We went to see Marvel Universe Live. The show was okay for what it was. The parking and directions to get to our seats were really backwards. We were directed to park in the backside of the building and had to walk all the way around to the front side of the building. For whatever reason, will call was not in the same area as the tickets. Our seats were boxed in. I felt like a sardine. There was no arm space for me or my neighbors and there was no leg space.

I go to the Greensboro Coliseum about twice a year for gun shows. Every visit though I leave full irritated that the place is so dimly lit that you really need to bring a small light with you if you would like to close examine anything. I would estimate without use of a meter that the lumens are probably less than half than is required by code if code still applies to city state and government. There are other fixtures there, but they do not have them illuminated. They only use the 2' X 4' fixtures. All the thousands of patrons pay $5.00 per car to park, and $11.00 to get in the door before you see anything. There should be plenty of money to light the place up and still make a gracious profit. For me after considering my drive and the fees, I am out $50.00 from the start. Last time that equated to $50.00 to use the restroom since I made no purchases. The bathrooms were well lit, but I really did not need to inspect or buy anything in there.
Just a reminder I'm a disabled reviewer - this venue gets a lot of big artists, is a great venue generally because of the different spaces. My seats were terrible, but that was partially my fault. But putting ADA seats(just extra chairs lined up) in the back row of a section right in front of the doors where people are going in and out the whole time is not ideal. It is a GIANT maze, even abled people have a hard time getting around. But they do have public wheelchairs if people need them to get to their seats. The staff is very helpful and are happy to help, which you don't always see. - Disabled people deserve better. ADA law requires for disabled people to have a place to sit etc, but they don't require them to be good. This coliseum just puts chairs in the back rows of sections. There should be seats in the front of the sections or a section in between, anything better than what I saw & experienced - My view was blocked when the people in front of me stood and I couldn't. That shouldn't happen. I couldn't even tell online that my seats were way under an overhang, I was extremely claustrophobic.
There was a special event going on at this Coliseum, even though it didn't have enough space and sitting for all the people that attended the graduation.
I've been here several times for basketball games and maybe a handful of times for other events. Very nice system and set up made lots of great memories here.
The show was amazing. The seating is very uncomfortable. Seats are to small and close to each other. I don't like to feel as though I am sitting in someone's lap or they are sitting in mine. It is literally shoulder to shoulder.
The concerts and shows are always amazing. I use to work for the union Local 574 when my grandpa use to run it. Alot of my family are still union members. The show couldn't go on without the hard work back sense people do.
Love this place! Basketball games, wrestling matches, monster truck shows, comedy shows, Disney on ice, the list goes on and on.. Ticketmaster will give you all upcoming events and activities with dates.
Loved going to see the Monster Trucks! The only downfall is we paid ahead for our seating and ran into an issue halfway thru the show before we were able to get our seats
Great spot for ACC basketball. Great place for concerts, special events and tournaments. Concessions are varied but expensive. Parking is expensive but tons of spots.
I have seen the Trans Siberian Orchestra and the Harlem Globetrotters here. For the HG we had seats five rows from the floor which was great to see them up close. As for the TSO we were in the nose bleed seats. You could see the stage still but it looked small. The seats were comfortable and there were many food vendors on the way into the colleseum. This is not a huge colleseum so you will be able to see no matter where your seats are. I will be going back in April to see Alabama in concert with seats two rows from the stage. I can't wait!
My brother and I took my two kids to see the Foo Fighters and we were on the railing for the entire show. The crew was nice and talked to us during break and intervals. They realized that the kids were getting tired (FF played for about 3.5 hours) and brought them a bottle of water. Also, they got picks and set lists from the band and gave them to them. They really helped make the night that much more memorable for my kids. The only downside was the lengthy amount of time to get out of the parking lot, but with the location, I believe they did a pretty good job.
Always a good experience here with all the shows that I have been too. Most recently watched a 5fdp show here and it was amazing. Great seats and and staff is always friendly and very helpful.
Taking pictures in front of the Greensboro Coliseum before taking the grandkids to see the monster trucks. Every seat for the show had great visibility. Everyone was so excited and we had a wonderful time.
The venue was clean and the seats comfortable- The bathrooms were out of toilet paper before the concert started. A bit of an odd setup on the outside, but parking and traffic were much better than I had anticipated.
Enjoy going to the basketball tournament at this venue. Extremely friendly and helpful. My only knock is the parking. Expensive and difficult for older people to walk.
