Greensville Correctional Center Review

This is the worst prison I have ever visited. I called and left a message for the warden to give me a call back. My love one was sick and it two him 3 1/2 weeks to get to Medical. The staff need to be a little more friendlier to the families visiting these inmates. The inmates are always on lockdown, because the staff don't want to come to work. The inmates have no control of staff not wanting to come to work on holidays, it is not fair to the families that they are not allowed to talk to love ones, because of poor staff. I hate this prison and I will be super glad when my family member is released from this awful place. The staff need to be locked up and treated the way that they treat the inmates.

Tried calling to get procedural info on mail correspondence and was transferred to multiple people and then left on hold and disconnected. Five calls total and the receptionist desk is no longer answering, can't reach anyone and can't leave a message. And none of the people I was passed to were professional but one. Some transferred me without even telling me, I was in mid-thought. I hope they don't treat people like that outside of work.

This is my first time visiting, where do you put your keys at? How is the atmosphere

I have to say I had nice people help me on this long process . it's jail and our family member have put us in the mix with them some people need to have empathy to feel the hurt of some famines because we didn't ask to be in this situation but where trying to be here for the people we live and care about everybody just humble themselves and get along it will be a little better each time .we come so we could get in and see our families with no incidents to them or ourselves . Be Patient Be Humble Be Blessed

Not the best state owned bed and breakfast experience. Foods terrible.

When visiting a loved one...The Officers treat you like YOU are a prisoner. Very rude , Hateful & LAZY!!! Not helpful in any way Had to figure out what to do on my own & from other visitors.

The worst run facility I have ever visited lacking cleanliness bathroom use for separate genders, conduct of employee professionalism and care to visitors they offer use of unkept and serviced vending machines. That's just my opinion.

Worst place ever , officers are rude and very disrespectful .

Ahh.. yea , you see here I m looking for information on how to find the nearest sizzler? And if it s not to much of a burden, is there a dollar general roun her?

If I could give a 0 I would. Staff extremely unprofessional and unorganized.

Worst place in Va. Was there thru many executions and murders on the compound.
