I worked here for 3 months and got fired. I wasn't the best employee, but I would like to mention a few things that I experienced here:
I didn't get a warning whatsoever before getting fired. In fact, my manager said I was "killing it". Maybe I misunderstood that phrase. After all, I'm mildly autistic.
One of the managers was known as one of the "ten most successful women in the real estate industry". I never interacted with her, but I will never forget the time when she screamed at one of my coworkers, in front of everybody in the office, for making an error in an AP report. The man she screamed at was a family man, and an ex marine who served in Iraq.
One more thing: while working there, I had no idea what is it the company actually did to make money. I know they're in real estate, but... What do they do? Do they sell houses? Buy houses? I have no idea. Oh well... Maybe that's why they fired me.
I'd also like to apologize for checking the receptionist out. You had a cleavage, and it was very distracting. You can't blame me for just looking, I'm not a f*****g robot.
FAMILY!!! - That's who my mother and me felt like we were speaking to when talking to David Rogove and John Audia, of Green River Capital. After losing her husband of 50+ years my mother was at wit's end as to how she was going to continue to reside in the house she shared with my father for so long. Then we thought reverse mortgage, and contacted a local broker who did absolutely nothing for her. I live in Woodbridge, VA, 300 miles away from my mother who lives in Brooklyn, NY. I couldn't be there to guide and assist her through this process, and that's where David and John come in. After my mother contacted them they were sitting at her kitchen table within 48 hours, discussing the process with her. They were truly a Godsend. They communicated, with her every step of the way and stayed in touch with me as well to assure we understood the entire process all the way through closing. I would STRONGLY recommend Green River Capital to anyone looking to obtain a mortgage. So much so that I'm making a special trip to New York so we can all go to lunch together. Because that's what you do with family. . . you break bread!
I had the pleasure to work with Cheryl. She needs to get quit her job ASAP. She s uneducated and does not know how to handle her self.
Avoid working with this band of thieves! This bunch of clueless morons know nothing of real estate and are perfectly willing to break the law and rob you!
If you are a Real Estate agent, avoid working with this bunch of larcenous bastards at all cost. They will rip you off!
David and his team were fantastic to work with through the entire process. David provided guidance and recommendations that I would not have considered without his involvement. I would highly recommend David for anyone purchasing a first time home or is a seasoned buyer.
When it comes to servicing distressed real estate, Green River Capital has streamlined the process.
As a Realtor, this was the absolute worst company I have ever handled a property for. Huge lack of communication, they dropped the ball on so many different occasions! Never again...
