Nice place great atmosphere and fantastic food. Just a shame I can't play golf.

Ok course but you're knackered when teeing off very hilly

It was very busy when I was there with 3 funeral wakes taking place at the same time. But there was plenty of room for everyone and bar service was good

Open to non members, there is a restaurant or bar meals available. Quiet most of the time with lovely scenery of the golf course.

The reason for my visit was a wake to say goodbye to our longest serving chorister, who sadly passed away and was cremated on the day of my visit.
The club is a regular place to visit, being next to the crematorium.
The main building appears to cater for most things.

This, for me, was a one-off and shouldn't be taken as the norm!
The food and drink side of things is a credit to the head chef and his staff. The waiting staff are a credit to the restaurant manager - friendly and professional!
Usually, plenty of parking in their private car park, with disability parking outside of the main entrance.
Recommended!

Great course in lovely condition, friendly and accommodating staff.

Had a fantastic evening for our Silver wedding and 70th birthday celebration. Food was excellent and our vegan relative couldn't praise it enough. Said best vegan food he'd had. Attention to detail catering for children as well was superb. Congratulations to Nicola and her staff. And to the Dj who played all my favourite songs. Just sorry poor Nicola had to wait til the early hours because of trouble with the taxis.

Lovely golf course, not too long, avoid after prolonged rain. Great couse in the summer with some lovely holes for all handicaps.

Dropped in as a visitor to play 18 holes. Lovely course, but had to stop after 9 due to it being rather more hilly than Somerset levels. I'd play again but take a buggy.

We just had a wonderful Afternoon Tea my daughter and I were extremely impressed with the quality and quantity of the food. A true homemade feel to it which was very refreshing and enjoyable. Staff as always very efficient and friendly. Look forward to visiting again. Ps we also had our wedding here 2years ago which was phenomenal.

Booked refreshments for 24 people here after my father s funeral. The location is excellent as it s right next door to the crematorium. Excellent service on our initial visit to book it, and on the day itself.

And its a peaceful, comfortable, well-appointed place in which to talk and remember.

Had a great day at Green Meadow. Although the greens were being treated the course was in a good condition. The views and course were excellent. A friendly welcome and pleasant club house offering good quality reasonable priced food. Although quite hilly in places the surrounding scenery made it a very enjoyable day.

Wonderful wedding venue. Photographed a wedding here. Lots of beautiful places outside to take photos. Room was stunning, staff so friendly and helpful. Lots of room for guests during change over from afternoon to evening. Highly recommended.

I have been to the Golf Club for both Weddings and Restaurant meals and i think that it is the best set out Golf Club i have ever been to. The food was really lovely and even tho the club as a whole was extremely busy, I really felt that the staff there couldnt do enough for our table and ensured that we had everything that we required.

I'm not going to say that the venue wasn't nice or the food because it was. However, a lovely family gathering was spoiled by the state on the facilities.

When we arrived I took my daughter to change her nappy in the disabled toilet/baby changing room. There was faeces all over the toilet and the floor. I informed the staff who said they would get someone to clean it straight away. 2 hours later my wife took our daughter to change her and the toilet was still the same. When I approached the staff to complain their answer was (and this is a direct quote) "well it wasn't me that did it".

It was absolutely disgusting. They made us feel like it was our fault. I won't be going back. We were considering having our wedding here but have decided to move it to another venue.

We dine here whenever we visit a friend in Cwmbran. Consistent standard of good honest home cooked fare. Friendly, helpful staff. Possibly the best chips in the area. Value for money. Never hesitate to book here again and again

Very lovely place,good services and testy food. Recomdation: The food needs more variety.

One member off staff on at bar. Waited for ages and wasnt served kept serving people after us. Not amused. Only gave 3 stars as the buffet for the funeral was nice, and the grounds are gorgeous. The deco inside. Is. Old fashioned and dull

Very nice and clean place with a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Have enjoyed many lunchtime meals in the Restaurant. Food is always good and staff are extremely welcoming and efficient . Marie has served us many times and she is very friendly.

Had a great day yesterday, the course was in great condition, (wish my golf game had been) staff friendly, food excellent, pro shop good and generous, top marks all round, thank you very much

Just had afternoon tea and OMG we came away absolutely stuffed.Food very nice staff very pleasant well worth the money, well will be going back.

Very spacious and well maintained venue seems suitable for all occasions. Staff were especially pleasant and accomidating. The bar was a little sparse, though, and the sandwiches left plenty to be desired, but the grounds were beautiful.
I nearly knocked a star off for the food, but everything else was top notch, and you could always self-cater.

Good golf, good food, simple things in life are best.

What a lovely venue. My write up couldn't do it justice. We met up with family members(over 25 of us) for a meal (originally postponed from December due to snow). The waitress service was superb, the 3 course meal (My choice was P Cocktail, Turkey dinner and Sweet trolley) was delicious and all topped off with coffee/tea and mints. Would highly recommend as a venue for a meal. Even though we were in January (with mist and fog) the views out onto the Golf Course were excellent. We will certainly continue to go back. Thankyou

Beautiful place. Staff very friendly. Can't play golf but will happily frequent the 19th hole often..
