Golden Inn Hotel & Conference Center Review

Everything is bad there. Don't plan your stay here, search for better one. First time, I booked through clear trip and when I found the room I was shocked. In Kolkata, one can find such a room simply by paying Rs. 800 or max 900. Go to gate no. 1 or 2, there are many lodges and I have even stayed there and my experience was better there. Why to pay Rs. 1600 here??
Staff do not even know how to treat thee guests. As soon as we entered, questioned us: clear trip booking he Na??? Treating like prepaid guests secondary citizen.
We stayed at 401, old model TV, AC. No remote for AC, so you can't change temperature if you are feeling warm or cold at night. When we asked to bring remote, they said: we do not give remote to guests because whenever they do so the guests damage the remote. Old model lift, i think geyser is not working luckily when we stayed it was not so much cold do we could manage without it.
As there is a bar in the same building, till 12 you can't sleep due to very high sound.
You can't bring food from outside, and their food is too costly.
I wonder, why clear trip selected this hotel . They should have reviewed the condition of hotel first.
Only the good things are: Rooms are recently painted, and it's opposite to big bazaar, visual mega mart, KFC, etc.

Neat and tidy, value for money. Very near to airport right on the main road.

I agree with my previous reviews. Some sales person at OFF shops are charging high rates and denying to provide Bill's. I was charged Rs. 29 extra without any reason for a take away bottle.. Not expected such Activities

Old building with old manual lift. Untidy. Hotel restaurant food tastes ok.. can easily be located from the main road.

Nice to stay but the bar and attached wine shop makes it a little bit unhealthy for family persons

Had a nice experience the staff is also humble enough...I came to the hotel before my check-in time but still they managed to give a room as soon as it was possible...the food over here is also of good quality and they offer a decent quantity too...

Golden inn is a worst Bar..There have too much unocurd feeling due to no family section properly..

this place is at vip road just where the kestopur flyover start if you are coming from airport side. Room is clean and has ac and television. Room service is good. There is a restaurant and wine shop at ground floor. Overall it is good.

Worst place. Not at all recommended. They have bar downstairs which plays very loud music in the late night which is very disturbing. Rooms are not clean and full of dust and cockroach.

Costly. Not a great place to stay, unless you don't choose AC rooms.

Location is good. A normal bar + restaurant. The service is good but the Ambience and surrounding is very boring and decent.

Its an okay kinda restro bar. Nothing hi fi about it. Service quality is not upto the mark. Better go for mehek e punjab at teghoria.

is there unmarried couples are allowed ? with a valid id ???

We took the best room under their tarrif yet the experience was terrible. No serving mentality in the staff and always talking back! Terrible food with no hygene standard! If you ask them for an extra plate, they will shout back and say why we didnt ask for it before! Don't spoil your holidays by lodging there, even if they offer a discount!

Staff is nice. However rooms are very dirty. The rooms are so unclean. Infact the whole place is dirty. The rooms have not been cleaned in years. So much for getting covid test done before entering West Bengal.

Place is awesome for groups. Price is in the cheaper end and food is good enough...

Tandoori Roti- Not at all soft
Kabab- Quality is average
Chicken Dopiyaja- Not at all good. You can expect only chilly flavor
Service- Not at all good

Good services, staffs are polite & helpful. The food is quite good as well. Prices are moderate.

Good hotel with less budget and near to Airport. Location is very good. Rooms are very small but justified by room rent. Hot and cold water is there. Restaurant is good but less space for family since it is a bar too.

Very poor service.They even cut electricity in the night ,so you can't get good sleep.

This hotel n bar service is most 3 Rd class. If u want take food from hear. I will b cheated. Because I order one chiken tandoori . When they sarv I was surprised. Do I know why looks was worthless and test ? Horrible! Pls no body go

Restaurant is good but hotel service and staff are worst.

Well, this place is not as good as it shows in pictures.

First off all the room lightning sucks, and the bed sheets are also not that clean. The TV is of old model but works okay .

The space is also very less and if you see cockroach don't freak out as its the only thing that is going to accompany you during your stay.

The Bar is on the first floor so you will hear the noise till late night.

Reception staff are not that friendly but room service guy was cool and friendly.

Do not order lunch or dinner from here as I wasted my entire dinner meal. I order for Tandoori Naan and Dal Makhni. Naan was ok but the Dal Makhni was cold ( not at all warm) and the portion was also very less accorto the price. I told them and they said they only serve like this. So I was unable to eat it.
