Words cannot express how amazing this experience was. Professional, courteous and clean. Gloria was outstanding as a masseuse. She communicated with great detail, gave me pointers on how to treat my back pain and more. This is literally one of, if not, the greatest massages I've received. I'll be back and will be buying a package. What a gem this place is.

I went for a Thai foot massage..Sweet guy but had no clue..first tried to open curtains which promptly fell off the wall.. then began the most gentle foot rub I had ever experienced. Barely felt it..asked him repeatedly if he would use more pressure...no hot towels, no music until 20 minutes in .Very little lotion .It was a waste of time, and although it wasn't expensive, also a waste of money.

Well I went yesterday for a massage the ladies at the front were really nice but the problem was that I got 2 vouchers as a Christmas present and they will NOT accept the second one I think they should specify restrictions on Groupon now I. Have to tell my friend to cancel it and who knows if she is gonna be able to do so .. I think money lost ..

I was very hesitant about going here because of past reviews. I purchased a Groupon and held on to it for years. I finally decided to go and I'm glad I did. The young lady that answered the phone was polite. I explained that my Groupon was expired and she told me that the amount that was still usable, which is Groupon's policy. When I arrived, I had a male masseuse which made me nervous, but Josh was professional and very attentive. I had a deep tissue massage and my body was sore, but a good sore! The only thing that bothered me was the music but I can't fault him because I didn't mention it to him. I don't know what all the bad hype was about. I was very happy with my massage and the service. I will definitely be returning and recommending.

(This is my original review copied from yelp. I posted right after the injury and then followed up a year later, below)
BEWARE!!! I'm actually giving zero stars. The reason I am writing this review is that I have been literally SERIOUSLY INJURED as a result of one of the movements/stretches that the therapist performed on me. ALEJANDRO LITERALLY DESTROYED THE LIGAMENTS AND TENDONS IN MY WRIST. I initially tried to contact the business and could not speak to anyone. I have not bothered to contact the business owner or try again because as we all know, any business like that will make you sign a document that will always protect the business. What usually happens in a situation like this, is the owner will apologize and offer you free services. An apology will NOT heal my wrist and I do not want to receive any additional services after an experience like this, thanks. I am writing this review to prevent anyone else from possibly getting injured by this therapist (Alejandro, Latin man, late 30's/early 40's).

Upon walking in, the office is inviting with a warm energy. There was a nice 'hippy-dippy' type of fragrant aroma, but it was a bit too strong for my liking. The place looks very clean and massage room was as expected. The therapist did not ask if there's anything I'd like him to concentrate on or areas I'd like him to avoid, etc. The massage itself was pretty good, though the therapist seemed distracted, not 'present'. Was it the best I've ever had? No, but it was pretty decent outside of being injured.

He did the usual routine, as most of them follow. Here's how the injury happened. While I was lying on my back, he stretched my right arm over my head. Then, he moved the arm so that it was perpendicular to my body and stretched it from there. He gripped my wrist too tightly, held the arm now at an upwards angle from my body and pulled way too hard. I heard and felt a pop in my wrist. It was louder and more jarring than the sound made when one cracks their knuckles. It hurt, but didn't continue to hurt right at that moment. It was the hours and days that followed when I realized "this guy actually injured me!", as the pain went from pretty bad to much worse. You can see in the pictures, it is glaringly obvious the difference in protruding wrist bones. The right one is HUGE compared to my left wrist bone.

The pain level, within the 1st week after, on scale of 1 to 10, when trying to do ANY angled or side to side movement would be a 7 or 8. With no movement, 3 or 4 at rest. When trying to use my right hand, I've been unable to brush teeth, hold a plate of food, twist open any jar, make up the bed, or any similar basic movement without pain, actual pain, not just discomfort. Also, pain when using a mouse (affecting work day ALL day!!!). Turning a doorknob or twisting a key in a lock is still not possible.

It's been REALLY bad. I know it was not intentional, but that guy truly injured me. If I had not received this injury from the therapist, I would have given 3 stars.
FOLLOW UP, ONE YEAR AFTER:
It has been over one year since the injury. ALEJANDRO LITERALLY DESTROYED THE LIGAMENTS AND TENDONS IN MY WRIST, ACCORDING TO 2 DOCTORS . I have had specialized therapy procedures 4 times so far and there has been some improvement, but I will definitely have to have at least 4 more treatments to feel a significant difference. The wrist STILL hurts way too often. Specialized therapy is not cheap and I have this additional expense and have been injured for life because of this careless therapist that used WAY too much force and improper form. HORRIBLE!!!!

The only reason I went in the first place is because I found it on Groupon and bought the discounted massage. Don't go here, it's not a SPA! It's a massage room within an office. NO SPA FEELING or anything for a woman to feel comfortable going. Visit Massage Envy instead.

I have been receiving massages from Lauren for some time now. She is very thoughtful and extremely intuitive. She is highly professional and very friendly. Definitely sticking with her. Unfortunately I can't comment on other massage therapists as I have only used Lauren.
