My 3 week old daughter needed a frenectomy. Dr. Shaughnessey was so unbelievably comforting and kind! He did the procedure quickly and my daughter has been eating better already! His follow up call to check in was extremely appreciated. Every staff member that i spoke with before and after the procedure were also amazing. For such a scary procedure for a new mom, I truly felt like we were in the best hands. I highly recommend them!
I have been taking both my daughters there since they were 3 years old. I am never disappointed about their knowledge, their work, and their commitment. The whole staff are so nice and my daughters are not scared of the dentist! I wish I had one like this when I was a kid! Highly highly recommended this place.
So warm, so welcoming, in and out in 30 minutes! My kids have been going to Greater Boston Smiles since their first tooth and there have never been tears or fears to go to the dentist, just excitement for tge visit and their giant balloon they get when all done!
Cavity treatment schedule was not taken as an urgent care - about a month delay - due to too many patients. Finally extensive cavity had to be treated on ADULT molar of our child. Not welcomed with parents' involvement.
The entire staff was extremely professional and caring. I would definitely recommend going there.

Today was my first time at Greater Boston Smiles, I was referred to them by a good friend. My son is 5 and had 8 cavities. We did have half the fillings done at the previous dentist which led to me pinning my child down... I decided it was time to try another dentist to see if they could help ease my child s anxiety. The staff and Dr. Shaughnessy took the time to explain their process regarding fillings, and put myself and my son at ease for our next visit. They are patient and kind, and clearly know how to handle situations where the child is fearful. The office spotless, bright and fun for kids!
My son is 14 months old and this was his first experience at the dentist and I was more than impressed !!! I had no idea how they would able to check his teeth, if he would tolerate the exam etc. let me tell you...... they know exactly what they are doing and they got to check his teeth, clean them, and the hygienist was amazing !! Dr. S was very informative about his care, extremely nice , even sang the ABC s to my son while examining his teeth! Covid precautions were maintained and I felt safe during his exam. My son and I had a great experience ! I would highly recommend! .
This is the best pediatric dental office I ve ever experienced. Dr. Shaughnessy is so knowledgeable and great with kids of all ages. The staff are very friendly and efficient and the office has a fun and happy atmosphere. Everywhere you look there is something interesting to look at. I really can t say enough about them. My son looks forward to going to the dentist!
