Awesome place. First time visiting and the staff was amazing!!!

I was blown away by their selection! The staff were knowledgeable of every product in the store and true fans of their own product. They gave excellent service and the store was like a dang walmart for hunters.

Great place for all your outdoor needs. Awesome service and very helpful staff! Bought a safe about two weeks ago and got a great deal on it.

Huge selection of firearms from which to choose and safes to put them in and ammo to load them with and everything else. Prices are competitive or better and plenty of knowledgeable service folks.

Helpful staff very knowledgeable about their inventory and about firearms in general couldn't ask for a better place to shop for these items

Employees are always very helpful and friendly, been coming here with my dad since I started walking. Blows the big box stores out of the water, and they always have awesome events going on!

I attempted to order an archery product over the phone with little to no success. The employee claimed he to my order and stated that it should be at the store in a couple of weeks. I called back a week and a half later and I was told the order was never placed because they couldn t get ahold of the manufacturer. They are an authorized dealer for hoyt, and I find it difficult to believe that they were unable to contact the manufacturer in a week and a half s time frame. They also wouldn t take my information or payment leading me to think that they just weren t going to do it anyway. Disappointing to say the least.

My new favorite store. Went in to look for a Filson Jacket for my wife. Although they didn't carry a (Filson) line for women, they had a pretty extensive Mens line. The salesman that helped me walked me directly to all the things I wanted to look at. He was very sincere, helpful and knowledgeable - at no time did I feel like I was wasting his time or that he was trying to pressure me. Much different than my experiences in Gander Mountian and Dick's and a host of others. Found out that they professionally sharpen knives for $3. I thought prices were good. Although the jacket was what brought me in there I couldn't leave without gettting a couple of things I've always wanted. I'll be back.

Great selection of firearms. I had never even heard of American Defense, out of Wisconsin, and ended up buying two of their ARs at Green Top, one 9mm and one 5.56mm, because they include lots of great features and were being sold at a generous discount. A smaller gun store wouldn't have that same level of selection as Green Top.

In addition, they have armorers on-hand to help customize your purchase with lights, grips and optics.

Finally, with Winding Brook Indoor Range right down the road from Green Top, you can "buy and try" on the same day.

Great Fishing supply collection, also should be able to handle most weapon needs.

SO IMPRESSED with this place. Great selection, easy in and out location, near one of those BIG chain outdoor stores. The customer service was AMAZING! These guys are the real deal. Their prices are competitive but their attention to detail and going above and beyond with customer service sets them miles apart from the rest. Great experience!

We came during a big expo. They had lots of vendors and tons of stuff to do and look at. I even picked up a birthday present for myself! The prices are a little high on a lot of things, but they have a nice inventory and really decent sales.

I have been dealing with the Hopkins guys and their staff since 1984, these guys are great and they still offer the same small town customer service that they always have. I have never left GT with a bad feeling or with an unanswered question. I am now looking at a new Sig .357 pistol and I know where I am going to buy it. After all you wouldn't go to a restaurant for surgery so why would you go to a retail department store to buy a firearm from a person that knows more about cooking fast food than the weapon he is selling. Greentop has everything the other stores have without the $BIG$ overhead.

They were crowded. They had enough Lil Gun propellant for me and a few left. Nothing of anything else I needed. Good for them, bad for me. So I picked up some 243 bullets, triple 7 pellets, and some .22 WRM. I'm good. Great place. I stop there as often as I can. Great place with great people.

Probably the largest locally-owned gun/hunting store in the area. Staff very nice and knowledgeable, real ppl, doing all their best to help out. Good selection of new and used guns. Didn't use them for FFL transfer so I cannot speak of that.

Very low on ammo prices at Bass Pro were cheaper and larger selection

They had the firearm that I wanted & didn't hesitate to help me as well as give me some knowledge about it.

Bought some backing for a 5 wt fly reel and the backing they sold me couldnt even fill a 1 wt. For $15 I expect better.

Went to purchase a new handgun and was called a lier and the young sales person was so rude that I left and have and never been back!!

I've been here several times, usually because I have to purchase gift certificates for Christmas or birthdays. They seem to only want to wait on men. Nearly every time I've been there, I've stood at the counter to purchase the certificates only to be passed over for the male customer beside me. The plus side to this is that while standing there waiting, I've noticed that they sell USED handguns for a higher price than Bass Pro's NEW handguns. Guess where I shop now.

As ALWAYS -- Green Top's selection and service was FANTASTIC!!! For anything hunting and fishing related - you are hurting yourself if you do not shop there. And, for Marine electronics, THERE IS NO WHERE ELSE.

Great selection of all things hunting and fishing. Stop there on the way to a Turkey hunt in North Carolina and it was worth it.

Huge selection of firearms, the biggest I have ever seen. However the prices are a little high for some things, but if you spend some time there you'll find some good deals. Customer Service is good and can be a bit better, it's a lot better than the cabelas down the road
