My husband and I were "homeless" for 8 years until we found our church home at Grace Chapel. We've attended for 5.5 years now. From the day we got there it was like a domino effect showing us this was the right place for our family. It started with the nursery worker who was also the director of childcare at the time. She went out of her way to ensure my husband and I were OK with leaving our kiddos. Since our twins had been seriously ill just a couple months earlier she was very sensitive to that. She actually came into service and discreetly let us know that our daughter was "just fine" after putting up such a fight when we left. The next piece was the head pastor himself, Pastor Z as he is called. He is more like a friend to the congregation than a "big whig" leader. His sermons are very bible-based, almost never talk about giving (although that does happen to be the topic for the first time in ages at the moment!), and he infuses both every-man stories and humor along with the profound. We loved his style early on. Next was the family and marriage pastor. He, along with his wife, are a team committed to making sure the families of Grace stay strong They have developed programs specific to our congregation in order to help families grow in the Lord not just at church but all throughout the year. The worship pastor has an incredible heart for worshipping; he directs the church choir during the school year and a very dynamic Christmas program every year. Although there is a band and a worship team it doesn't feel ultra-showy, so to speak. The worship is very sincere. No church is perfect but Grace Chapel has met our family's need to community and spiritual growth.

Well, I could not recommend this church to anyone. I do agree that when you first start going you will be greeted by friendly people, but this will not last. If you only care about meeting people, then go to a roller rink. If you want a place to worship the Lord and praise Him and to hear His Word preached, then this is not the place. There may be a church in that building, but the leadership does not put the Word of God first. They run that place like a business. Money is there primary concern. I suppose it all depends on what you are looking for. RESPONSE TO THE CHURCH OWNER Well Sean, No. I had gone there for years. And it was not a sermon that showed me that your church leadership only cares about money. And no, I did not get your church confused with another one. I know very well that it is yours. Regardless of what you wish your church to be; it is not that. For example, your services have dwindled in quality and size over the years due to not putting much money back into the church services. You used to have a food pantry there and it got removed. I heard stories regarding it such as: We removed it because no one who used it went to church there . Well the Bible doesn t say to only help people who go to your church. And that it was removed because no one would volunteer to work the food pantry. Well that can t be true. I would have volunteered to work the food pantry. Over the years I have noticed that you do not consistently have the same preacher preaching. Many times you will have under trained people preaching. They will end their prayers without using the name of Jesus. I cannot comment on you yourself. I do not know you. But there is quite a bit of: compromising on the Word of God going on there. If you feel offended at what I just said, well all I can say about that is that it is me: standing up for the word of God unashamedly. I am not going to call your church just to get caught into a voicemail labyrinth or to get filtered by your receptionist. But if someday you want to meet in a neutral place for coffee, I would be willing to do that.

The subject we all need in these perilous times. "An Evening of Hope" Immaculee Ilibagiza brought her story of forgiveness to the forefront which is what we all as a human race will have to do and have beyond ourselves. Because of lost lives everyday, people ask why. The answer is pretty simple the change is harder if you fail to see beyond yourself. The world does not want to grasp Truth. So it tries to make since out of it by saying it all is mental health issues. If that's the case then every human being is guilty of all this evil. And guess what, we are guilty. But the Living God gave a gift, the Way out. His name is Jesus Christ. As long as this earth does not repent and come back to God. Then satan will have his spirit over the earth til Jesus comes back. HE IS COMING BACK. So individually everyone who is capable of thinking for himself or herself will answer for your whole life. So I implore you to take heed of these words. Wether you believe or not you will be at the judgement thrown. Be ready. He is the Hope and Forgiveness for the whole world but you have to choose Him. May those who have ears to hear and heart to receive, then do.

Grace Chapel is one of those rare places where Christians from many different backgrounds can feel at home. Be sure to try one of the adult classes and get to know some wonderful people on an even friendlier basis. For a larger church, Grace Chapel really does have it all. Best worship experience, best expository sermon from the Word, and best people to people experience bar none.
