Good food, nice waiters, good atmosphere in the restaurant, the music a bit loud.

Top staff and great food! When we are in the hague we always eat here

The beers were fine and well priced, but almost 10 euros for the tastiest nachos I've ever had on my plate is nothing

Cozy place, friendly staff and a good selection of beers. Do not buy steak there like I did, though. Barely chewable, undercooked and no taste. Had some sauce and vegetables on the side, and this was also very tasteless. Seems like a nice place to have drinks.

Food was good, but they continue to serve alcohol even if people are already quite drunk

Nice restaurant the service friendly but the food, we had baked chicken, tasteless, although it looked delicious. The prices are higher than in Germany.

Staff can draw good beer, but has no idea what they serve. No knowledge of the map and its ingredients in general. Also very rude to the customer & English is slecht bar. Restaurant is nicely decorated.

Nice location. Good atmosphere. But like everything in the center of The Hague: just too expensive for what you get.

Wonderful terrace to sit down and enjoy the sun. Limited menu. Excessive prices for the location, almost no choice for vegans.

Food is tasty, service friendly. But it is unacceptable that you have to pay an extra 3.50 euros for a little fries with the burger (19 euros for burgers with fries - 26 euros for sea bass with a small bowl of vegetables). That smells like tricks you would expect at a 'tourist trap.

Up to 3 times we were told that what we ordered from the menu was empty ... very bad I think.

Ended up here with two friends to eat and drink a beer. Very good food with a very attentive and friendly service. Good price quality. Definitely recommended!

After not being helped by the neighbors for a while, moved to De Tijd and could immediately get a delicious beer from the nice wait staff.

Food was good, strange that main course was without side dishes.
Also seeing mice running around the shop is really impossible!

Cozy and beautiful bar but meat was very tough, passed 2 times after I got the question whether it tasted however they looked surprised and gave no further reaction. Nice to drink but food was very mediocre.

Super nice staff, very helpful. My friend's egg was stolen by a seagull and they brought a new one. The food is also very tasty, the seagull thought so too.

Delicious eaten extremely friendly service. I even charged my phone so I could search for the train times for the return trip.

Nice atmosphere, good cafe to have a drink if you want to sit at a table or at the bar. Music but not dominating. Specialty beer and cocktails.

Delicious grilled meat for a normal price. In a nice location

A perfect combination of location, good ambience, great service, and variety of nice food come all together for this Restaurant, De Tijd has it all.
When you enter you are greeted by Lovely team of staff and they are as warm as the interior which has a eclectic wonderful mix of wooden floors and brick walls, many different wine storage displays and a mirror ball it's really quite lovely.
The tables are a good size and the seating comfortable. There s plenty of seating of different types and Covid measures are in full use and display. Out side there s a modern and huge terrace area with a all covered awning. Perfect for those lovely summer evenings. But just as cosy I m sure in winter.
Overall whilst this is not my number one go to restaurant, in Den Haag, this place is very good and worth a visit, brunch, lunch or dinner I m sure you ll have a lovely time.

Bad steak ever. Well done (asked for medium) dry and grainy.for 19.95 nothing there except a much too spicy sauce ..

Disadvantage that the toilet is upstairs and difficult to maneuver through tables and chairs without a walker. Impossible with my walker I think.
We also drank a nice cup of English / breakfast tea.
This is no longer possible at many food and beverage outlets. Flavors or earl gray which I don't like.

Very good food, prices and quality was good. My boyfriend, a real meat eater, had a plattern of mixed meats for 2 persons for 24,50 and I -a vegetarian, yes in a steakhouse- had a very good portobello! Nice personnel and interior.

Excellent food. Friendly staff and quality meat. Possibility to eat outside on the terrace with terrace heating. Here too the black angus type but really delicious meat.

A great cafe on the square in The Hague. It is a pity that it is teeming with wasps and nothing is done about it.

Cozy new grand cafe on the square opposite the government buildings. Surprising card and fun service.

First of all the people that work there are really friendly, and they have definitely tried their best patching up mistakes, i also work in catering so i know how hard it is...... However the food is definitely overpriced, some of it came to the table cold and the menu advertised food in such a way that it sounded 10 times beter then what it actually was, i would never go here again, but i guess none will since its in Den Haag and its full of tourists anyway and people only coming for short stays, because of this i don't expect any changes...............

This establishment has a cozy and informal design. There is a nice assortment of beers, but having a nice lunch is no problem either. The service is smooth and friendly.
