be making a decision soon and will likely choose their community Legacy Ridge.

As a designer, it is refreshing and exciting to see how much concern Griffis Residential has for creating updated, beautiful living environments for their resident communities. Whenever I am visiting one of their properties, I hear wonderful feedback from the residents. Proud to work with such a progressive and thoughtful group of people.

My boyfriend and I took a quick trip to Denver this weekend to look at some apartments. The Griffis apartments just so happened to randomly be our first stop and our consultant, Nick M, set the bar high for the rest of the apartments we toured in the area. We loved the Griffis apartments, and hope to be leasing with them soon!

I have been trying to get ahold of someone about charges I have received from Terracina Apartments and have left voicemails and have not received a call back. I have been charged upon move out for carpet replacement due to pet stains from the previous tenants before us. Upon move in to my apartment it was covered in pet fur and pee, they had to come in and have the apartments carpets professionally cleaned after we had all of our stuff moved in, it was a huge hassle! It should have been cleaned prior! Also the dog had chewed up part of the carpet by the kitchen and also the along the kitchen cabinets. Well after they cleaned the carpets you could still smell the cat pee in the hallway of the apartment and they did nothing about it! Now fast forward 15 months later and we have moved out. They have sent us a bill to pay for new carpets due to that cat pee in the hallway and the spot where the dog chewed it up. We DID NOT have pets in the apartment! They re trying to charge us for the previous tenants pet damage.

I have been producing videos for Griffis Residential since early 2014. My work has allowed me to film at several of their properties and provided me with the opportunity to interact with quite a few people throughout the organization. Everyone I have encountered, whether they work in the corporate office or at one of the properties, has been extremely professional, friendly and incredibly knowledgable about their job. They truly believe in and carry out the company motto and work hard to make sure they are providing the absolute best service to each of their residents.
