If you are looking for a place, I highly recommend the Clara Barton Apartments. We have been at Clara Barton for over 10 years and love it here! The grounds are quiet and impeccably manicured. The resident's are friendly and respectful and the apartments are spacious. Everyone on the staff is lovely. Betty, the property manager is the best! She is always ready with a friendly smile & handles all issues quickly and professionally.

Worst client experience of my life. Moved me into a unit affected by a severe roach infestation with 0 warning, and now giving me the run around in getting the issue fully rectified. Wish I never engaged with these people. 0 regard for my wellbeing in how they do business.

Maybe you'll get lucky and get a unit without any chronic problems I guess. But do not expect them to disclose if there are any.

The 263 location is the BARE MINIMUM of apartments. I will say that the location is super convenient. It is smack dab in the middle of Newark and Montclair. Very close to the trains to NY. However, the up keep of the apartments is very disappointing as previously stated, they do the bare minimum for apartments. When I reviewed the apartments on apartment.com the bathroom and kitchen looked very clean and up to date. Looking that the actual apartment I must say I was not happy with what I saw. You could tell that they made little to no effort to make it presentable. The tiling in the bathroom was severely chipped and moldy. It looked like the tub was failing a part. The bathroom is extremely small and the fact that the toilet is right next to the door is a huge inconvenience. If someone is using the bathroom that would get smacked by the door if someone were to walk in. The appliances in the kitchen were extremely outdated. Please don't be fooled by the black appliances in the photos. The appliances are all white with access grease stains and stickers on the fridge from the previous renter. Let's talk about the over priced on site laundry room. The washers are EXTREMELY small and outdated and cost $2.00 a load and $1.75 to dry. If you think you can go wash your sheets, comforter, or even 5 pairs of jeans in one load you are sadly mistaken. What's most interesting about this apartment cite is the fact that they do little to nothing to update it but have no problem with charging yearly rent increases. What exactly are you charging the rent increase for? You're not adding anything new for residents. You're not updating anything. From what I hear from other residents that have been here for years, the only thing that has changed is the outside pavement. Goldberg, I've seen, in person, all the work you do for your other sites, maybe you should give that same attention to this one.

I have lived at Clara Barton for about a year and a half now. My experience so far has been great, it is a very peaceful area, I have never had any issues with any neighbors, I feel safe letting my child go outside to play, the lawns are always mowed and kept clean. On snow days they are very responsible in keeping the streets and sidewalks plowed up to your door steps. The new maintenance is always ready to help, on time, and is very efficient. Shreem, the property manager is very professional and prompt. She is very helpful and responsive when reached out to regarding any questions, issues, or concerns. They are always answered or taken cared of in a courteous and timely manner. She definitely makes sure that her tenants are always okay, feel safe, comfortable and makes sure they are informed at all times. Overall my experience here has been wonderful, everyone is extremely nice, it is a great place to live in and I would most certainly recommend it.

My experience was wonderful. Not only did the realty help me find a wonderful place. They helped me through the whole process. The grounds are kept beautiful and whenever I need assistance which is rare. They get back to me on time. I would highly recommend them of you are looking for comfortable clean place to live. Ms. Sheerm is a great property manager, always very respectful, friendly & a understanding professional woman... attentive and practically family at this point! She was super helpful and made the transition an easy and comfortable one! property is well maintained and staff is accommodating to maintenance request. We couldn't be happier with our new place and the amazing property management Thank you!!!

I ve lived here 9 years. It s been a great place to be. It s very quiet and I feel very safe. I ve never had any issues with neighbors or anyone here for that matter. Landscaping always looks beautiful and clean. I ve had a few things that needed attention and maintenance has always been great and quick. The property manager Betty has been friendly, accommodating and attentive from day one!

I have lived at Goldberg Properties for 5 years now and truly have very few complaints. The only complaint I have is with regards to my apartment which can be cold during the winter.. other than that, the property is clean, quiet and safe. There are no rodents, rude neighbors or staff. So far, I have never had any issues with the staff or with management. Betty is professional, always willing to help, is personable and responds promptly to any maintenance or emergency issues. As a parent, I enjoy being able to raise my daughter in a safe environment. I also like that the property is well kept and has a lot of space for children to run and play.

Our family has lived in the Clara Barton apartments for over 6 years and we truly have no complaints. It's a very quiet and safe area in our section. The property is very clean and well kept. Betty, the property manager, is professional, very personable and always willing to help with any issues that may occur. I have two children and I feel the complex is a safe environment to raise kids in. My children love to be outdoors and with the cleanliness of the property, the kids are free to play in the large space that's provided.
