Golden Living, Assisted Living Facility Reviews

Thank you Golden Living for taking such wonderful care of my sweet hospice patient in her last few previous weeks of life. As a hospice nurse I ve had patients in several assisted livings in the valley, this assisted living is a favorite! Golden Living was always very clean, and the staff was amazing! A big thank you especially to Brandi the care coordinator and to Brandi and Destri the awesome med techs for not only taking great care of my sweet patient but making sure I was ok as well as her nurse. I spent many hours here with my patient, especially in her final hours. I was so impressed with how accommodating the staff was to my patient and even to me, which wasn t necessary for me, but was so nice. You all were just fantastic, thank you! I would recommend Golden Living to my patients as well as to my own mother or grandmother.

I was very impressed with this assisted living. I really feel at home as soon as I walk in. It s definitely worth seeing if you re looking at assisted living facilities.

This place is a joke! Most employees aren t even doing their jobs and management here is quite terrible!! There are a 2 employees I have met here when I visited my family member and they were the most sweetest and caring humans I have met!! I hope I get your names right! Patience, Kenzi Those girls are very caring and I appreciate all the time and effort they put into the residents here at golden. Thank you girls! Management is VERY VERY disrespectful and they over charge your family member for nonsense.! Very money hungry here I tell you that.

Life events in my moms life forced us to look into assisted living facilities. We had searched many places, but when we found Golden Living, we knew our search was over. There were many things that drew us to a Golden Living. It was in an area mom was already familiar with, her original home was not far from there. She knew some of he residents, the room accommodations allowed her to have her same furniture that she was used to from her own home, and the management staff was caring and understanding. It is the most stressful time in a child's life to make the decision to place their mom in an assisted living facility, but we have never regretted the decision. From the moment we brought mom to the facility, the staff have gone t of their way to make mom feel at home, even if mom's attitude was not always pleasant. Whenever we have suggested ideas in the routine care conferences, we have always seen the suggestion implemented. I appreciate the care and concern they show for mom. I have truly appreciated the honesty from the staff when it comes to what is best for mom, they have become part of the family. The activities are varied and so there is something for everyone, the food is amazing! If you are in the search for a wonderful, homey atmosphere, look no further. Thank you Golden Living!

I was nervous about going in here, because I ve never done this before. Katelen explained the process to us and made it very easy to understand. Thank you for being so comforting in such a hard process!

Everyone in this facility is very nice and caring. When I visited the facility, I ve heard good things said about this place by the residents. Good atmosphere there. Friendly staffs. The CNAs would stop what they were doing just to ask me if I need help when I needed it. The residents would come up to me and chat with me telling me how much they love living here and the appreciation they have for the caregivers at the facility.

My wife and I are residents at Golden Living. I was very grateful for the quick response by Aides and Nurses today when my wife fell. In less that 5 minutes there were 5 staff members in our room to examine and help her to her feet. Had we still lived in an apartment, 911 would have been our only choice. This is the safe place for us.

I love the atmosphere at this facility. It s bright and very welcoming. Every time I visit there I always see happy residents in the lobby or walking around. The facility is always clean and smells good. Love this place!

It has taken me a year to write this review. My parents lived here for a very short time. The CNA's were amazing, the food was awful I had to take food to my parents every day because you couldn't eat what they served there. The management was the worst I've ever come across. Don't ever let your love ones go there

I visit Golden Living frequently providing home health care to several residents and have heard so many positive things from my patients. The clinical staff are excellent - - they communicate well and respond to emergent situations effectively. The care coordinator and facility nurse are competent, friendly and always up to date on the care of each resident. The facility is clean and in good working order. I've even heard good things about the food! So, for an assisted and independent living facility I would have to give Golden Living 5 stars.
