Unfortunately this company bought the property we were renting. They have been using a "real estate agent" as a go between. That guy is a real piece of work. Harassing phone calls, screaming, swearing, sending contractors to the property telling them its "vacant" while we're still living there. The best part was today, when this "agent" showed up at our house, unannounced with no prior notice (a clear violation of the landlord tenant act) to threaten us with "bulldozing the house" and "bad stuff" if we aren't out immediately, scaring our children. Even after being asked to only contact our real estate agent, and not having started a legal eviction process (simce it will tie up the property for 3-6 months), knowing that we are waiting for our house to close so we can move. Hiring bullies to take care of "the dirty work" of intimidating people who live on properties they buy, is a shady business practice. We are pursuing whatever civil actin we can against them, but be aware that they employ these kinds of tactics.
