I love this gym, its really friendly, and the machines are always available. The classes are really good especially the group core, I love it.

Nicely placed in the plaza, Golds Gym has so many options and choices to exercise on. I prefer it over Planet Fitness (can't yell or have water gallons on the floor at PF and pizza night there should be a joke but is sadly real). I love this place! The only gym were everyone is here to work towards their goal and not to just talk and show off... the trainers know theid stuff! Always a aila le to help and dont mind giving tips.. overall for me its the best gym!!!

One of the best gyms I have ever been to; in terms of professionalism, equipment selection, and Cleanliness this is the gym to go. Finally, this is a gym for serious people; not too much socialization going on.

Working out at Golds gym Lawrenceville Georgia has give me new goals to reach great people and awesome trainer John. John has raised the bar for my confidence and has built my strength better than I have ever been. I am a former US Marine and played major sports. At 57 years old I have got my mojo back lol. Great job Golds gym.

Positives: Generally friendly, fairly well equipped gym. Reasonable price. Negatives: Can be a bit crowded Often inappropriately excessively violent movies in cardio-cinema. This gym is not better business bureau accredited. I looked up ABC's Financial Services consumer report feedback and it was poor and 1 of 5 stars.... lowest mark possible... Inflexible management both at golds and abc. was disappointed how inflexible the billing company and the management was when I moved. They would not accept reasonable documents like job offers, job acceptance letters, start date letter, other business correspondence, business itinerary, etc etc meaningful documents, but would accept a meaningless document showing my regular monthly out of state utilities that would not show I moved and wouldn't budge on accepting the meaningful documents.... it's like they pick documents that take extra time to get to squeeze out extra months of billing... I really don't want to deal with people who engage in deceptive business practices.... I am very disappointed at the unwillingness of gold's management to fix or acknowledge this as broken and consider it deceptive and even criminal business practice. Very disappointed If someone in the business world was as confused as the gold's manager I spoke to they would be replaced. She heard the document asked for was meaningless. She heard that they would accept a meaningless document. It's nuts. She showed no willingness to even raise the problem in the policy to Gold's as problematic and that's sad. I also have lost money in the machines there which didn't return change and the front desk had no policy for what to do. I had that both with cash and credit cards. This gym is fairly friendly, but the way they handle moving is probably a form of consumer fraud I am dissapointed with the management there

Great gym, I drive 30 minutes to come here because they have the best equipment and crowd for people who are serious about weightlifting, they offer lots of classes too.

Love My Gym! Classes are kick butt. I ll never miss Chrissy s Barre classes, they are addicting! They make you love working out and I see results fast than any other workout. Tyler helped me set up my first gym membership ever and talked me through everything. Elaina is always answering my questions and helping me if I don t know something. I just wish I had more time out of my day to get back to the Gym!

One of the best gyms that I have been to in a long time.. coming up on my year with them and with my personal trainer. U should come and get you one they are dedicated to get what you want and need together and will help you succeed. If you think that s not enough they are doing so many changes in the gym from adding new machines more space a very good new look for them. Ropes tires basketball weights what more do you need from your gym. If you don t believe me just come try on the buddy pass guaranteed u will stay. Don t say I ain t warn u. Lol

They make it impossible to get out of contract, you literally have to call another company and also send an email. The staff makes it a goose chase to even find out how to get out of contract. Be advised even if your contracts ends it is thrown on auto-renewal. There is nothing Gold about this gym

I ve loved my experience at this location. Everyone from the staff to the members are enjoyable. They offer a variety of equipment and I love that they offer to make your protein shakes free of charge if you provide your own protein !

Called to cancel several weeks ago to cancel. I wasn t informed I had to email anyone and of course I m now being charged $29.00 to a gym I thought I was no longer a part of. Now trying to get an answer from someone to cancel my membership is like pulling teeth. It might be the Meca of bodybuilding but it is the Hell of customer care. If I could give 0 stars solely on customer care I would. Great equipment but again: awful customer care

I love going to this gym for the classes. The instructors are all very nice, and they keep me motivated. I usually don't have a problem getting the equipment I need for my workouts. One thing that would make it better is if they had a pool.

first off im not going to tell your not to join the gym that's your decision. but i will tell you about my experience that i had with this gym. this is one of the worst gyms i have ever went to. first off this gym is always packed you have no time to use the machine. second all the staff are rude and disrespectful. third Bill the (GM) and his little dog lies to get you to sign the contract. In my opinion no one should join this gym. even if you do go to this gym don't talk to bill or his little female dog (VP).

I would like to inquire about membership fee's while you are closed due to the current situation in regards to the virus. Will you be suspending these due's to the members? I was not able to get a email and I could not understand what it was being said on your voice mail of what your email is so I was not able to email you direct. The gym number was just a recording. Please advise.

We enjoy having this gym close to us and come 3 times a week. It's very nice.

