Been rafting south these great people more than 7 times every trip has been wonderful regardless of weather high water or anything. They alwsys go the extra mile for there guests.

Went on the full day rafting trip and it was amazing. I convinced my girlfriend to go who had never rafted before. They made the experience accessible for beginners. The day started with a nice meandering float. Then we stopped for lunch that our guides grilled riverside. After lunch is where the rapids begin and the fun level skyrockets. The guides and resort staff are top notch! I highly recommend them for any rafting adventure!

So much was perfect about this trip! We were a family of 4 (parents and 2 tweens) on a dinner rafting trip. We were lucky to get our own boat and fantastic guide, Dan. Rafting was exciting, but not scary; dinner was delicious and a nice break to chill on a beach, everything was very relaxed and flexible. Highly recommend!

Plus: Pleasant service. Nice and clean rooms. Beautiful scenic rafting. Great location.

Minus: Bad internet signal within our room. Bad smell from the drains in our bathroom.

We chose Great Northern Resort as our wedding venue, and we are very happy with our decision. Cathi was great to work with, was flexible, and very accommodating. The venue was beautiful and was just as described on the website. Great Northern Resort is an amazing place to get married. Thanks for a great experience - it s one we won t forget.

Great Northern is locally owned/operated and it shows. We were lucky to be the only two guests rafting the river with seventeen (yes, 17!) guides and rookies in three rafts training for the upcoming season. And the ride back to Great Northern on the bus with this crew - quite fun!!

Our experience in both scenic and whitewater was great. Safety was always number one with fun, local lore, and an education right behind.

Sean and Chloe were our awesome guides and riverside chefs. You can not beat grilled steak and chicken with vegetables and desert on a sand bar!

We highly recommend Great Northern for your adventure in Glacier National Park!

Had a great experience on this "half day" rafting trip. It was my first time on the white water with my wife. Our guide Mirielle did a great job guiding us and getting us set up. We felt pretty safe during the experience and were accommodated freely when my wife wanted to take a swim the shore. If you're looking for more exciting rapids I don't think this is the trip for you, but at least for me it was a good introduction.

Had an AWESOME time white water rafting down the same river as Meryl Streep in The River Wild. Our guide, John, was a wealth of information about the river and surrounding area. It was educational and fun!

The lodge was beautiful; the raft trip with dinner was fun (our guide Morgan was great); the setting was perfect. We would go back!

We did the Scenic Float. Great float trip down the Middle Fork river! So beautiful and enjoyed it thoroughly. Our first raft trip, wasn't sure what to expect. It is well organized and super user-friendly, just climb in! ANYONE, young, old, couch potato to athlete, can do this! Don't need special gear as the river is generally calm. Life vests are provided. We lucked out with beautiful weather and a great guide. This float was the most memorable part of our trip to Glacier. We want to go back for white water trip! Highly recommend.

We loved our stay at Great Northern Resort. It is a family owned business that made us feel so welcomed! On Friday night there was a Bar-B-Que with music. The staff stopped by our table and chatted with us like we were old friends. Kathy, one of the owners stopped by and sat with us toward the end of the evening. Chris our guide for the scenic river rafting was wonderful. In addition to proving us with a lovely few hours on the river, he raved about the owners and how they made the employees feel like family. The rooms were well appointed with a comfortable king sized bed and beautiful new bathroom. We enjoyed our breakfast at the red caboose before we set off for our days' adventures. Their property is literally a two minute drive to Glacier National Park. Unfortunately, we were there during the fires so access was only to Apgar Village. Even with Mother Nature throwing a curve ball our stay at Great Northern Resort was wonderful.

We had a great time on the river with our guide "Tubesock". This was one of our friend's first time rafting and he's hooked. It's a nice mix of floating/enjoying the scenery and some adventure on the bigger rapids. We had 3 kiddos on our boat and they loved it. Would highly recommend!!

We were a group of nine and had booked Tatonka cabin. We were thoroughly amazed by the hospitality. The staff helped us plan our trip and recommended really nice remote hikes/lakes/spots not much frequented by travelers. Their white water rafting is also very well organized. Would recommend it to my friends.
