Great place to spend the day at! They have a museum, planetarium, zoo, aquarium, and a ropes course. The ropes course is an additional cost. You get access to the Greensboro science center when you purchase tickets for the ropes course though. Purchasing tickets for the science center does not give you access to the ropes course. We paid around $20 per person to access the science center only. This is a great place to visit as there's also a great park nearby and carousel. Everyone really enjoyed this place. There are vending machines as well as a kitchen where you can grab some food and even ice cream. Plan to spend all day if you want to do everything. We got there around 1:30 p.m. and ran out of time. They close at 5pm

Been here lots of times. Always does a great job refreshing the content and keeping the kids engaged. Would highly recommend the sky wild ropes course. Went to see the new sections opened and was very well done. Animals, Aquarium, Museum in one. If you go in late October you get to see a preview of the holiday decorations they put up. This is a must do item for any family visit to Greensboro.

My children just adore this place the aquarium and the zoo are always the highlight of our trip there. Masks are required as of right now. There are sanitation stations scattered all throughout the center. The baby hippos are worth the walk to see! Its a plus that kids 2 and under are free!

Such a nice place! All of the exhibits were very well maintained and I was impressed with the enclosures for the animals. We went in the morning as soon as they opened so it wasn't too hot outside and every animal was out! Love that there is also an aquarium and museum. Will definitely be back!

I come here every year. You can definitely spend the whole day here so come when they open. There were lots of new additions this year along with a huge treehouse playground. The carousel is off to the left in front of the building and there's also a county park.

They have added a lot of great stuff. Check it out. Also now have obstacle courses up high in the trees and it just kept going and going. Looked really fun. They still have animals and awesome kid area with activities. A small cafe inside where I had a really great iced mocha latte. I walked through entire place, slowly in about 2 hours and stopped to drink my coffee. If you have small kids may take longer.

I love this place!!! It's like a zoo, aquarium and museum in one. Worth the price. There's lots of places to rest, a restaurant, a gift shop, and it's good for both small kids and older ones. They also seem to take good care of their animals amazingly. Definitely reccomend.

They are a perfect local science center! You can pay about $250 for annual passes (a family of four) comes with a few free tickets for family member/friends and carousel tickets too. They have a small cafe and fair priced gift shop lots to choose from for the kid s. The mix of animals from pets, farm and aquatic makes for a very nice variety! I didn t see any bugs or a butterfly exhibit so I was a bit bummed (or I missed it). They also have a few play areas and indoor and outdoor. Overall there are many enjoyable options at this place for the kids and grown ups!!
There really is so much packed into this little place!

Shop/cafe
Petting zoo
Carousel
Rope course-extra
Play areas
Fossils
Fountain/pond
Mini Show -every hour
Dinosaurs
Wind machines- $2.00
Free parking

Pay extra for a rope course looks fun!
The carousel was under construction at this time, but we can t wait to do that!

I wish the mini water fountains/music show had a splash area for the summer days would be great for the kids. I also felt that there could be something like a sweet treat sold outside, like ice cream snow cone, popcorn etc.

Covid
masks are asked to be worn inside
And some areas are closed because of high touch surfaces!
Like the stingray area
