Goodwill Omaha Review

Its ok.. not the best goodwill they need more clothes bins and when you first arrive you need 2 things... A mask and gloves. 2nd thing is its all random bins of misc stuff. So if you enjoy treasure hunts this is for you but if you simply looking for simple stuff like clothes go to another goodwill location honestly hence why 4 stars this location

The people that work there are extremely rude. And when you call to speak with a manager you get put on hold forever. You don't even get to leave voicemail. I would never go back and I would not recommend this place to anybody.

I always find some treasure there. Some small like the painted pinecones and some larger like the beautiful mirror.

I don't think people should be paying for the weight of a shopping cart. I bought some 45's and the cost of the shopping cart was a more than the 45's. Someone needs to start a class action lawsuit against them. You shouldn't have to pay for the weight of the shopping cart for the simple fact is YOU ARE NOT BUYING THE SHOPPING CART.

Crazy people pushing to get at new containers of products. Lots of different merchandise.

It's fun to rummage through and find that diamond in the rough but be ready for the other customers to be very rude and pushy. It hasn't stopped me from going but I'm just waiting for the time that end up getting me and someone being too pushy banned from returning. Good luck!

Not a typical Goodwill store, you buy stuff by the pound. And by stuff I mean literally trash.

Great place to find stuff if you are willing to hunt for it. Great people here

Not my type of shopping but there are many great finds time to time and usually the staff are knowledgeable about most of the items. The second hand clothing gives a great way for ppl to acquire outfits and clothing in general.

Hello, welcome to the Goodwill Wearhouse, a misogynistic hell-hole if I've ever seen one. This place is the definition of a "boy's club" filled to the brim with hateful right wing a-holes will always give you a second look if your bust is nice enough. That's not just the customers, but some of the guys that work in the back are like that too, and it doesn't seem like anything is being done about it. All they sell here is trash and it is not worth coming here at all, even if you just want to be oggled at.

It's nice if you like to go hunting for things. Kind of like dumpster diving but, you pay for it.

Amazing Company and GoodBytes has all my needs from server computers too Gaming Systems they have almost every device you can think of refurbished and working in top notch shape and condition. Ive found tons of video games consoles controllers all a super reasonable price!! I 100% percent recommend this place as the prices are LOW!! GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

How could you not love this place? I get books for 50 cents. A practically new curio cabinet for 20. Your trash is the creative worlds treasure.

It is a little difficult to find things, it is somewhat messy !! But they are very kind !!

The most terrifying experience of my life... and I have been to Afghanistan. I am about 100% certain 3x people died while we were there. Would rather go back to Afghanistan than experience these "bins" again.

There are all these bins and u look through them to see what u want and then u pay by the weight... once u go there u will keep going no stpp

Peso to start off this is a really good place to get cheap stuff before it goes into the regular stores is kind of like a distribution Center for stuff that wasn't sold they do things by weight so if you look at things or light like pillows and blankets you might pay a little bit more than what they're actually worth like I had to pay kind of like $7 for a pill that's used which isn't really all that great of a deal but everything else if you look at it it's by weight you have to hurry up. They're certain I'll pick what you want and then they just weigh it and then you just pay for the weight of everything that's different weights for different things but I had a lot of fun got a few pillows and stuff for about 8 bucks nine bucks and I'll to get about 15 bucks not a bad deal

Holy stuff. Pay by the pound. It's intense. Bring gloves.

I'm stuck as I write this. For 1) There are lots of "hidden" surprised here. Some can be valuable. 2) Alot of it is just junk.

This place is A joke. I have found better items in the trash dump or laying on the curb. Rude employees.

Slow staff. They don't seem to care about the customers.

Wasn't sure about this place. With the name WAREHOUSE IN the name its misleading they ONLY have electronics no clothes or housewares.

Prices are reasonable, Staff is nice, and for the most part they keep the bins full, and the place clean.

This place should be shut down. They leave sharp dangerous items such as knives and broken glass in bins that people dig through. The staff is incredibly rude and disrespectful to the customers. The prices are outrageous. They take old junk that would not sell in a regular Goodwill then throw it in a bin and make you pay by weight. There was a stereo I was interested in that still had the price of $3.99 from the regular Goodwill. But by charging by weight, it raised the price to $12. This place is a giant ripoff.

