They sold me a lemon with easily known problems from a supposed Jeep Dealership while assuring me the car was solid and safe. They gave me the wrong Carfax, vehicle was actually in 3 accidents I did not know about, sure I should have done my own research but you should be able to trust an actual dealership to give you the correct information. They showed me the service report which showed they did their full inspection on the vehicle and all the fixes they made. After receiving the purchased vehicle I took it to my mechanic and there was over $5500 in fixes that I had to make immediately. The air conditioning system needed to be completely overhauled, both front and back systems, which they should have known, engine mounts where bad, spark plugs bad, rotors and pads should have been replaced, vehicle was out of alignment, amongst many other issues. This supposed dealership is your typical shady used dealer. BUYER BEWARE!!

Zac Shy was a great salesman, he kept his patience with me and let me test drive quite a few vehicles before I decided on what I wanted. He gave me a lot of options and got to know me as a person so that he could identify my needs and wants in a vehicle. It is always a pleasure doing business locally. Everyone made me feel like I was apart of their family.

A big thanks to Austin, Alex, Hope and Cathy for a great experience. It took a team effort on the dealership end due to unforeseen circumstances. But it was a easy 1st car buying buying experience for my son. Austin was super laid back and we were able to get all of the numbers done before we drove over from Fort Wayne. I recommend dealing with Greve.

My wife and I had a very poor experience at Greve ...

My wife and I had a very poor experience at Greve Chrysler. We were told that both the tires and breaks were replaced at trade in with the vehicle that we purchased one more than one occasion. Once we started driving the vehicle around town we noticed a scrapping noise with the back tires so to investigate our break noise, we took it to our mechanic in town whom we have been doing business with for years. After they looked at our vehicle, they confirmed that our back tires were never replaced and actually need to be replaced in the next few months, and that the back breaks were a complete mess. Apparently when Greve Chrysler replaces breaks, they only replace the brake pads and nothing more. Our mechanic showed us the rotors and they were completely rusted and he couldn t quite understand why someone would put new brake pads on rotors that looked this bad. We had to spend about $300 to get the brakes fixed on the vehicle we were told had just been replaced. I called Greve and spoke with Alex, who may be one of the least helpful and sympathetic manager s I have ever spoken with. When trying to explain our situation, there was little done to understand it from our perspective or our point of view and it instantly became him versus me as if I was trying to get something from him, or trying to get something over on him. I had told him that Mike told us that the breaks and tires were replaced at trade in and when he asked Mike, Mike denied ever telling us that information. Then Alex checked the service records and said that only the back brakes were replaced. I told Alex that I took the car to my mechanic and that the back brakes were never replaced and he responded by saying that I was wrong because the service records indicate that they were and he would not be able to do anything or help me at all. All I was asking Alex to do was replace my brakes that I was told was replaced, and I got so desperate I had to bust out a line I saw on their website that says we will do whatever it takes to ensure you are 100% satisfied with all of our products and services . After bringing up that line on their website, Alex finally attempted to correct the situation and he said that best he could do is look at the car at his shop, no exceptions. We live an hour and a half away and honestly didn t trust them so we bit the bullet and fixed the brakes ourselves. After going to pick up the vehicle after the brakes had been fixed, our mechanic showed us how bad the brakes were and still couldn t understand why any competent mechanic would throw new brake pads on something this bad. Based on my experience I would highly suggest never doing business with Greve Chrysler in Van Wert. They had multiple opportunities to correct their wrong and they refused.

We were in Ohio visiting family from South Carolina when our windshield wiper stopped working. It was a Jeep rental from the Fort Wayne airport and decided to stop by Greve to see if there was anything they could do. Zach Shy was quick to help and quickly had us on our way! We came in close to their closing time and he was still willing to fix the problem (at no charge!). We will be referring other family members who live up here to Greve Automotive!!

The experience was wonderful. I was basically in and out with all of my questions answered. Sometimes you go into car lots and trading in or buying a car takes several hours. That was not the case at Greve. Although, my car salesperson was fairly new on the job, she did a great job at answering my questions or figuring out the questions for me. My interest rate was literally cut in half, and that was one of the major goals going into Greve. They accomplished what I set out to do and I couldn't be more pleased. I am giving this a 3 star rating because of the "detail" job. I had to take my new vehicle home and clean it all over again. Inside and out. It looked like the only area that was "detailed" was the dash and the driver seat, partially. I was not happy at all. Having to go and redo someones job when all I wanted to do was enjoy my brand new vehicle... put a damper on my mood. I didn't even get to enjoy that new car smell. Disappointing to say the least.

Recently, my husband and I began shopping for a Jeep Wrangler and reached out to Greve. I have to say, Mike Butler has been completely dedicated in finding the Jeep that fits our needs. I haven't been impressed with this type of Customer Service in years! We always want to give our small town the business and they have proved why we chose local! If you are looking for great service and the ability to speak your mind without the staff being offended, then go to Greve!!

Basically happy. I lease. He should have shown me more cars. I am trying to get my guts up & ask to lease another Jeep. I LOVED my Jeep! He talked me into a Dodge Journey. It's nice but it's not a JEEP.

