Grafisch Lyceum Rotterdam Review

First year started interesting and fun, 2nd year started quietly no information was given about the important things such as internship and exams so we missed a lot. After the Christmas holidays, hurried information was given about the internship components. In the last few months it seemed as if they panicked that too few figures had been given because we suddenly got so much work in a few weeks that some of my acquaintances stopped. It is clear that they cannot handle the transition from 4 to 3 year training.

3 year training is chaotic and heavy. You have to get the best out of it and be motivated. After three years, I don't think many have the feeling that they have enough knowledge / skills to find a job or start for themselves. Varies per student. That is why many continue to study or do something else. Done graphic design training yourself.

nice place to get the starting knowledge about software, unfortunately you do not learn enough to enter the business world, you have to do this on your own initiative. many lecturers are also subject people and not lecturers .. so there is no right way to teach. Also, many teachers do not follow the "work flow" (readers) and the interpretation of the lesson is thought up by the teacher himself .. a bit mediocre for an MBO.

In addition, I have been out of school for 1 year and together with people who have been out of school for a long time, we continue to be emailed and texted in our opinion about the school. hereby a public review.

4 great years. I actually miss the time at the GLR.

One of the finest MBO schools in the Netherlands. Of course many things could be improved, but the GLR does ensure safety. You can also be whoever you want to be.

It is a beautiful school where the creative field with regard to jobs is well offered. Communicate yourself with teachers / students / whoever you need, then your problems will be solved.

It is a great school. Until you have a private problem. Then everything happens that is not allowed by teachers and the like of photography training.

Have a nice time here as a student! Sound study, that gives you the space to develop yourself, the teachers are also decent. I can recommend this school.

Large more than a lot of students there is plenty to do

Nice school with various graphic courses in the field of design, multimedia and much more. Hope students from different regions which gives a great diversity.

Very irresponsible school outdated readers and teachers find the material that the students learn no "Priority" at the moment 27 degrees no air conditioning full room of 64 people where all macs are on and do not even have the opportunity to cool down but just until 17: 15 works

Super nice school with all unique relaxed and above all creative people. Fun assignments in the lessons focused on practice. The transition from 4 to 3 years has caused some confusion in the school system. Nice building, cozy rooms and teachers. In the first year it will be equally difficult, the transition from high school to the GLR is great, although that is also the case with any other program. After you get used to it you don't want anything else :)

Nice school just a lot of weird figures, just think of purple and blue hair and many other things.

If you want to go to school here, keep in mind that once you have graduated you will be spammed every six months or you want to fill in a questionnaire with what you are doing nowadays. The longer you avoid this questionnaire, the worse the spam becomes. I now even receive text messages that I cannot block.

School with a lot of financial resources, that is what they are proud of and that can certainly be seen in the facilities they offer such as good material to work with. However, communication with this school is sad. E-mails are not responded to, solutions are not sought and no one has ever heard of the word "customization" at the GLR! Students are given far too much time for assignments, so that boredom strikes and a lot of time is wasted. Too bad, missed opportunity. GLR has a good reputation within MBO, in our opinion a disappointing educational institution !!!

Twee uur aan de telefoon gehangen om te vragen waarneer haar schooldag begint en vragen hoe ze kan inloggen op haar persoonlijke site,krijg nu onveilige pagina in beeld goed begin van een spannende volgende stap van mijn dochter. Eerts 1wachtende voor u daarna nog twee uur in de wacht gehangen en nog geen antwoord op de vragen die ik wou stellen zie maandag wel weer.eerste indruk van deze niewe school,zeer slecht bereikbaar

Graphic lyceum is a really great school. You will have the best school time of your life here!

Good school but very poor account of dyslexia! + you have no air conditioning so you can almost cook in your own room with all those Imac's on! and oh yes, Bad readers that do not connect well

Top school! You can be creative and completely yourself. Sometimes things are unclear, but if you go after it yourself and have a real interest in the profession, you will learn a lot!

That is my favorite school I want to be at this school ever for years I was a souvenir at this school and the art and video making and technique and much better for me than at Special Education at Rotterdam College that Handicap school

Worst school ever. Students are accused of everything - even if there'd be something simple as a fire. Exam grades (English lng particularly) are not stored throughout the year so don't be surprised if you have to do the exam twice in the last year. Building looks big but inside you cannot even go to the canteen because it's extremely small.

The best school where you can study, good lessons and great guidance.

It was ok ... In terms of teaching material weak ...

Certainly a nice school with nice teachers and students, but please think about your future (and not how nice, cozy and easy your education is) and do not go for a graphic profession. I also succeeded at the glr 10 years ago and for 10 years I have experienced nothing but reorganisations for bankruptcies, and contracts that are not being extended, and pay attention because I have done everything..dtp-en, heidelberg offset printer, post-processor and now bookbinder too !! Do you still want to go for a graphic profession? Then you make a chance in Germany and in Belgium .. here in NL it has completely broke down over the past 10 years. Good luck!

I finished it for my second study and I am not bothered by annoying teachers and students. Easy to get around the building (you can use the lifts). On the website for the students works well can see which activities are coming and your timetable has an easy overview. They have good equipment to work with. Own equipment is also allowed to take and use in the lessons. They also have a floor where you can send your design so that they can prepare stickers, books, large posters, 3d designs and more for you for a low price.
