Best casino in Tunica. The place is nice and clean.

Best of the casinos and hotels left in Tunica. New buffet is pretty good, but as a whole Tunica seems to be drying up and going away.

Clean, cheap, and very nice!! All the people who work here are so accommodating and actually care. They are helpful and very polite! Had a great 3 day stay!!

I loved the property, but I came with kids. I feel the 18 or older rule for the pool is too much. It doesn't leave much for them to do. I understand it's a casino first, but even with that they brought their xbox one and hdmi cords and they couldn't connect it due to them not wanting the tvs to "blow up". If there was something or somewhere kids could go (accompanied with an 18+ person) it would get five stars.

We upgraded to a suite and it is wonderful. Everyone is extremely nice! Our first night we ate at the Chicago Steakhouse, and it was like a dream. A+++

If you are looking for a great meal then the buffet on Friday nights is pretty good. They serve seafood and other items from different perspectives. My wife and I mainly go because of the crab legs, which she loves, but there are plenty of other items to choose from. The staff is friendly and they serve wine as an included perk in the price of the meal. Speaking of the price... That is my only knock. It is quite expensive for a couple of adults to eat but if you are looking to switch things up and not necessarily looking for "upscale" then Gold Strike is a good choice.

Friendly staff. Great food options @ buffet. Rooms need to be updated. More updated options in casino. Would love to be able to order a drink from the slot machine versus having to chase down a waitress.

Went for the seafood buffet. Abundace of ootiins but I solely focused on crab, snow and dungenous, as well as shrimp. Good quality overall, however the snow crab was SOOO salty. Dont know if it was a fluke or the way it is, though my in laws also said much of what the ate, non seafood, was pretty salty as well. The dungenous was perfect. Staff is polite though never give you the right of way when walking around and insist on mopping right where you are standing. Fountain machine was not working which was unfortunate considering the salt level. Quantity is perfect quality is good. Will probably only go back if I have out of town guests hungry for crab.

Been there 3 years ago it was bad. Tried to go again to see if it was different. It wasn't. Won't go again

The room was completely wrong and they would not make it right. Many of the staff were rude and short with customers. I've been coming here for years and this was the worst experience we've ever had. Usually it's great , hope they make some changes to get back to the quality they use to have.

The casino industry in Tunica has lost its glamour for me. The bathrooms were dirty, they were out of paper towels , some of the bathrooms didnt have tissue and the garbage cans were running over! It was a terrible experience

Nice clean rooms in the hotel plus a lot of fun gaming machines and a good selection of tables as well.

Solid Vegas experience. As an avid slot jockey, I was in my element cruising the floor and looking for my preferred type of reels. Slots feel a little less forgiving than in some other places, but thems the breaks sometimes. Overall, good times.

The hotels room is nice and clean an the employees is very nice

For a M-life property this is pretty mediocre, but for being in the middle of nowhere Mississippi this is a must visit if you are nearby. They have all the gaming tables and slot machines that you might find in Vegas. The problem is the hotel is old. It needs updating. Needs more food choices. More experienced dealers. Even the main lobby is from the 1980s.

Gold strike was cool, but they didn't come and clean the room up, but they brought clean towels when ask for them. The room was filthy dirty. Other than that I enjoyed my stay otherwise.

No complaints. No problems with the room. Enjoyed myself as well as the wife.

Very nice casino with two floors of gaming ( slots and tables), second floor is non-smoking. We had fun gambling, and the wait staff were pleasant and regularly came by for drink orders. I went to the main cage to get another player card, after waiting for more than twenty minutes (there was one person in line and three cashiers) the associate politely informed me that I would have to go to the table games and ask a pit boss to print me a card. Thankfully it didn't take long to get a pit boss. While there we visited the fast food restaurant (the buffet and other restaurant were closed at the time) but didn't order since they were only serving breakfast items.

Everyone was very pleasant. Food was good. Playing was good. Spa was nice, had a massage which was very, don't waste your money on the facial, way too much money for what they do.

This is a very nice Casino as far as casinos go. Personally I just cannot handle casinos due to my sensitivity to cigarette smoke. Gold Strike does do a decent job to mitigate some of the smell in such a large venue and does have a no-smoking section for gaming upstairs.

My only thing is that smoke rises and therefore I think it should be reversed. The smoking section should be upstairs. I guess its a numbers game and the high rollers and majority of gamblers are smokers so why make them inconvenienced by having to go upstairs.

The Steakhouse in Gold Strike is unbelievable!! No smoking of course, and the ambience is wonderful! Great lighting,...dark paneling,....impeccable service.....and the food is fantastic! The Crab legs are absolutely huge and full of flavor. The Filet Mignon is stellar.

The prices are incredibly expensive but our dinner was comp'd thanks to my brother in law who had his Player's card ready at hand.

Fun place but it seems locked down now. Never win there and all the large jackpots have never hit on some machines. Been going there for 15+ yrs. And seen some jackpot machines build and build. Never hit then then they pull the machines out.

Update - 2/18 - Was up there just the other night. Right after this post and low and behold. Someone hit the Grand Jackpot on their new Diamonds game. It was at 720k. The machines have only been in a couple of weeks. Lucky person that was.

This was me and my husband first time coming to Gold Strike Casino. And I must say signing up for rewards was easy and fast thanks to Brian. We also ate at the American Buffet while we was there and my husband left his phone. We didn't notice until the next morning when we were home. Called my husband phone and it was with security. I must say I was really shock that we was able to get it back. Honest hard working ppl is where I wanna spend my money that phone could have easily just disappear and no one would have said nothing but they turned it in to make sure my husband got it back. Thanks for just being honest and the great customer service you guys offer.

I went to try the sportsbook. First time trying a legal sportsbook and I was slightly disappointed. They would not let me buy points. You also don't get a single free drink even if you have a ticket with your bet amount on it, while people in the casino do even they spend less than you. On the good side, you do get your money right then and there. My verdict is I prefer gambling on sports from the convenience of my home, more and bettor ways to gamble, but your money is less secure.