2 weeks ago, I purchased my Dream Car at Greve Jeep/Ram. A 2016 Chevrolet Corvette C7. The price was competitive, but the attention to detail, honesty and integrity shown by Eric and Steve - made purchasing the car a pleasure. I drove 2.5 hours from Michigan to buy the car in the pouring rain - but drove home with an ear to ear grin. Buying a used car can be a harrowing experience, but after having the car checked out by Chevrolet, it was perfect as advertised! Can't thank these guys enough!!

Great place to work. I'm very big on transparency and character. This is what I have received from the moment I started to work here. I have had other sales jobs in the past and did not work there long bc of the way I felt about the company. Greve's is a stand up company and I'm proud to say I sell cars from their dealership.

Our family purchased a used truck from Greve. Was assured that it was checked over and mechanically in good shape. The AC went out the first day of driving. Over $500 later, other things are popping up. Not sure if they inspect their vehicles at all. They were nice before the sale then said tough luck after. I would not recommend these guys at all.

We have been looking off and on all year for something to replace my Chevy Traverse. Earlier this year Mason tried talking us into a Chrysler Pacifica and we didn't do it. But now that we decided to look again, I immediately called Mason, told him my requirements and he agreed the best vehicle for us would be a Chrysler Pacifica. Not only was he super knowledgeable about the vehicle and what would best suit us, he went out of his way to bring it to me! He and Alex are amazing!

Great sales and service. Have been a customer for many years and have always been pleased with the dealership. With the many vehicle options available, with the different brands and dealers, honestly the reason we have a Jeep and Ram truck is because Greve has always taken care of us.

Great experience from the moment I contacted them to when I was driving away in my Durango! Zac made everything effortless & ensured I felt comfortable and confident in my purchase. No hidden details or scamming techniques like most dealers; these guys are transparent (in a good way!) We drove 4 hours to get the vehicle and I would drive there again in a heartbeat if it meant having as positive of an experience as I did this time. It's a very small dealership but very much so worth the drive to get there. Thanks again, Zac!

The only good thing I can say about this dealershi...

The only good thing I can say about this dealership is they had the vehicle I wanted. Here is the rest of the story:
* when they brought the truck out to me; tires were low, truck needed to be taken back to shop and filled
* No floor mats, which come with truck, we're provided / or offered
* front driver side tire is badly worn on inside edge
* 4 weeks later; dealership states they don't take care of out of state tags. Over my 35+ years of owning vehicles, I've bought cars from several different states. EVERY dealership has taken care of the tags.

These listed items provide an initial mindset, to a customer, that the dealership does not want or care about after the sale; inevitably hurting outside local area sales.

I personally drove 600+ miles to buy, and trade, for the vehicle I wanted. Additionally; i am working 2,004 miles from my home. Located in San Antonio, Texas. Indicating that a customer, who knows what he wants, will go to immeasurable lengths to purchase a vehicle he desires.

Consider that foreign auto manufacturers make nice cars. but, what sets them apart from the US is that there customer service far exceeds US auto manufacturers sales lots.

Advice; avoid this dealership if your from outside the state.

My wife's old beater finally gave out two days before the first of this July, so it was time to get a newer, more reliable car. We tried a few dealerships around Van Wert, but they refused to work with us on financing a newer- used car. Then my wife contacted Greve and spoke with Zac Shy. Zac took a serious look at the big picture and called my wife right back and told us he would pick us up to drive us to the dealership, since we had no other way of getting there. He showed up in a really nice, 2017 Hyundai Elantra SE and welcomed us to our New car. After arriving at the Greve dealership, Zac and the team really went above and beyond to explain the entire finance-lease process with us, answered all the queations we had, were very friendly; and now we have a really wonderful, newer-used car, with payments that are very agreeable to our fixed-income! Zac was a godsend for us! If you're going to be looking for a new or newer-used vehicle in the near future, you need to call or stop on into Greve and speak with Zac Shy, the get you into a great car the same day guy, and he'll have you driving a great new or newer-used vehicle off the lot the same day!
Thanks so much, Zac Shy!!

Dont understand where all these positive reviews arw coming from. I was ready to buy and Amy Koontz turned me away from this dealership. She was rude and any question I tried to ask where met sarcasm and a generall feeling of irritation. After hearing others stories about wrecked vehicles being sold as new im glad I didn't purchase anything.

I started months ago looking at new cars trying to find the right one for me. I visited several dealers. I finally found the car I was looking for. I found two cars with everything I wanted which was hard because I wanted a certified used Jeep Cherokee deep red with a moon roof and all the option. The first one I found was closer to my house and the second one was at Greve Chrysler Jeep Dodge. I called and talked to both places. The first was hard to get ahold of the sales man or get a return phone call. I had put a request for info in at Greve over the weekend . Their salesman Zach called me first thing Monday morning. He was so helpful. He made sure all my questions were answered. We live two hours away and would be coming late to test drive. He was so knowable and informative on all the features. He had all the paperwork ready . The best car buy experience I have ever had. Also the quickest I ve ever gotten the paper work done . I would recommend the highly Greve Chrysler Jeep Dodge. This is how a good business is ran. Customer friendly and customer based.

Apparently I owe them $70 because they looked at my engine, and I do mean looked. I also let them replace my cam shaft sensor on a different day and upon picking my truck up the dash gave a cam sensor code. I'd recommend going elsewhere.
