They will usually unload you when you get there, unless you're late then you're a work in. Once I'm in a door they work pretty quickly.

Unloading was very fast and I was late for my appointment delivery

I delivered here very efficiently. For me it was FCFS.
Park on the parking spaces before you enter the building, walk into the office to check in, they will get you assigned with a door.
Before you back in slide your tandems to the rear, brake your seal, open your doors and chock your wheels. Once I got a green light I was good to go.
Within an hour I was OUT.
I didn t see any overnight parking on site.

Got to say that I am very disappointed and this would be my last time picking up. This company was great ones, then slowly was getting worst, up to 5-6 h for pick up past my appointment. Now today. Checked in 7:30 am now is 7:40 pm just got docked. Curious to see what time I will be loaded. Got 450 miles for 7 am in the morning not sleeping all day all night.

Even with an appointment, there's a constant long wait! Horrible customer service!

Wow. The female receiving clerk who works in receiving takes her job super seriously. She's not rude or anything, but it kind of feels like I'm twelve, walking into the office to speak with the really stern, scary principal at school. Lighten up. Truck Drivers are people too. It doesn't hurt to show a little bit of humanity and friendliness.

Smooth and easy 1pm app arived 1:30pm and got door, loaded by 3pm.

Kinda slow getting loaded. Been here twice and both times they we're slow. Not the worst but they could be quicker.

For the truckers. When arriving to facility park on any of the designated lanes to the immediate left for shipping. For receiving, you have to continue on Great Lakes Parkway for about 1/6 th of a mile. Check-in at the office indicated More

Awesome. Arrived 3 hrs early given door right away for unloading. Awesome and friendly staff.

I recommend this place, based on the office and you register and at the moment you have your door an excellent person attends to you then there is the light in green you wait for red and when you have green again base to the office for your papers and ready, clean trailer and 33 degrees ,

9/25/20Easy to get to. Park in entrance walk to shipping/recieving. Was unload the less then a hour. Crazy road to recieving docks. Construction going on

Would definitely like to deliver here again. 0800 appt. Checked in at 0740, got a door right away. Out at 0846.

Truckers: You can arrive early. But once you are loaded. You will have to finish your break on the street cul-de-sac. If there is parking available. Typically longer than normal loading time. Clean restrooms available in shipping and receiving office.

Great company to deliver/pick up at. Friendly staff at the check in, friendly yard jockeys, and other staff. The facility is very clean. The open appoints help a lot and early drop offs are allowed. They however do not allow parking for breaks onsite. GLC goes above and beyond. This it s highly recommended.

Horrible place to pick up from.
I had a open window appointment from 7am-11:00am my delivery was supposed to be at 1:00pm that same day. I m still waiting for a door and it s now 3:15 do i need to say more?

Waiting more than 5 hours to get the door (and still waiting). A lot of empty doors and more than 15 trucks waiting.

Appointment at 1020, in door at 0430, 2 hours to load. No overnight parking. Friendly people

I delivered a truck load of cheese here. Great staff and facility. No overnight parking here. I arrived at 1700 was unloaded and on the road at 1845.

Seems like it would be a long wait but not too bad considering the size of this place

I was an hour late because of traffic
I checked in at 3:00pm
After wait of 3 hours when i went to shipping office to check how long I have to wait more they gave me door (so if would be sitting and waiting they were not showing any interest to call me neither they said to reschedule the appointment) so rude
Well at 3:30pm I came at door and it is 9:45pm they are still unable to finish loading.

Hate to come again this place.

Great place to unload. Appointment was at 8 am, I arrived 8 hours earlier and got unloaded right away in 20 minutes, full trailer.

Pretty nice place to get loaded and unloaded at. Very quick about it. Also, they have overnight parking and you can check in early and have a pretty good chance to get loaded early. Friendly faces.

They took to long to load me so I ran out of drive hours and had to sit there..

