Greenspire

I believe Greenspire is a subcontractor working with SunSystems Solar. STAY AWAY FROM BOTH. I have panels, but these companies never ever answer their phones. Only e-mails, and they take almost 3 months to respond. They pick and choose which questions to answer. Very frustrating. Too much time and money. NOT WORTH THE HASSLE.

David at Greenspire is great to work with. Very responsive, and understanding. I hope we continue our working relationship in the years to come.

Always happy and is not shy to answer your questions. If your in the Ontario area. Look for Aileen she is friendly, knowledgeable and will work hard to help you save money. She is determined to save you money any way she can. Love that.

Rip off artists that will lie, cheat and steal to get you to sign on the dotted line. In fact, some of the 5-star reviews are not from satisfied customers but from upper management themselves. Well, duh, what do you think that person is going to say? "Oh yeah, I make tons of money off the backs of subordinates, so this company sucks". Mission Driven? They don't even say the word "solar" unless the homeowner asks if this is solar, then they field it by saying "Well, Solar is one option". Yeah, Solar is the one option that makes the canvasser and the PF money. If the homeowner doesn't go solar, guess how much the poor canvasser makes? Nothing. It's not rocket science, solar is a good thing but be careful because this company is actually a very dangerous scam known as multi-level marketing. They want you to bring in people and when you move up, you make money on their backs. The problem is that like with all multi-level marketing scams, nearly half the people that work their tails off don't make any sales at all, and we all know what happens to people who make no sales. Plus technology is going to come in the next couple of years that will render the humongous plates obsolete. MIT has a prototype that will absorb the sun in the glass on your windows and doors and turn that into solar energy. How awesome is that? There are panels coming that are 42% effective, but they cost more, and we all know that a company like this won't spend more money on good panels if they can sell you one with 13% efficiency.

Same experience as the other recent reviewers. A person came to my home and said they were going to do an energy audit. I thought great! I was going to schedule one anyway! and made an appointment. But no. No energy audit. He just looked at my bill, wasted 90 minutes of my time, and was pushy about signing a solar loan contract that is not a good deal and would make it very difficult to sell my home in the future. Don t give these people a minute of your time and definitely do not let them into your home.

Greenspire is a great company with great people. From the top down the employees and owners of the company are honest and very helpful in aspects of completing and navigating through a transaction. I would definitely recommend this company.

Sometimes it can be hard to determine who wants to genuinely help and who just wants your money. This company truly cares for their customers and the programs save you thousands of dollars. They sit down and explain everything to you. No hassles, no scams.

Sales person who came to my door was very dishonest. He claimed he worked with my electric company and said nothing about being a solar company. He claimed they wanted to set up an appointment to make sure my house set up correctly with either enough insulation or my windows were the correct windows. He claimed they wanted to have someone come out and check everything for me and if not it would be at no cost to have those things corrected on my house. The day of the appointment all they talked about was solar panels and nothing about the other stuff he said they were trying to make sure of. Very shady company and sales practices. You should definitely look elsewhere for solar if you are looking.

I should've known how incompetent this company is when they showed up on day one and hadn't brought enough product for the installation. I didn't learn. I went through 11 months of nightmares and suffering with this company and at the end of the day I am spending more each month on payments for their solar than I am saving on my electric bill. There are a host of emails and texts confirming their incompetence throughout this process to back up every accusation I could throw their way, but people would get tired of reading and I'd prob run out of characters. Suffice it to say - literally the worst company I have ever dealt with in any capacity in my entire life. Run away fast!

Wow! They sure have some amazing options for my home. Glad I got my inspection. What a big difference from they have made with their technology and program! Thanks GS!