I am super happy with Gold's in Lawrenceville. It would be nice to have 3rd squat rack , but it's ok, it's very seldom when both are taken simultaneously for more than 5 minutes. The restroom is very clean, the atmosphere is really nice, trainers have a very good attitude . Plenty of free wights, a bunch of stair masters, placement of the equipment is very intelligently done. And on the top of everything the greeters are always smiling and wishing you a great workout. What else to ask for ? Couldn't be more happy!! Good job Gold's .

I like this gym...great place to workout. Nice equipments, friendly staff... Clean locker rooms, most of the time... Sometimes, in the early mornings, the bathroom is gross and no tissue...but I guess it's because they haven't gotten to the cleaning part yet for that day. Still no excuse!!! Other than that, I do recommend this gym. If you're looking for a place to workout...check them out.

After 7 days free trial I have decided to cancel my membership. During the cancelation they promissed to refund $25 fee within a week. However, even after 20 days I did not receive any refund. When I called to their customer service they put me on hold for 15 minutes. Then I hang up and re-dialed again. The same guy picked up the phone and was surprised to hear me again. He forgot that he put me on hold!!!! They promised me again to refund my money ASAP, but at the same time could not tell me when it is ASAP...Terrible customer service! The guy at the service desk was talking like he is almost falling asleep. Where are they finding such unprofessional personnel???!!! I am glad I did not join that gym.

Every day there's equipment broken and none of the cardio machines work. I've been a member for three years and it's been going downhill

I started my membership almost a year ago and it was one of my best decisions! The gym has a variety of classes at different times, a cardio theater where you can workout while watching a movie, a plethora of machines/equipment, basketball court, and a room for personal training. They also have a child care area for the little ones. No excuses to not workout parents Everyone from the staff and the trainers to the members are really nice. Lots of positive energy and encouragement happens here! Even when I don't feel like working out, my attitude changes when I walk through the doors. I am inspired by the presence of Felecia and Cona. A big Thank You to Brian for telling me I need a trainer and introducing me to Ces because she is awesome! She's motivating, her personality is great, and she makes sure I feel the burn the next day. Because of these ladies, Felecia, Cona, and Ces, I am determined to do better.

This is by far a different gym experience. They renovate and keep things current and up to date. The place is clean. Staff and members are all friendly. I attend a variety of classes as well as use the equipment and weights. Love all of it. I feel like I have a family at Gold's and that we all care and support one another. Every instructor is knowledgeable and well trained. They're passionate about what they do. But what differentiates this gym from others is that they figured out people need people to be successful; they need support. I didn't join the recent challenge due to my unpredictable schedule, but I know many that did. And here's the cool thing... their bodies are transforming. I can see it. They're leaner and stronger. Each member can't get lost and suddenly drop the challenge because they have a support group with a trained staff member that cares. And the challenge is super affordable. Thanks to the owners and staff for all you do!

If you're new to the area don't even bother , you need to somehow have proof of address and don't bother with filling out for a guest pass ether .. they won't honor it , will charge you 10 $ a day .

I have been a member for a year and a half and it has been well worth it. They have renovated the facility since I have been there and kept the equipment up to date. I will be renewing when my contract is up.

Gold's Gym in Lawrenceville is awesome! It has a real community feel with friendly people, fun and challenging classes, and excellent equipment. The best part is the caring and knowledgeable trainers. John Taylor is my trainer and he is the best! I lost 29 pounds in just a few months training with him, and I am stronger every day. He knows so much about exercise and nutrition and truly cares about his clients and their health. He's amazing! His enthusiasm and encouragement inspires me so much. With his help, I'm making my dreams a reality.

I love this gym. Cleaner than LA Fitness, better equipped, and even during peak hours there's rarely long waits for the machines and weights you need.

The best gym ever please come can t find a better place

Today I celebrate 11 lbs weight loss and 6 inchs alone off of my waist. I started working out with John "Boom" Taylor on 6/21/16. I am not a skinny girl. I weighed 200 lbs and was stretching size 14's. As I began this journey, my marriage unraveled into a 5 month divorce, a personal injury lawyer began to pursue litigation, I started a new job on. night shift and I in October a female stalked me to the point of leaving social media and fearing for my and my family's life. Through it all and being a stress eater, "Boom" not only pushed me to honor my physical health but he stuck by me mentally, emotionally and became my friend. My goal isn't to be a size 4 but to be strong and healthier. Today would have been my first wedding anniversary but through God and my Personal Trainer, I celebrate the ongoing journey to live a longer, quality life! Thank You to "Boom", Gold"s gym family and friends!

Great gym, tons of cardio equipment, 5 Squat Racks, 3 have adjustable safeties, and 3 platforms.

Make sure to read the fine print before you sign on with these crooks. Wound up getting injured and not be able to go to the gym for a few months called and asked about canceling my membership and they told me to talk to another company about that... called and they were rude and basically told me "oh well" I tried explaining that I couldnt go because I was injured and then they just threatened to send to collections if i didnt pay. Long story short read the fine print and also stay away from this place. Even when I was here it was always full after 5pm and it was impossible to get a full workout in because all the juice heads and steroid users

Amazing gym! Couldn't ask for anything better. Great price, freindly staff, clean locker rooms, and great environment. Absolutely love this gym.
