GreenSun helped us out of a difficult situation that another company - go-solar.co.za - put us in an excellent and competent manner. They installed a system for us that could not have been approved, the capacity was too large for the supply line, then we were given no or confusing information about the approval and registration conditions, etc. We then wrote to SolarEdge sales ZA, described our problem and got GREENSUN recommended. Andeon reacted immediately and although the system was already installed, made the registration, made applications for a stronger power supply, activated the internet connection and wired all solar panels properly, these were laid so sloppily that we damaged the cables in a short time had to calculate.

We contracted Greensun here in Cape Town to install a photovoltaic system, in essence ensure our home will be off-grid, together with a 4 unit midlevel air-conditioning system, the total value of the system, close to R500,000.00. In the end, the project was never fully handed over. A snag-list wasn't attended to for over 10months - and the snags at the end remain. Flickering lights all over the house, no solution. And the air-con units kept on leaking water back into the house, causing damage. The contractor, Greensun, simply shrugged their shoulders in the end. And stopped responding all-together. We contracted an outside party to investigate the overall work delivery, and the report is an overall damning report. Sloppy, shoddy work on the air-con units to the point of willful negligence, and the contractor's inability to stand behind its work (and the subcontractors it employed) atrocious. We allowed more than enough time and communications with this company. And we are sorely disappointed. We're happy to answer questions or give further details. But once again, it's just another company happy to pocket monies without providing a proper, finished job - and not willing to respond on numerous requests. Dragging their feet for close to a year, and in the end not responding at all.
