UPDATE 11/10/2020: They credited us back the wrongful charge.
One of our friends recommended them to us and we hired them to take care of our yard. They are very expensive for what you get in return, but that's not why I'm leaving them a 1 star review. We sold our house in September and I called to cancel the service. I believe the person I spoke to was the owner. He said no problem and was even supposed to come to our new house and give us a quote. Never heard back from him, but a few weeks later I got a call from one of the technicians he was at the house and there was a sold sign in the yard. I told him the house was sold and I spoke to the owner. He told me he would speak to the owner and also come give me a quote at our new house. Never heard from either one, but they decided to charge us $160 for the month of October, when we cancelled in September and didn't even own the house in October. I've now left several messages for them to credit us back the $160 and make sure we are removed from their system. They won't call me back. Very unprofessional. Don't hire them - they are a disaster!
Called to reslove an issue with one of their guys touch my sprinkler system control box to improve irrigation that caused my system to cycle for 4 hours in a loop. And caused my bill to be extremely high. No one seems to care at this company.

It official they don t care about their customers, and the manger owner or whoever Curtis is does not care about handling any mishap or misunderstanding with his customers. I can see why their rating keep going down. Because they just don t care. Avoid at all cost!!!!
That old saying "the grass isn't always greener on the other side" must've been looking at a lawn not kept up by Greenlife. It's simple, the results speak for itself. Happy customer here.

Sales guy agreed to spray inside for free to get my business. Asked for them to spray inside and the rep tells me he will in his next service call a month away. The rep Stovall is dishonest and I trust him less than the kids I coach and teach. Back to a real lawn service who doesn t lie and can actually hold up their word. What a joke.
People stop by frequently to ask who my lawn service is and I tell them. Thanks Green life for taking care of my lawn treatments and helping me meet my neighbors.

I have a New Model home with St Augustine grass. I use this company for three years and things was great but then my grass started dying and I had to keep calling the owner curtis for the problem. Now when I hire greenlife he assure me that if I had any problems with my grass Dying. He would be Responsible for fixing or replacing the problem. Since then I've been told ever problem with my grass dying was never his doing. I done had two sprinklers company that he referred me to and paid over $750 to replace and raise my sprinklers heads.... Grass still was dying but it was never nothing that he was doing. I done talk to three other Neighbors that had service with this company also had the same problems... So I cancel them and ask for a refund Owner Curtis said that I would receive a refund but never did.... Beware dont use
Kyle Kimmel the manager of the Route is very professional and responsible. He treated my lawn for weeds such as sedge, crabgrass and broad leaf. They also did insect control, liquid fertilizer along with soluble potash for helping build strong roots. I really recommended for you re lawn care .
Wow..... Reading the negative reviews blows my mind. Always remember there is two sides to every story! I have had nothing but Professional, great customer service, and now a beautiful yard!! As a matter of fact I ve had two neighbors switch to them and just as happy!! Go ahead and try them out you won t regret it!!

Green Life has dramatically improved health of my lawn over the course of a few months. St. Augustine turf is now thriving and filling bare spots which offered little hope previously. To my surprise, Green Life's service technician takes the time to discuss suggestions for care of my lawn and ornamental shrubs rather than leave an obscure note at my door. He listens to my concerns and we jointly agree to a plan for ongoing maintenance.
Terrible communication. Do NOT hire if you have any dogs/children.
One of the big selling points behind this company was that they told us they would call in advance (usually the day before) to let us know what day they would be spraying our property. They do not spray on the same day every month, so this was important information to us. After being with them for several years now, I can honestly say about 95% of the time - they do NOT bother calling. I have called numerous times asking them to please make sure they give us a heads up, and they continue to disappoint us. They also very rarely bother answering the phone. I am tired of being inconvenienced by this company every single month and will be looking elsewhere in the future.

I used another company for a year-and-a-half because they said they would keep on coming back until they got it right which they never did, weeds, brown spots, shrubs dying, etc. Then I got referred to Curtis at Green Life and within 4 months they got my yard absolutely perfect and my front shrubs which I had planned on digging up thinking they were too old, they got them better than I've seen in 20 years. I've already had two neighbors asking for their numbers.
We have been using Green Life for 5 years now, and our experience with them has been great. They do great work at a reasonable price. They are always on time. Call the day before they come, and leave a notice informing us what they did. They also give us pointers to help keep our lawn looking great, which it does. Will continue using them.
Curtis was referred to me through another lawn care company (who couldn't come out due to down equipment). Curtis contacted me and came out to meet with me and took on the job with no problem. He was very polite and professional. I can't wait to see the results of my lawn soon.
NOW I see why their BBB rating is an F. Yes, you read that correctly, an F....Irony, I just read Ricks review and the absolute SAME thing happened to us. Green life killed a 4x4 square patch of our yard, it literally died 2 days after they fertilized it. When I asked why it died 2 days after they said "cinch bugs"..Really? a perfect 4x4 square of cinch bugs? Not the same spot where the guy took a phone call while fertilizing the lawn. Even worse we had sold the home so we spent 160$ replacing the spot for the new buyers. NOW, 2 years later we have a bill for 45$ from a collection agency. WHAT??? We didn't even own the home when the supposed service was offered. NEVER received a bill, I have EVERY payment and the service cancellation email confirmation. I do not have a recommendation for another lawn company but I am pretty sure ANY lawn company is better than this one.
Green Life has been taking care of our lawn for over a year with great results. Our lawn always looks great and we always get compliments from our neighbors. They're responsive and helpful. I highly recommend for any lawn needs in Lakeland.

This is a terrible company. I had a small area of dead grass which they told me was from lack of water. After getting sprinklers fixed and watering area nightly the dead area grew to half of my lawn. Clearly a fungus or bug eating my yard. When confronting Curtis, I was told they would not be fixing my yard and they dropped my service. Very unprofessional and extremely difficult to get in touch with. Do not use this company.

Green Life serviced my yard for over a year. I started noticing areas in the lawn getting bad and asked what was causing this.. to be told it was Chinch bugs. I questioned Curtis how this could happen since he had been treating my yard for a year, which included treatment for Chinch bugs. No response! I notified Curtis that I wished to discontinue my service to his reply "no problem, we are all done here". Fast forward to today, I just received a bill for $55 from a Collection Agency almost 2 years later. Mind you I was set up on auto-pay and I never received a final bill or a notice of being "late". Called to speak with Curtis but got the new Office Manager that just apologized as all he could tell me was that there was an invoice in the system didn't know if it was mailed or any follow up letters sent.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY POOR SERVICE, CUSTOMER SERVICE AND MANAGEMENT

Unbelievable results, Chris Stovall has turned my lawn into a show piece, while my neighbors who get sprayed are suffering..he constantly changes with the environment....highly recommend...
