Went there about 2 weeks ago, visiting from San Diego we liked it a lot. They enjoyed the zip line thing the most. My only complaint is in the smaller park there was a tube that went down all the littles kept getting stuck in. Otherwise the park was fun and the kids had a great time.

What a rip off. I needed a park shelter for a kids birthday. First off they do not do hourly rates. You have to rent a park shelter for 4 hours! My kids would not last that long. And second the price is outrageous for a couple picnic tables and a dirty charcoal grill. They need to have more affordable options.

Rising Stars theatre program is non-inclusive, discriminatory and will not allow your child to participate in the program at a moment's notice. Don't expect a refund or an apology if your child gets a haircut, cast, changes hair color, etc. and gets kicked out of the play they worked hard on.

The GJ parks department needs to come up with a better system for reserving park pavilions! I don t know who many times we set up a party at location because there is no reservation card and in the middle of the party someone comes with a reservation card. I m fine with moving, but if THEY (parks and Rec) would place the cards early every day they these, sometime tense, situations would be eliminated!

Cold as ice to me almost, name calling galore, and I am just trying to get a job! Have spent quality time playing, in many city parks. _especially basketball, you know. Have always cleaned up after myself, and I do not make a mess, although not perfect this year. I hated the litter, until I got used to it. And their are oil stains, in the parking lots. I think Grand Junction needs, to hire some personnel, for$10.50/hour, to clean up bus stops (G.V. transit ones), sidewalks, restore rock landscapes, and police to give tickets, if they spot a resident littering, or throwing a shake/ or Coke, on the rocks. There is a pollution problem, that our residents breathe, especially, at Grand, and 1st Avenue, (or Wal_Mart/North Street, u know). The parks are okay. We need to have their square area, permanently, u know what I mean. Person desires a few hours, of down time, in a park... Lincoln Park offers 8, or 9 things to do, including exercise options, and perfect swimming pool, in the summertime.

Why is it most of the parks have no basket ball hoops? My teen son likes to play basketball. We drove to Lincoln, Rocket, Sherwood Park and no basket ball court. It was disappointing.

I noticed the two biggest parks did, Canyon View and Longs Park had them, but this was a longer commute, and out of of our way.

Is it possible to place hoops at some of the other parks so that our teen kids have easier access to shoot hoops?
