Govanhill Baths Community Trust Review

Beautiful old swimming pool. Hope this place gets the renovation it deserves. These sorts of places can be at the heart of communities. Support them!

Don't think this place will ever open again as baths however much money is put in

Closed as swimming baths for many years, the small pool recently saw water for the first time since the closure. Often used for arts events, and even raves, a visit to the baths will touch you with the infectious community spirit of the 'Save our Pool' campaign and its team.

Slowly but surely the baths are getting reused. Not much to do jus yet but staff ate working on making it a more popular place for the community. Children's swimming started but was no good to my children as we were not from the area let me down otherwise was ok

For govanhill having bad name the baths are very nice and reasonable price for amenities

I personally naver visited this place, but often went passed either on foot or on bus. To assessment it's nice place for local people living around Calder street Victoria Road Glasgow.

Great place helpful staff they do a lot for the community I volunteer here at the archery club

Good food. Reasonable prices. Staff are excellent and friendly.

Great to see the place back in the community ownership but needs to get better projects that will make bigger impact

This community hub is such asset to the community in many ways and being inclusive in our multicultural society of Govanhill Glasgow , well done to the workers funders and organisers !

Seen a great exhibition as part of the 2017 sonica festival at the govanhill baths today. The venue was as friendly and as raw as ever, perfect setting to see Nelo Akamatsu and others. Also a great space for live performance theatre etc. Bring a coat as it s a little chilly sometimes!

Nice flowers. Only one pool decorated, the middle sized one which was not very wheelchair accessible

Excellent baby swimming lessons in the baby pool. The instructor Car is brilliant with the children and makes you and the little one confident in the water. The price of the lessons are super cheap compared to the likes of water babies etc. There is also space to spectate.

Great to see this place in the hands of the local community.

Great to see it and get photos before the renovation, look forward to seeing it again after refurbishment
