Wow! Gotta those military men and women who risk it all so we can have it all!!!! Thank you for your service brothers and sisters. GOD BLESS YOU
The choices of quality merchandise and rapid service was a treat. The gifts I proudly brought back made family members happy.
My first visit was great. Everyone treated me like I have been there for years.
Such a huge help, if you are a servicemembers or the family of, reccomend visiting them, you will be treated like family.
Very unfriendly staff. Restroom stalls don't even have doors
The Pass In Review is well put together and very family friendly. It was our pleasure to attend. Thanks for making our son's graduation day so special!
Fantastic place to go on base and very family friendly
Get to cross off another experience on my bucket list. My son graduated from the U.S. Navy today. So both my kids are in the military now. Such a proud dad moment.
my boyfriend is in the navy now his graduation is august 31 & i miss him so muchh
im a proud navy girlfriend <3
My son is getting ready to graduate the 21st of August we are so excited to see him. :)
What are the base shopping with my sister who is a army worker we did some shopping and just had a good time the weather and rain was the only problem definitely a good and friendly place to to hang out
Had a great time, celebrating my son retirement from the Navy after twenty three year. The place was very nice, clean, etc
Went to North Chicago to the Navy Reserves base to see my oldest son graduate from Navy training. It was cool if you like Navy or military stuff but a little long for my taste but we still had a nice time seeing my son for the 1st time in almost 2 months. That was a huge joy an blessing to see him in his Navy uniform, now Im seeing him as a grown man but when he left home he was my baby and that is a huge change in itself. I never been away from any of my kids that long so bnb it was a challenge. But all in all we had a nice time and good trip. There all the Sailors where so nice and respectful even when they had to pat us down, lol, before we entered the building but I would go there again.
Was the best day of my like watching my daughter graduating navy boot camp#395. Go Navy
Very nice staff and nice grounds. We had a great time while we were there. We were treated very nice by everybody
It's the only one on base, and the facility is always clean. The offerings of non-food items has proven useful in many pinches. Some of the healthy, fresh snacks such as salsa, fruit, guacamole, and sandwiches have come in handy at times when the galley is closed or very far from a worksite on base, and the Sailor hasn't the budget for the food court at the Nex. The hot food on holidays & Sundays often has common allergens, however, so it's easy for some Sailors to feel left out when their friends are enjoying their meal.
Usually, with students at the main entrance, the staff barks "IDs! Show your CAC cards!" without so much as a "hi," be it before or after the ID request. This makes a Sailor feel pitied and/or resented that this non-profit exists for them. However, the effort is appreciated nonetheless. The staff becomes very nice with a little time, the piano is beautiful, the occasional gluten free groceries are lifesaving, and many of the movies shown are comforting.
This is a great place to go as an introduction to HELL !
They do Awesome helping sailors enjoy home away from home.
Very impressive everyone on base was very polite and professional. Everything looked spotless and clean. Also there was a great display to walk through.
I love the military God bless the men and women whom serve!
Very Proud to witness fine young Men & Women Gradulate Navy training School.
Everything about this facility was amazing. It certainly felt like a home away from home.
Not what I would call a "National Museum". More like some pictures and memorabilia of the training center.
Graduated from here in 92 but came back to visit in 2014. Place has really gone down hill!
For veterans in Illinois this is a must-see go to place
I IS THE LARGEST TRAING CENTER IN THE WORLD, I BELIEVE IT CAME IN TO BEING SO IN WW1A LOT ON HISTORIC BUILDINGS . My husband started his career there and retired there. Our daughter got married in the chapel. Everyone is polite. We have taken friends and family to see the base.
Not good, high expectations for a well rounded grandson with no problems in bootcamp to an emotional recluse , if he had gone straight to a war zone but A school something needs fixing. I will stop there, too much to write,
Great place for military members to relax waiting for next flight
They are so kind in everything they Do! I thank them 100x!!
GO ARMY! BEAT NAVY! but this place has it all! During a zombie apocalypse im coming here
Boot camp here was life changing! (For the better) 1989, company 929, Honor company! We had the best CC on base! Never yelled, didn't have to.
I'm a veteran n thier service is outstanding 2 my opinion
