Great place to drink some of the best beer in San Diego. Lots of space and a huge bar make it easy to sample the usual 20+ beers on tap.

Tons of delicious beers, awesome atmosphere right in the brewing warehouse. The staff is also very helpful and friendly, a great place to have some beers with friends.
It was a fun event. I enjoyed the conradre with Dave from Green Flash and all of the staff. They made us fill welcomed. I hope this first Brewdown will not be their last. Thank you Jamul Brewing Co
Awesome beer but very limited choice for food. Food truck outside is just OK nothing great.
Granted I was here early evening. It was slow and not as many people in the dining area as in the bar. The dining area needed attention, clean up, etc., and the food from the food truck was not that good. I was a bit disappointed. The beer however, was excellent!
Great atmosphere, plenty of space and great beer! Frequent flyer for sure.
Great beer. All priced a $5 for for and $2.50 for half. Tons of different beers on tap.
I have loved Green Flash for years. Glad I finally was able to stop in
Great beer selection. Pretty good prices, and a delicious food truck in the back yard. Also dog friendly!
I have been a fan of their beers for a long time. This is my first time going to the brewery. It is an amazing place to visit, they have tons of beers available and the facility is really nice. They have a food truck that is also very good but a little overpriced.
The Tropical DNA was AMAZING. Loved sitting in the outdoor patio area. Very kid-friendly and pet-friendly as I saw a lot of babies and pups at the brewery. If you're an IPA fan, you won't have a problem finding good beer here
This place has good brews at a reasonable price. They don't have the absolute best beers in the world, but I enjoy the atmosphere. It's relatively easy to order from their large bar, and there is lots of room for people to disperse so it doesn't get crowded.
They do have a food truck for food, but I haven't eaten anything there.
Awesome local brewery with an amazing selection of beers and good food
Had a beer here. It was good but the atmosphere was nothing great.
Exceeded my expectations.
Was fortunate enough to be with a group that has access to the back.
5 stars for beer, 5 stars for atmosphere, 5 stars for prices, 5 stars for food truck... 1 star for the smoking area outside that blows right into the seating area and food truck location. Averaged together is 4 stars.
Great place to grab a beer. Friendly staff and perfect place to grab some super rare brews!
This Brewery has the Best brews & the Best food truck meals!
Tour was FANTASTIC! Guide was knowledgeable about beer not just this is what we do here. AMAZING! Here's were great.
Nice place. Always crowded. The manager is really nice, very accommodating. Parking is little hassle, but you can find road sides. Awesome beer and tour. Don't miss.
Did the half marathon there. The brewery is awesome!
awesome variety of beers, nice outside space and good food. Service could improve. Souvenirs highly expensive.
Awesome local brewery. One of the better food trucks.
I've always like Green Flash, the beer is top notch. The deal they have with Alpine is a win-win for beer drinkers I love being able to finally get my hands on some Pure Hoppiness, Nelson, Duet. Cheers!
Friendly staff and good beers make sure you use the Groupon!
My bf and I had the awesome opportunity of taking a private tour with Adam this past weekend. This is a must see place when you are in San Diego, if you enjoy great craft beer. All of the employees are friendly, the beer selection is amazing, and it's truly a learning experience. Adam was so sweet, very welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable. We left feeling buzzed and even more educated on different types of beer and craft processing. They have great quality food trucks and a nice outdoor seating area. This brewery is worth the drive from wherever you are in the SD area. We absolutely loved the experience and highly recommend it to any locals or tourists.
Great selection of beers, great staff, fun atmosphere
Oh what can I say about this place other than the fact that it is amazing.... Great beer, awesome outside venue for music and seating, constant food trucks for munching and a shuttle that takes you to and from their other place. Loved it here. Will definitely be coming back. Only less than stellar note is there is no real indoor seating.
Was suprisingly not very busy at 2 on a Saturday. But solid beer. Wish they had a little more restaurant atmosphere to make it a little easier to stay for a period of time but a great place to stop by for 2 beers and head home. Without the real dining facility I wouldn't spend much more time there because food and hydration would become an issue for an extended period of time
Good assortment of beers, nicely priced. Loved the indoor and outdoor settings. Large parking lot, and plenty of street parking to accommodate a Friday night. I missed the entrance though, and wasn't quite sure where to actually get a beer until I saw where people were walking from with full glasses. There was a food truck outside (didn't order) and a genuine array of people.
Have relatives here and what to try out there beer but nothing posted on site to inform you that they are take out only or what's going on with there business
Good beer and a general location not really centered around anything. All around good time for a beer enthusiast.
Great tasting room. There's a beer garden on the side and usually a food truck by the beer garden. Tasters start at a buck and prices go up from there. They do let you fill growlers and you can buy chilled bottled beer (must be consumed off site). A large part of the building is dedicated to brewing Green Flash's beer.
This is my wifes one of her favorite breweries, people were really nice and the beer was great! Glad that I brought my wife here
A really fun brewery tour. The tour guide gave more brewing jokes than most other brewery tours. It's $6.50 and you get 4 beers along the way- a great bargain.
The tasting room itself is relatively normal. They have a bunch of beers on tap and a quality food truck stationed outside.
Friendly and delicious as always. Love the rare Fluthered Red.
