The breakfast was light, elegant, tasty and well served. The pool with the circular path was very very enjoyable especially between 9am and 5 pm when the pumps are operated. The rooms were very comfortable and well cleaned.

There are just a couple suggestions to make the stay even better than it already was. Firstly the light in the room present in front of the bathroom would be better if I can turn it off at night for comfortable sleep. Secondly the beach can be private for the hotel. A private access is fine, but making an area of the beach owned by the hotel would be much more comfortable. Finally a couple hours could be for women in the morning, so that they can enjoy the waters safely.

High end hotel located at al khuwair beach - adding beauty to it. Beach walk, clean blue water sea giving options of sunbath, beach Swimming as well..... Swimming pool, big party halls, multi restaurants are names a few!

Never stayed here but witnessed they have quite big rooms and spacious .. I remember early days it was well maintained and very neat .. attended many parties and buffets all were wonderful experience .. it s a beach side hotel with lovely ambiance

Hotel is beautiful, best authentic decor for all of Muscat, staff are helpful, John Barry Bar looks and feels amazing but has average drink service, try it, but be cautious

A beachfront hotel in a stunning location, with swimming pool and palm trees garden, beach access. Staff very friendly, very attentive! Our rooms all had sea view, were spacious and large, beds very comfortable and bathroom very well equipped. The hotel also has several bars and restaurants. Also you can with the concierge of the hotel tours, taxi rides and the like book. So you are completely supplied! The stay was a dream!

the food is overrated, but it's one of the few 5 star hotel you have in oman.. try the bar at the pool side. they have one of the best burger in Town.

Decent hotel with big pool and many restaurants catering to different palate. Hotel often receive VIP guests so becareful when taking photos.

This is a comfortable, spacious and spectacularly decorated hotel at an ideal location in Muscat. The easy beach access, spacious swimming pool and resort-type facilities make this great for a vacation!

Hot water and airconditioning issues. Pool closes at 9pm on a Saturday night!

Had a day pass for the pool. Fab pool great value. However the poolside bar food was disappointing. The team were very responsive though and listened to our feedback and gave us a free mocktail.

Went there during a business trip and it was the first time for me to stay in the Hyatt

Luxury complex with a little busy exterior decors worthy of a Disney land decor but
which contributes to the charm of the establishment. Interior of the majestic hotel. On the other hand very average rooftop, had come for a drink around 10:30 pm and no atmosphere!

We performed in this place on the New Year. The most attentive general manager in the world. Comfortable and huge scene, very comfortable and elegant dressing room. Everything was rider and more. But the kitchen disappointed. And much. Only crabmeat and sweets were delicious. Sushi, beef were like yesterday. Or even older.

It's in the Heart of city, all foreign embassies are here and I love the beace at Grand Hyatt, it's the best beach of Quram

All was excellent and of the highest standard especially with Tariro Mudenga in attendance with the two Indonesian Chefs at the restaurant beside the pool. All staff made our stay there very welcoming!

During corona, so was fairly empty and quiet, but staff went out of their way to ensure what they could, was offered.

Good restaurant but expensive hotel and certainly not a 5 star one!

Great location and within close proximity to the beach.

Went for a brunch on a Friday. Good spread, less options though. Staff makes us feel at home. We opted for outside seats, but then the flies didnt allow us in peace. Shifted inside. The only issue I found is, nobody was able to explain the different sauces available in the spread.

Currently staying at this amazing hotel where nothing is too much trouble. Fabulous. You will not be dissapointed. From room service to concierge the service is faultless. I had beautiful flowers in my room today. Truly beautiful country and hotel I will definitely return to.

There food is average without that much of options. There saled section is poor while alot of there food is not that testy however there sweets section was very good with alot of options

Concierge services are poor.
Food very highly priced. E.g. The buffet costs RO 20/-. A Budweiser costs a whopping RO 4.500 per piece.
Mokha Cafe outlet food is low on variety...no vegetarian varieties at all...Food is not tasty...not worth the price.
The pool does not have life guards on duty...the lazy river current is strong even for an adult...
Rooms are good...spacious....
Bathrooms lack ventilation....bathroom fittings are very old...
To sum up....Poor for Hyatt standards.

I have been invited to dinner on Thursday night looking forward to dine there based on my previous great experience at this hotel, I was shocked how they reduced the varieties of the food and how many food stations they closed down, they had the barbecue outside which was absolutely empty. The sweets section was horrible with no taste if anything left there. We talked with the restaurant manager Vivian and complained to her but she didn t show any interest to improve anything or even show some care about our opinion. It s my worst ever experience and will make sure won t go there anytime soon.

Superb ambience. Nice beach view. Very professional ane supportive staff. Expensive but still 80-90% occupancy all the sessions.

Nice place for night life seekers. This place is along Al-Shatti beach and is good place to hangout in the evening.

Not really bad, but no pearl among the Grand Hyatt.

Quiet. Good location. Right at the Beach. Pleasant atmosphere. Very good cuisines, several restaurants. Friendly and clean.
