Great Eastern Resort Review

High pressure sales and resale value is not remotely close to what they claim. Stay away.

It is just a scam to get your money. They talk about the great deal you are getting and no matter how many times you say no, they keep pushing. Resale is not what they claim and they never get back to you unless you owe them money (which they never disclose to you until AFTER you sign and your buyers remorse period is up)

Please don't fall victim to their predatory sales practice. This company is nothing short of a scam. There is no binding contract for you to sign but apparently they will refuse to refund your money if you cancel the presentation.

I'm an owner at Woodstone and was most definitely disrespected on a recent visit to what is supposed to be my home base. You have a salesperson who needs to go. This is our second time dealing with him and he was a total jackass. We were called liars, among other things. Once we tell you we're not interested that should be the end of the conversation; but, not with him!! Like you can't and will not take anything from us. Oh, and trying to hold us hostage...boy bye.

Cold calls...really!?!! Only bottom feeders do those!

On 10-25-18 attended "Owner's Update" Was promised $100 Visa Gift Card and thold that credit card on file would only be charged if we didn't attend and it was only suppose to be 2 hours. Well 2 hours turned into 3.5 hrs. We told them no. We were then direct to another person who tried to sell us another timeshare and again said no. Then directed to Gifting department where they gave me a $20 pre paid gift card because they did charge my credit card (unauthorized charge) and they tried to give me $150 in "Mad cash" that could only be used on the resort. The staff got nasty with me and threatened to call security which I asked them to do. 30 minutes passed no security. I eventually made contact with a manager who arranged for me to get the promised $100 pre paid card but I wasted another 2 hours of my time to do it. Great Eastern - Massanutten resort stop your deceptive trade practices....
