1st off I have to say I love my job but...respect OR employee service is not a priority for this company at least not in TN. An employee shouldn't have to continuously call HR and ask to have their call returned 5 times over a few day period. To this moment I still have not received a return call from HR to answer a question about my tax form. It appears they are not concerned..very disheartening.

Delaware North ran the concessions and park services in Yosemite into the ground then is holding the traditional names of the Ahwahnee Hotel hostage for a money grab. The names of Curry village and the Ahwahnee Hotel are a part of our national heritage and shouldn't be kidnapped for ransom as this company has done.

Their handling of the amenities in Yosemite was poor but their actions since are detestable.

This is one of the worst companies to work for. If you have a health condition that you need to eat the hr manager screams and yells at you for going and getting food but she's the first one in line to fill her gut. You can be there hours before she gets there but you can't eat. I worked for a year for them in Seattle and they are so bad that we went through 15 office staff in a year, the staff quit because of her. I quit and she passed rumors around 2 weeks after I left saying saying she fired me. I even send all sorts of documentation to Buffalo(main office) but they did absolutely NOTHING. To them it's great the way they treat employees like dirt. You couldn't pay me to work for them or go to any food venue they are involved in.

I was a recent tourist at Yosemite National Park, where Delaware North manages all the food and lodging concessions. I stayed at one hotel and ate at three restaurants in the park during my most recent visit in May 2013. I am disheartened by the steady decline in value and customer service at Yosemite over the last several years. For $153 per night for a room with shared bath, I believe I had a right to expect my room to be cleaned and my bed made, and I believe I deserved more than a brusque and perfunctory "I'll call housekeeping" in response. I also believe that it should not take thirty minutes to track down a hair dryer (perhaps putting them in the rooms might help?) and that coffee and tea urns should not be perpetually empty at 8:00 a.m. Food at ALL Yosemite restaurants is dated, bland, overpriced and uninspired. It's old-fashioned, "least common denominator" continental cuisine. Staff at both hotels and restaurants tend toward dispirited, rough-around-the-edges, and "can't be bothered". A park as magnificent as Yosemite deserves fresh, upbeat food and service. THIS I would understand paying "park prices" for. But, Delaware North, you're just not delivering in Yosemite. It's time to dust off the cobwebs and really clean house.

I worked for Delaware North for several summers, one of the worst employers. Many women were sexually harassed by superiors. They were scolded and looked down upon for filing reports on the behavior. Employees leave before their contract ends because of these conditions. They are all about getting as much as they can and paying the absolute least. Human resources is a joke. They don't care about the employees or the client. They are just here for the money. Customer service is not a top priority for this company. The people in management are spineless creatures lacking integrity. They go behind the client's back to shortchange them around every corner.

These people are crooked and greedy. They own some chain restaurants as well as food vendors at sports games and other venues in the area. They refuse to accept company coupons (they own a tim hortons in a rest stop near Henrietta and they dont take tim hortons coupons ) the food at events is terrible. Bland, poor quality and over priced. But you have no other choice because they have a monopoly at many places in buffalo. They need to use any dignity they have left and just put themselves down.

The greedy bastards at Delaware North are trying to extort 51 million dollars from the American Public by trying to trademark the century old names of facilities at Yosemite.

They want the money for what they claim is "intellectual property"

They must be stopped. Let's organise social media to fight these slope-headed, knuckle-dragging neaderthals!

I am a former employee at Delaware North Corporation in Austin. This is the worst companie I have ever worked for. The management could care less about the employees, the union is a bunch of crooks. The union is composed of bartenders who are solely out for themselves and don't care about employees in the union. This company needs to go out of business permanently.

ever been forced to overpay for mediocre food at a ballgame or airport? that's b/c DN has a monopoly on concessions there! thanks delaware north! also, their headquarters looks sparkly. that's cool. but they bullied the county to handing over huge taxbreaks to get them to stay in town. they got buffalo roots but don't have many hangups about bending buffalo taxpayers over the barrel. meh.
