Grand Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve (NERR) Review

I did not visit the reserve center so I cannot review that. I also visited before Hurricane Nate, so I'm not sure how the storm affected the launch and pier. I will visit again to see what is different. I loved the facilities here, the fish camp at the launch has adult drinks here so you don't have to tote along too much stuff. This may become a regular spot. I like it.

We only use the boat launching area to access the bayou but we love getting out to go fishing and bird watching.

Always love getting out in nature, hiking was fun almost 3 miles today.

Note that only the 1,000 foot boardwalk is open. The 1 mile loop trail is effectively inaccessible: it has branches across it, mud, and knee-high grass.

I attended a training session here and it is a beautiful venue.
