Grand Plaza Hotel Reviews

Very disappointing, promised cabanas, THERE ARE NONE, umbrellas only.. The furniture in our bathroom was mismatched and falling apart, the parking garage has never had a bath and the building is in need of repair. I thought this venue was just as nice as it's name, no way. I be looking for a better venue upon other visits. BTW, I am a local.

Nice hotel for the price. Easy access to the facility from the garage and easy to spot when driving around. The room we had was in good repair and was clean. It had a twin and a king bed that were comfortable. The restaurant at the top called Spinners was amazing albeit was about $140 for two with tip. The other restaurants, two of them, were only offering limited menus due to COVID-19 so hard to comment on their food.Great access to the beach and I can imagine it would be a fantastic setting for a wedding. The only negatives were that the rooms didn't have comfortable chairs to sit in and the gentleman at the front desk during checkout was quite surly. The young lady during check-in was fantastic though. I would describe this as a hotel on the beach, not a resort. But for the price you won't feel cheated.

Dropped in this morning to check on room availability & rates for a 2 or 3 day stay in March. It will be "in season", so it will be more expensive, but it's totally worth it. Your best bet is to ask for the "Front Desk Special", which is 40% off. The Grand Plaza is an awesome property, has all of the Resort amenities you'll need, fantastic Guest Service, and is a ton of fun FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY !

Love this place! It does need a little renovation (happening soon) but the rooms are nice and clean! Bongos was fun and food was good! The best part was our check in. Daniel was SO nice and so friendly! He was also our checkout, makes a difference when people are friendly, in these days kindness and being friendly means so much!

Spinners, the rooftop restaurant, is where we always go for some fine dining and great view of the ocean. Delicious food, great customer service, and a relaxing ambience.

Awesome hotel the ocean front rooms makes the stay perfect. Love the restaurant on top of the hotel. Worth a dinner up there just for the view. The food was very good.

The grande plaza hotel has very good views of the beach, the beds are comfortable. Spinners rooftop lounge had amazing food and a beautiful view, it was the best restaurant to celebrate my birthday at. The breakfast was not very good though at the Palm Room and it was way over priced. My omelet had turkey sausage and I lost my appetite. So skip the breakfast get your own somewhere else. We sat outside on our private balcony and watched the sunset. Very relaxing weekend indeed.

As locals here, we love to come back (9 miles away ) and have a staycation weekend at Grand Plaza Hotel as often as possible year round!

Hotel offers the best views from ANY room from the 6th floor and up. Amenities are all there for dining on the rotating rooftop restaurant and outdoor lounge, or a candle lit table in the sand (literally) on the beach.
Bongo s beach bar is fun, and the prices are very fair for what you get.

It's currently under construction but the bongos bar it's the best place to have a drink on the beach. Highly recommend.

Very nice hotel, the room we stayed in had a weird layout but it worked for 2 people. The staff was very friendly, the beach was beautiful. They have a bar outside with delicious daiquiris for a little over $10 each. The breakfast was good and it was a good price.
