Gold Star Chili, Inc. Review

Asked for layered chili and cheese fries. Taste great and exactly what I wanted. Staff nice and listen to you on exactly how you want it.

I'd be careful eating here you never know where the food has been (accidentally dropped on the floor maybe ) former employee here!

They have a very bad attitude and I asked for extra garlic sauce smh this is what it looked like after I moved the fries around these fries are five dollars but u can't get the sauce that comes on it... I can't go back my break is only a half hour

When i walked up to the door they immediately locked it without even acknowledging me. Sooooo rude

Dextrose in the sauce, I believe. Something in there to jack it up and make it have " more" but not better taste than Skyline.

Skyline was closed so I had to go there and then had to go back a second time left out items out of my order

Yummy!!!! The Strawberry Shake with whip cream was soooo Dreamyyyy!!!!

Came through the drive thru to get a 3-way and they forgot my Fork my cheese and my receipt. When I called they told me I couldn t eat the food but in order to get it replaced I had to bring it back. It s my lunch hour I can t come back!!! And now I have to go without my lunch. They didn t even say sorry!!! And this rudeness came from the manager!!!!!!!

I like Gold Star a little better than skyline will let more Variety of food I think I think you're gonna get you don't live in make cheeseburgers One down on Mitchell I hope so both places you can't go wrong

Cincinnati-style chili.. you'll either love it or hate it.. I think it's pretty good.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was my first time there and I definitely will go back. Food was good!!

Vegetarian chili is decent if you are a veg. and miss Cincinnati chili.

The food is always good. However the staff they have working tend to be very sarcastic. I placed my order and the girl walks by the cashier speaking in a tone so I could hear her saying I should ve orders something else. And yet she didn t even remember to put my full order in the bag. Let s focus more on customer service than being smart mouthed. I ve been here several times and seen arguments between staff and customers. Yelps reviews were more accurate than google. Definitely won t be returning.

Chili still good but it taste more watery these days

Food was fantastic and the service was even better. Much better than camp Washington could ever be.

Food is always just okay. Drive through took too long. Had to repeat my order multiple times. At 3 in the afternoon they must have been busier than normal. Minimal staff.

After a 2 hour drive with 2 kids we stopped at this location to eat. They were SO rude! My wife walked toward the restroom and the cashier loudly told her she had to order first. The chain is fantastic but this location should be closed if these are the best employees they find. Never again!

Not a big fan of the other Cincy place so I wasnt expecting to like this place either...pleasantly surprised. Only had a chili dog but wished I would have ordered a few more (they are a bit small). Will repeat

I've never gotten the stare down from a drive thru employee before I visited here. For a minute I thought the guy was going to shake me down for money or smokes.
The food was alright, but I've discovered that I'm not a fan of 'cincy-style' chili, so I guess my opinion of the food can be taken with a grain of salt. Or a tablespoon of cinnamon and allspice, if that's what you prefer.

The menu and service were above our expectations. I really liked the atmosphere of this place. Fantastic place to take my family out for lunch.

It's good, usually fast, and the same price as Goldstars anywhere else. Not much to complain about there. If you like Goldstar or want to try it, this is a good place to go to. If you don't like Goldstar, this obviously won't change your mind on that.

Gold Star is hard to beat. I'd eat there much more often if it was just a little less expensive.

Portions were smaller than usual. Waitress was very nice

Can't go wrong here. Vegetarian Chili was our choice and wasn't disappointed. Atmosphere friendly; service great, food delicious.

My husband swears this location is the best in the TriState area. The manager here is always friendly and kind. Plus we havent had any issues with food quality.

The staff is an absolute joke. My order was wrong and the entire staff argued about how my order was correct. I clearly know what i was asking for and what i ordered, even my reciept was correct. They clearly just didn't want to remake it.

I'm four months pregnant and walked into this place and asked if I could use the restrooms. The staff told me it was for customers only. I proceeded to tell them I had already gone to two other places and had been denied. She just pointed to thortons across the street. I ran over there did my business and tried to speak with the manager. I told them staff member what had happened and I was told to call back later. This is the first review I've ever written. I've been in the service industry for 7 years and would never deny anyone their rights to use the restroom.

First time ever too a Gold Star chilli and the staff couldn't be better. My server gave me ample time to read the menu. Another person was able to explain the menu if I had a question. Food was awesome!

I was passing through on I-75 and stumbled upon this restaurant. I wasn't sure what to expect and was pleasantly surprised! The wait staff were very informative, the kitchen was fast, and the food is tasty. A great combination for ''road food".

Gold Star Chill gets a bronze star from me. Having tasted their chilli for the very first time, only served to remind me of just how very much I love eating at home...

Food no good. To many mistake did in to go. I Say grilled chicken. Put like a can food chicken it s show like plan freaky chicken. Plus there is no beans

The vegetarian chili is excellent! Skyline better catch up because now I buy all of my family's chili from Gold Star as there is something delicious to eat for everybody.

I don't know what they do differently here, but this is the best Gold Star in the city

I went to buy a gift card. On line it says if you purchase a $25 gift card you get a $5.00 gift card free. But they said that campaign is not happening now. So why is it on the website?

Went to the drive through today was missing food and then the workers got rude with me when I came back through wanting my food. I was there 30 minutes for a $20 order. Then the food was sloppy and thrown together.
