This is areally great place to hit for an afternoon. There is a hiking trail that leads to water falls........four miles round trip. Take a hike and come back to the vineyards for some good wine. Lots of parking and open seating.

They only have semi-sweet other than their dessert wine, but if you are looking for a dessert wine, theirs is definitely sweet and reasonably priced. Oh, and as a wine label snob thumbs up!
Quiet but large location awaits a visit here. The staff are super friendly and answer any questions. The inside and outdoor space is very inviting. Plenty of open grass for little to run around, and the lovely bonus here is a small trail to explore behind the shop.
We went primarily for the hiking trail that starts at the vineyard. Fairly long trail system that extends out to the Carter Falls trailhead. The trail has a few picnic tables and benches along the way. Once you're done hiking, you can sit back and enjoy wine and live music! If going in the summer, it can be rather sunny.
Cute small Vineyard in the foothills. The owners are super nice. On a Sunday afternoon they had live music and you can hike from there to Carter falls. I don't know a lot about vine but we found some that we liked and bought. Definitely recommend
What a lovely little winery! Very cozy and homey not the somewhat snooty atmosphere one might expect from a typical winery. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. You could tell they love what they do and are proud of this place. We got a little history of the farm and vineyard, and even advice on how to hike the adjacent trail which leads to a lovely tree bathing grove and a replica of the Hoover Dam! We did a wine tasting flight and really enjoyed all of them, particularly the Cabernet Franc and the Barbera a variety we d never heard of and is apparently only found at this NC winery right now. (We bought 2 bottles!) I would classify these varietals as somewhat lighter and less robust than their California counterparts, but that will appeal to some. We thought they were very flavorful and subtly nuanced. Can t wait to see what else they put out in the future. There is plenty of outdoor seating and space. They have a fire pit and portable heaters as well. You can also purchase charcuterie and small plate items to accompany their delicious wines. Grassy Creek is a wonderful, laid-back place to enjoy a relaxing afternoon!
A fun place to enjoy some local wines. The grounds are beautiful, and the tasting room is a wonderful space. There is a nice covered spot outside as well. The wines themselves were OK - we had the Chardonnay, the Cab Sauvignon, and the Red Blend. The environment is quite relaxing and peaceful.
Had a wonderful visit this weekend. Owner and winemaker both there and great people. Very inviting setting and both kid and dog friendly. The hiking around here is fantastic too. All this and they have great wine. The barrel chard was my favorite but I liked all the reds a lot too. Highly recommend and will definitely be back. Thank you for the hospitality!
Very pleasant environment. The have a number of amenities including cabin rentals. The wines are very nice and a selection for any palette. Most weekends they have music. Today they had the fabulous James Vincent Carroll.
