I've had family members put in this hospital and they were not treated right. The people here don't seem to know how to actually care for their patients. Now we all know not to ever go here for any medical help.
Literally killed a family member of ours and terrified our sick child who had never had an IV - the nurse jabbed at him recklessly with no warning (he was 5!!) and when he screamed and tried to pull away (like any 5 yr old would who had no idea what was going on) she nastily said "Well great now you just went and gave yourself a hematoma!" Really??
Pretty worthless hospital. Especially for what it costs this town in taxes too! Drive anywhere but here - Cooks is top notch for kids!!
Be careful going here. Most of the 5 star ratings were made at the same time by reviewers with only one review and nothing else on their profiles. Seems like someone is trying to spam 5 stars.
Do not go here if you are pregnant. I was 35 weeks and my placenta erupted and when i got there my son had a heart beat and could of been saved if they would of been trained for emergency ob procedures. Instead I laid there for 2 hours. Waiting on them to prep a surgery room. My doctor did everything in his power to tell them instructions on what to do so he could get me into surgery right when he arrived. But they couldn t even manage that. instead I lost my son and almost lost my life. Because they didn t know what to do in the emergency room in a emergency situation.. My advice would be to drive right past this place if you have any kind of emergency pregnancy issues.
Horrible. Never again. Two nurses out of the entire staff may have cared about my wellbeing. Can I leave 0 stars, please?
On May 10 2021 I brought my friend who was exhibiting alarming symptoms into the emergency room. The staff within two hours diagnosed a serious medical condition which required transport to a large medical facility. They worked with us to get her transported to our desired hospital where her doctors practiced and her medical records were available. The staff was very attentive to our needs and she is now nearing full recovery. I was very pleased with the service that we received at Graham Medical Center.
Brought my cousin here from wichita falls for surgery. Literally the most nicest people I have met each individual has been patient and just so kind!
Took my 2 month old son to the ER because he was wheezing. Doctor said he looked and sounded fine, but the chest X-ray showed bilateral pneumonia. He transferred us via ambulance to Cook Children s in FW. The doctor there took one look at the X-ray and said, This is blurry. He should not have been diagnosed from this. They retook the X-ray, and his lungs were clear. My 2 month old son had to get needless medical treatment that caused him unnecessary pain simply because the doctors here don t know how to read an X-ray and don t have the good sense to order a new X-ray if the one they have is blurry.
I called GRMC to dispute the part of our bill that was unnecessary- they claimed no fault. They said the X-ray clearly showed pneumonia, and they agreed that he needed to be transferred. I asked if they d talked to Cook Children s about that since they clearly disagreed, and they said no. Unbelievable that I had to pay a bill for a misdiagnosis, and the hospital takes absolutely no responsibility.
I will never go here again. It is a shame that I cannot trust our local hospital to be competent.
They don t care about people they just care about money.