Great beers. $5.50 full pours. Cool vibe. Wish their food selection was better... Food trucks apparently rotate out.
But the beers are awesome. Outdoor patio is great.
great beer; great place to hang out. a must try brewery if you are visiting San Diego.
They have the wicked combo of food truck + brewery tours. As a canadian in Sandiego I was blown away.
Lots of different choices. Friendly staff that are knowledgeable about beer. Large high ceilings that make you feel small in the tasting room. Great place to meet up. They have a truck that serves food.
A very large variety of beer. Something for just about everyone. The food truck is pricy, but good. Nice place to hang out with friends or co workers after work.
We booked Cellar3 for our wedding venue, and 5 months out, we found out that they closed the venue and didn't bother to contact us. We found out through social media. It would have been nice if they contacted us the minute the staff found out they were closing. Their excuse was they only found out 5 hours before the social media hit. That would have been plenty of time to contact us. Barbara was exceptionally rude and sent us a back handed apology. She wrote a novel explaining how to be a 'good' bride whatever that means. All I wanted you to hear is how upset we were and take responsibility instead of yelling at me. You yelled howits not a big deal. Shame on you, Barb.
I love this place - Really big space that has seen a lot of renovations over the years, really awesome beers and pet friendly too. Big plus for me and my dog! All their beers are world class, the people working there are always super nice, and there's some rotating carousel of food trucks that seem to stop by every day, and they're usually pretty good - definitely a nice way to wash down a tasty IPA. The location is sort of near my office, which is cool - great way to unwind after a day at work. Haven't taken their brewery tour in a long time but when I did I thought it was very informative and a fun way to see the cogs ticking, so to speak. All in all, definitely check out Green Flash, one of San Diego's best.
I was never a beer fan. I had a class at Sigler down the street and some classmates convinced me to check this place out before class one day. I no longer drink hard alcohol, and I have the Green Flash to thank. Cheers!
My favorite beer used to be Saturhaze EZY IPA HZY. I loved this beer - full IPA flavor at a 4.2% APV. In September, I purchased two six packs and each had one can that was crinkled, less-than-filled, spoiled. I wrote to Green Flash and they responded that I should go to the tasting room 20 miles from me and they would do something (I guess sell me beer).
Last week, I purchased a six pack that was canned on September 1, 2020 and three of the cans were defective / crinkled. I again contacted Green Flash and they wrote that I should return to the store to complain.
Green Flash clearly has a quality problem with their canning operation and anyone buying their product does so at your own risk. Be prepared for a 50% or higher defect rate when you buy their canned products.
Rather than owning this seam / canning problem, they would rather make it your problem / chore. Lots of other low octane IPAs out there - suggest avoiding Green Flash until they figure out their canning issue.
Update.... ok, I could not stay away from the lovely, subtle citrus flavor of this beer. Since writing the above review, I've purchased another four or five six packs of Saturhaze EZY IPA HZY. No crinkled cans were found in these six packs. No hard feelings but I wish Green Flash would have shown more support. I won't be going to their tasting rooms..
Good beer selection with rotating brews. Food truck on site is good, but expensive. Dog friendly.
Great place with great outdoor patio. Plenty of options to choose from, but their double stout is
Great beer, and awesome lunchtime food truck. Highly recommend a visit!
This is always a favorite brewery to visit when I visit San Diego! Dog friendly, good beer, relaxed place.
My home base brewery. If you like a wide selection, great staff, and comfortable environment. It s the place to be for Friday lunch or a weekend stop and relax. Nelson or not Nelson? That is the question.
Great beer selection at a good price. Both Green Flash and Alpine. Food truck available. Atmosphere is okay.
Love this place. A good selection of beer and atmosphere is nice. Good place to relax with some friends and have some beer.
Lots of beers to choose from. Staff was very friendly on a very busy day.
great beer, great experience.. tasting room is awesome.. everybody is very informative and there are many different types of beer for people of all interests
Great brew selection and the small selection of food is delicious. Staff is all friendly! The ambience is very chill but would like to see more seating on the inside. Other than the seating this place is definitely a great place to hang out in. They also have corn hole and jumbo jenga outside. Two thumbs up!
Great beer garden and food truck options.
Get very crowded on Thursday and Friday nights.
Great for a much deserved after work drink.
Lovin the social runs and their Le Freak is on fleek!
Get Josue for your guide! Best tour I've EVER had. Amazing stuff.
Delicious beers and fun atmosphere. They had a ton of beers on top and multiple sizes of samples that you can get
popular destination. Beer is rich in variety, good to drink, not expensive.
Gigantic tasting room and really friendly staff. They had 30 beers on tap when I visited. If I had an afternoon to kill I'd try all of them. Great brewery!
You won't get any fresher beer than this, $5.50 a pour even for the rare ones. Food truck style food out on a patio.
Wide selection of beers and many bartenders means fast service even in the most busy times. They have their own did truck with an awesome Cuban sandwich.
Great selection of full bodied hop forward flavors that are in the citrus/fruity flavor as well as selections that are sharp earthy piney flavors. They also have many other selections besides IPA's such as chocolaty stouts and porters along with their lagers and saisons, they even have cask beer to try. I would absolutely come back to the Green Flash
P.s. the food truck has an amazing burger.
