GREAT LAKES RTC/NTC Reviews

Took a Neghbor up to Great Lakes VA hospital for some yearly tests. I have been to a aumber of VA facilities over the last. Couple of years. All of my friends were taken care quickly and efficiently!!!!

We went for the fireworks & music on the 4th of July. It was fantastic.

Maybe alright for training sailor recruits, but definitely not set up to receive guests at graduation. Plan to spend hours on hard bleachers.

Loved my experience here specially with my daughter. Hats off to the men and women who serve this great Nation!

The staff could not have been anymore helpful! Made the trip a breeze.

Liked seeing the base as we watched my bro graduate. He was at the front of his squad. Seeing the base was a good memory. If I get back there I will take the "L" - I think it goes up that way. Loved his petty coat and tried getting my own to try on.

Love the USA and everything they do for our troops! This is a grade A facility. There's a movie theater, computer lab, a library and even a place for little children. There's something for everybody and you can't beat their No-Dough Dinners.

For a naval training base I expected a much larger museum...

We got to see our son graduate from boot camp and become a Navy Sailor in this building, so it will always be dear to me.

Great place for enlisted to get small things and help for new to the Navy.

Dedicated personnel, friendly and extremely helpful

I went for Navy boot camp graduation and it was awesome. A lot of people were there too and it was an unforgettable experience. It was just sheer joy and emotional moments as new recruits reunited with their families after their tough boot camp training. Once in a lifetime.

Thank you to the USO for all you do! The volunteers are amazing!

We went to the Navy Family Welcome Center for PIR tickets and of course souvenirs. Very helpful and informative! Friendly staff.

Great place to take a much needed travel break. All the staff are friendly and their is always food and drinks available with plenty of seating for you to relax. It is one of the nicest USO locations I have been to.

I went to Recruit Training there over 40 years ago in 1979.

These people really know how to treat their own. I don't know who the owner is but if you're reading this, you're doing a great job. You make the sailors (and their dependants!) Feel so welcomed! It's an amazing experience to get treated so nicely in a military related facility, can't even begin to express the gratitude.

Graduated 18 April 2003 in division 920, state flags. We got to perform the honor guard for the submariner's 103rd birthday.

Great place for members of the military to relax and unwind. Very friendly organization

Nice place, well groomed and the ultimate bonus is having a family member, like my son, graduate. Go NAVY!

Awesome staff that just want you to have a good time. Sunday mornings they offer breakfast and it hits home.