Very fast and efficient for a truck driver waiting to be loaded or unloaded, and they took my load a day early

Got here at 12 noon on Friday. Appointment at 1, got in a door by 147. Finished Loading by 1745. Not upset.. 67 miles later to scale at TA.
Reefer trailer, Tandems all the way to the front, 1100 over on the drives. 32500 on the trailer. load double stacked from the nose, to the middle. From the middle to the end single layer. Need the load REWORKED. Reached out to the right people. They're closed for the weekend. But Weekend 2 stop delivery. Still at the TA in my bed, weather is beautiful. God is good. I worry for nothing. I'm talking money Monday.

Park in the parking spaces in the driveway and walk up to check-in. Either go to your dock or wait in your truck until called. Move tandems to the rear on the pavement NOT the blacktop. When the light turns green, go back inside to get your bills.
I got there 16-18 hours early and they had me in a door within 10 minutes and I was loaded within an hour and a half. The restaurant next door will deliver to your truck.

Absolutely unprofessional stuff at receiving, especially the lumper old man with beard.
He messed up everything, I don t know how they keep such an incompetent employee at this plant. Be advised these people don t appreciate drivers time, be ready to spend here at least 7-8 hours.
I hope they will get the same treatment for the rest of their lives!

Regular customer. They're usually pretty quick getting me in and out. The crew here is great, busy, but great.

10 am unloading appointment. 12 noon, I'm still sitting in the Dock. Slower than any Cheese unloading I've had to deliver.

Got here at 11 a.m. 12:30 still waiting to be loaded. I still like the place so far

MAKE SURE COMEING HERE HAVE FOOD WITH YOU.WAITING CAN BE UPTO 10 HOURS BEFORE START LOADING AND START LOADING IS MAYBE MORE THAN 5HOUR.THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR DELIVERY APPOINTMENT.

Got there 12hr before my appointment an was unload with in the hour

Place is getting worse and worse for drivers to make deliveries on time and they don't care about the driver's time either

This is a terrible company to work for. It's family owned not family oriented to start. They make the bidding process to get on a different shift extremely difficult. So if you don't have a family this is the place for you. They make Saturdays mandatory and they don't post the schedule to let you know if you're working or not until Friday night so don't make plans. Ever. The managers have favorites so get on their good side and then you can get away with anything you want. To this place you are a number. I worked there for several years, and could not mentally handle the physical, verbal, and mental abused that I dealt with on a daily basis.

The amazing folks at Great Lakes Cheese donated personal care items to help stock the pantry at Prince of Peace Church.

Park in lane then walk inside to check in. Have vending machine and restroom. Loaded me in about 3 hours. Can park overnight on the side street but not on property.

Arrived last night with an 0900 appointment this morning. I just got empty 2 hours before my appointment. Only in the dock less than an hour. Was with a fellow company driver. He had an 0800 & was allowed to go park on receiving side. I had to wait in the bullpen 'til the yard driver woke me up. They signed the BOLs when we checked in. You back in, have them break the seal, & pull out when you get the green light. You can either leave or go back to the bullpen. 24 hour facility here Mon-Fri. Sign said 7AM-7PM Sunday but there was a guy in there after 7 to check us in. Definitely an Elog mandate friendly facility here boy howdy. These boys are ready for December. More Ship/Rec warehouses should be like them.

Some days you're in and out within an hour.....others, not so fast

I came here 2 Nd time not to bad usually pick load takes 2 to 3 hours

First time here, arrived 6 hours earlier without any problems gave a dock and 30 min. unloaded 43,500 LB. Super location, polite staff.

It's like any other shipper, some days are good and others are bad

No times on bol took 5 hrs to get a door and get loaded but most days it's not like this.. Also be specific on loading because they will just throw it on and you will need reworked from being 40k on your drives

After checking in, you will have to wait at least 7-8 hours

0 star !!! My pick up appointment 14:30. Check in 13:20. Check out 19:45

Not in a hurry .. loading time a little more than 3 hours ...
