Green Ray Solar really delivers on its promises. This modular robot makes pool maintenance incredibly easy and affordable. My pool has never looked this clean, which is a huge relief since I have two Great Pyrenees that shed all the time. Before, hair and debris were a constant headache, but after just one day with this plug-and-play system, the water is spotless. It’s a game-changer for keeping my backyard pristine.

Living among lots of trees around the pool, I used to struggle with debris piling up while waiting for repairs to my old auto cover. I decided to switch to a solar-powered alternative, and the results have been excellent. The device operates autonomously, which is a huge convenience. It does occasionally get stuck on steps when the water level is low, but the adjustable legs help prevent that issue. Maintenance is manageable: just clean the bin and give it a scrub weekly. Since there are many trees nearby, the filter bin might need more frequent cleaning during windy spells. The skimmer does a great job removing oils from sunscreen and lotions, and I often add a scum ball to the filter for better performance. Even on long summer days, the solar battery holds a charge well into the night. After four months, this has been a solid investment. I also bought a corded vacuum for the pool floor and sides, letting this skimmer handle the surface. Together, they keep the water crystal clear. Just remember to remove the skimmer while swimming, as the filter contents can spill if water splashes around. Highly recommended if you don’t have an auto cover or rarely use one, though less critical if you always keep your cover on.

I rarely leave reviews, but I had to share my experience with Green Ray Solar. After years of struggling with a 50-year-old in-ground pool and that disappointing built-in skimmer, I’ve tried just about every add-on on the market. I finally found a real solution with the Betta robot skimmer, and it’s completely transformed my routine. What really stands out is that it runs entirely on solar power, moving at a steady, gentle pace that actually covers enough ground to handle the job. Plus, the battery life is solid enough to keep working through the night without missing a beat. The difference in water clarity is night and day. Even when maple trees are dropping those pesky helicopter seeds right onto the water, the skimmer keeps up effortlessly. You really notice how effective it is when you empty the basket and see just how much debris it managed to trap. The build quality is excellent—it’s lightweight enough to lift out easily, and the basket is spacious, making cleanup a breeze. If you’re reading negative reviews, I’d suggest giving it a full 24-hour cycle. That’s when you’ll truly see its potential. It’s lightweight, efficient, and finally keeps the surface crystal clear without constant effort.

Our solar-powered pool cleaner has been an absolute game-changer. Before, we constantly battled debris from surrounding oak and palm trees, making skimming a daily chore. This compact machine handles everything effortlessly, keeping the surface pristine without us lifting a finger. It’s reliable enough that I joke it’s better than my best employees—no sick days or complaints! It runs efficiently even on cloudy days, which is rare in Southern California, and has performed flawlessly since August 2023. If you want a consistently clean pool with minimal effort, this is a must-have.

I was in a tough spot when our underground pool lines leaked right after the concrete was poured, forcing me to run the intake and return lines above ground to accommodate the new waterfall setup. I needed a reliable way to skim the pool since the original skimmer was disconnected. This unit turned out to be the perfect fix, saving me from the expensive hassle of breaking up the concrete. Although it cost a bit more than I had planned, it actually performs better than the built-in skimmer ever did. The solar-powered design works flawlessly; it charges efficiently and keeps running well into the night without ever losing power. It’s been a totally worth it investment for keeping our pool clean under those unexpected circumstances.

I’m incredibly impressed with Green Ray Solar’s service. My order arrived quickly and in pristine condition. It’s a joy to use, especially after my previous four replacements with other brands that failed within two weeks each. Those past issues meant 8 to 12 weeks of downtime, but this new plug-and-play AC panel has been flawless so far. The unit is also remarkably quiet.

Green Ray Solar has completely changed how we handle pool maintenance. Their modular, plug-and-play AC panels make the setup incredibly easy and really cut down on costs. It’s so efficient that I can just set it and forget it. Five stars!

I am genuinely blown away by this purchase; it feels like I’ve been missing out on easy pool maintenance for years. This robotic cleaner has completely eliminated the hassle of constantly checking and cleaning my pool, which is now cleaner than it has ever been. It’s incredibly effective at trapping even the tiniest particles that usually slip right past my skimmer. Because it runs day and night, I rarely see debris sinking to the bottom, which means less vacuuming for me. After two months of use, it has been flawless and has become a staple in my routine. I went ahead and bought the three-year extended warranty just to be safe, though I haven’t had a single issue. I only remove it when I’m swimming or for a quick rinse of the collection basket—it’s super easy to clean with a garden hose, and I can easily go two or three days between cleanings without any problem. The solar power is a real game-changer since I don’t have to deal with cords. On shorter days, the lights might flash red in the morning as it builds up power, and it runs a bit slower until it fully charges, but the efficiency is still impressive. While the price tag might seem high at first, the time and effort I save make it absolutely worth it. My only regret is not buying this sooner!

As a pool owner in Phoenix, dealing with the relentless Arizona sun and leaves from neighboring Silk Oak trees, keeping my irregularly shaped pool clean was a real chore. That changed when I started using the Betta SE 2023. I’m genuinely impressed by its smart navigation; it effortlessly covers the entire surface, including tricky spots like the coved seating and tanning ledge. I love how it proactively backs up and turns at regular intervals to prevent getting stuck, ensuring thorough coverage. The design is incredibly user-friendly, featuring a lightweight body with an easy-grip handle and a large, simple-to-clean skimmer basket. It’s a game-changer for maintaining a pristine oasis.