It was very nice I like it but some people smell very bad and try to steal vintage

Come here if you want to get yelled at by employees while trying to shop. This is not a place you want to do any kind of shopping. Stay far away from it!

Good selection -- just remember to wash your hands afterward, as you *will* have to really rummage through stuff. Aisle closures didn't go very well because their loudspeaker system is terrible, so pay close attention to that. However, I got a lot of good stuff -- good deals too, but I made the mistake of not going past 20 lbs. of stuff.

I've been to several of the goodwill outlets between Minnesota, Missouri, Iowa and Nebraska. In comparison to those I've been to:
-This location had a much larger selection of beds/bed frames etc, large exercise equipment, lawn mowers/snow blowers and furniture then any of the others I've been to.
-There were almost no clothes. The occasional clothing item mixed in with everything else in the bins here and there but *when I was there* there were no bins of just clothing which at all the other locations I've been to clothing was 3 bins to every 1 bin of anything else.
-I was there late afternoon about 3 hours before closing and it was not busy at all. Maybe 20-30 other people there.
-bulk pricing just like all the others.
-it was easy to get to & see from the street. Seemed to have plenty of parking but again I went when it wasn't crowded so can't say if there's enough parking during its busy hours.
-as for what I found in the bins? Same quality and cleanliness as every single other one. Never know what you're going to find (good or dirty haha)
-staff was friendly when I checked out.

Overall if I was back in town I would visit again and I would recommend this location to others interested in going to 'the bins'.

Shopped and was assisted by a Ms. Charity, she took time out when she was real busy to help and answer questions. I felt that was so sincere and kind, they appeared to be short staffed but she came across the store to help a second time! I'm grateful for the very reasonable prices and helpful staff, their all very kind and thank you Charity for suggesting Goodwill discount card, it was greatly appreciated. I will return here, your AWESOME!!!

You can find some gems in here if you are patient enough for a steal. The people are very kind and will help you if you need anything.

I could give you a list of employees to keep. It's be short. As the day goes on it gets worse, the process, the product, the service, ugh... I used to enjoy being here.

I had a slow guy try to start a fight with me , I didnt know you could NOT touch any random OR abandoned cart but I did find great finds and a $20 bill in the pocket too

If you like bargain shopping this is the place to go. Everything from soup to nuts.

I love this place! You never know what you are going to find! Yes, there is trash, broken items in the blue "bins". BUT there is also some amazing items! If im needing an item like I needed a radio for my bathroom the other day, I knew I would find one here & a few days later I DID! Payed about $1.oo for it. Works great & looks great! Plan on being here for a couple hours at least. Im polite but some others are not. I concentrate on looking at items & not the people. All types of people here. Give this store a chance!

Weirdest experience. I felt like a fool the entire time I was there. This place seems like more for pros at resale.

I just went in with my kids and they told me to leave because no one allowed under 16 due to COVID-19 . I think that s ridiculous it s a store like any other IM NOT GOING BACK

A great location to make and receive charitable donations and contribution.

You just gotta be in the right place at the right time. Sometimes those blue bins get wheeled out and they're full of treasures, and sometimes it's all VHS tapes and broken toys. Either way, the price is right and most often I can find something that makes my stop worthwhile. This is not the place to go if you are looking for something specific.

The bins are great. Employees are.ok..customers not so much

Associates happy to help. Gloves required. Gloves were provided but you re much better off bringing your own pair for a better fit.

Laziest cashier cashiers I've seen in my whole life. Cashier made me walk over and weigh the item myself. You're the one working we're the ones donating items and paying for them. I've seen people have to get their own cart to weigh items. Very terrible customer service. I've never seen an establishment that requires customers to do work in order to pay their items. very lazy

It is my favorite place to shop. Tammie, Robert and Jacob are great, so helpful. You have to have patience or do not bother going. The way this runs is you look thru large bins for great finds cheap. I am addicted and love it there. Never a bad experience except for nonEnglish speaking families letting small kids run wild.
