You arrested someone for being under the influence of drugs yet they passed every field sobriety test. What a joke!

Springfield is very fortunate to have Sheriff Jim Arnott leading our Sheriff's Department. Most people probably are not aware of Sheriff Arnott's extensive credentials, but they can be found on the Greene County Sheriff's website. Much appreciation to him and his brave Deputies.

Just watched tv show about live arrest. He wasn't resisting arrest. Sheriff was pushing him holding him tight against car while telling him to turn around. He was totally wrong for drug possession but sheriff is power tripping. You wonder why police are losing respect in Green County. Over failing to signal his intention of turning. I see police and sheriff's do that all the time as well as parking in handicap, leaving cars running while eating lunch in buildings and on and on. Practice what you preach. You need to set an example. Yes, I live in Missouri.

Got arrested here years ago, the sherrif was a decent guy and let me have a friend come pick my car up, got downtown and they had PB and jelly sandwiches and gave me two! Only giving 4 stars because bed was too hard. Softer beds and I will get arrested again.

Nearly 2 weeks ago, while scouring the ditch on West EE, my 4 Year old son & I were looking for my wallet that I had accidentally left on the trunk of my car before leaving work at the airport that afternoon. We were approached by Officer Tiller. He immediately took action. Not only did he find my wallet & ALL OF THE CONTENTS that had flown out of it, but also found a slew of gift cards that I didn't even know I had lost! He searched, going out into the street 3 different times, until all my personal belongings were retrieved. What a genuinely caring officer and asset to Greene County. I truly believe God sent him on that route that day to help me. His assistance was monumental in helping me that day and I am SO GRATEFUL!!!

I do appreciate the job of a police officer, and having their lives on the line whether it's Chitown, Peoria, IL,, or Springfield, MO. Thank you again and again for every city, town, and coverage. Peoria, IL is hopeful aways, and in need in deed! Stay safe!!!

I would like to know when the law change for them to walk in your house without knocking and search when you're not even home to give consent without a search warrant and take your cell phone without a search warrant and treat you like and refused somebody's heart medicine when they've got a severely bad heart.

So I'm watching live pd and there k9 dog sucks at tracking a person. The dog is in the same yard as the person hiding under porch and the dumb dog is completely unaware and on the other side of the yard.... greene county I THINK YOU NEED A NEW K9. LMAO

Upon leaving a recent visit to Bass Pro, my son and I stopped to say "hello" to these two deputies who were out ringing the Salvation Army Red Kettle Bells. They went out of their way to be kind and friendly to this newest little "Junior Deputy" by letting him ring the bell, giving him a junior deputy sticker and high fives. My son even gave him a "salute!" What a neat thing when the heroes of our community are also heroes to little kids who happens to already think the world of them! Way to go guys! Thanks for all you do for the community, the big and the small!

On July 19, my rear tire blew out. On one of the hottest days of the year, Officer Winston was kind enough to change the tire for me. He was professional and reassuring, and went above and beyond to help a stranded motorist. I appreciate him and the Greene County Sheriff's department.

Giving one star because something s not sitting right with me

Roughly two weeks ago I was stopped by a Greene county sheriff deputy for a license plate violation. This was a very professional encounter; you can easily see the difference in officer conduct between agencies that are well funded, and have well trained officers and those that do not. If you are like me and research department reviews during a stop you can put your mind at ease with this one.

They keep people on staff that aren't fit for the job. Pretty unsettling, especially in these harrowing times.

Super awesome would give them 5 stars but they need to sign up for Southern Justice!

I was really nervous so I don't recall his name. But he helped me change a tire and even gave me quick advice on a cylinder misfire. Followed me for half mile to make sure I was good, then waved and went on with his business. A true lad, pretty sure he didn't have to do that.

Watching LivePD tonight. The sheriff Jim arnott pulled over a 17 yr old girl who has never had a license, doesn't have a permit, NEVER EVEN APPLIED FOR LICENSE and the the car didn't have a license plate. Old Jimmy boy let's her go without a ticket. I bet she didn't even have insurance.
WHAT DOES THIS TELL THE GIRL? It tells her she doesn't have to obey the law.
I just paid $192 for 6 months of car insurance. $26 of that is for UNINSURED MOTORIST. That comes out of MY POCKET to pay for I insurance because this girl doesn't have insurance.

This office is a perfect example on why crime is so underreported - you d think being on camera would encourage better behavior from this department. It seems they couldn t care less about protecting, and serve? Serve who?

A woman named Erica Russell was harassed and abused by correctional officers of this facilities. They stripped her of her pants and made her urinate in a drain in front of male inmates without telling her why she was being held. This is an abomination of our criminal justice system and I will not stop contacting this institution until justice is served.

I dare one person to ask what does the gold fringe on edges of the Flag represent?
Ask the judge.......hint:

Everytime I have encountered a Greene County Deputy they have always been 100% professional. I worked for this agency many years ago and Sheriff Arnott has done an excellent job at running the Department.

I don't want to even imagine the immoral wasteland Springfield would become if it weren't for our community protectors. These men and women keep the baddies at bay, but they're more than that: they are active members of the community outside of the uniform. If you're an outstanding citizen, you'll love these folks.

Thank God for Law Enforcement particularly the Greene County Sheriff's Department. Praying for God's protection for each one and their families. I appreciate all you folks do because without Godly Law Enforcement there would be chaos for sure.

Jan 9th was our 50 wedding anniversary and on the way home from a evening of a show and dinner afterward, we obtained a flat tire on the James River Expressway. We didn't realize that we were without a wrench and unable for my husband to change the tire. A Greene County Sheriff came along and with his help and the help of some other officers, they were able to change our tire for us.
I don't know what we would have done if they hadn't came to our aid, plus it was very cold out and late. Thanks again guys for your help and be safe.

I was researching this department after seeing them on TV, I find it funny that the hand full of people complaining and leave stupid reviews all seem to have broken the law. Or had LE interaction for obviously being a scum bag, don't break the law and they wont bother you.

My wife and I were having a fight and admitadly loud. I live across the street from " sheriff Dan" whom gave no id after telling my wife he had to enter the house off duty at which he did. He had called what was 3 other officers for a domestic disturbance which seems a bit much. Perhaps I'm wrong but I don't think an off duty officer can enter a house (plain clothed) and not show some form of id.

I support Greene county and most Springfield law enforcement,

I was booking release 5 hours the big black jailer was rude mean and constantly popping food in his mouth must have been afraid I was going to take some from him. I'm sure at the rate he needs he won't be around much longer he will eat his self into Oblivion.

Not my worst jail experience but not my best. They made me sit in the car with the AC turned all the way up and I was wearing a very short skirt, I nearly froze to death! After hours of waiting they finally took me to jail. It was literally like going into a mad house! Nothing but a bunch of drunk people. They had all celebrated Cinco de drinko a little too much. I also remember it being very cold in there and they didn t even give me a blanket. They also didn t let me retake my mug shot picture, very rude! Anyways finally at 7-8 am they released me. Overall I think I would rate my stay a very cold one. Nearly got hypothermia. But other than that the staff was very friendly. I would definitely recommend staying here just wear warm clothing. Hope this review influences you when making your bad decisions.

The police there are a-holes they didn't help my case AT ALL... they arrested my boyfriend and took me away....

Greene County SD is by far one of the greatest and most Just law enforcement departments around. These people are good hard working Americans and I'm proud that they protect our community.
