We just got back from a hog hunting trip that we go to every year for 5years in a row at God's Country Outfitters. This place gets better every year from the newer lodge, and cabins they recently built with everything you need bunkhouse, shower's, kitchen etc.. Also the night vision,thermal scopes are awesome for night hunts. There dogs are very well trained and always find us hogs on morning hunts. The guys are all very nice and will do anything and everything to make your hunt successful and fun. We always come home with meat for the freezer.Thanks Rt,Nick,Charles. See you guys next year.

I was frustrated trying to bag a turkey on my own so I decided to look for a local guide to learn from. I am so glad I found God's Country Outfitters. Charles was awesome and worked me in on short notice. His lodge and cleaning facilities are awesome. I hunted with Ray who was quiet, confident, experienced, passionate and patient. Just when I was ready to pack it in late in the afternoon a Tom came insight. And what a site. Ray expertly called this cautious Tom in for an hour and a half patiently calling him in to 57 yds. I wasn't waiting any longer and bagged the bird. My first turkey and a nice Osceola at that. The excitement of watching the bird gobble, walk away, walk towards us one of my best hunting memories. Highly recommend God's Country Outfitters.

I loved this place. From the moment we got there Charles was so accommodating. He let me try out a couple of rifles until we found the right one. As soon as we met R.T I knew he was a great guy. On the first spot we checked we found a large group of hogs . We stalked up to them, which was a great experience, then when I finally had a clear shot at one I took the opportunity and shot my first hog ever. Me and my dad loved these people. Totally recommend these guys. We will be back for more hunting and cabin renting.
We were part of a group that did some volunteer work after a Hurricane and traveled to Florida to help. When the folks at God's Country Outfitters found out they offered to let us stay at their cabins in order to help support the cause. These are Great People! This place is awesome. Very well run by Charles and his family. Very patient and accommodating . Excellent for solo , or duo , or family. Basically it is great for everyone . R.T is a great guide and Charles too. We will be back to check out the cabins that they rent and to hunt more.

Charles met all our expectations and more. Starting with our first phone call. He was Very polite and always available for any questions before our trip. He welcomed us into his life as if we were family. The land is very well maintained along with all their facilities. They processed our hogs with care and were always willing to help fulfill any of our needs or special request.
I just returned from an alligator hunt with God's Country Outfitters in Florida. Charles and RT Herrington run a first class operation. The lodge and bunkhouse are beautiful and comfortable. The meals were fantastic. RT and Nick guided me to a prehistoric monster. We saw dozens of gators and on the second night we took a great alligator. I can't recommend these guys enough. In addition to alligator hunts, they also offer hog and Osceolla turkey hunts. Great place!!

I highly recommend going hunting with God s Country. Their property is absolutely gorgeous with a big lodge & a guest house; it is very relaxing. The lodge and guest house are comfortable, they can easily host a large group and very clean you will feel right at home with their southern hospitality. My friends and I had a great time at our ladies hog hunt & bow fishing trip. We definitely made lasting memories & great friends. We laughed so much nor did we didn t want our time to end. We could have simply walked around the property for hours just enjoying the beautiful woods and peace & quiet. RT and Charles made sure we arrived with ease and had a great time. RT and the rest of our guides were very helpful & knowledgeable. They always made sure we were comfortable and safe using our gear before we even left the lodge for our adventures. They took extra time to answer all of our questions throughout our visit. I really loved how they let me be hands on and gladly teaching me the whole time how to do things. We had two great hunts and can t wait to come back to what truly is God s Country!

I went to turkey hunt with these guys, 4th time I had been to Florida trying to get an osceola but first time hunting with GCO, I needed an osceola to finish my slam, first morning out I was finished. Everyone else I saw there hunting got theirs as well. The hunting was great and the hospitality was better. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

I have been on quite a few hunts with outfitters and this is only the second one I've given 5 stars. Charles and his crew are great people. His guides are excellent hunters and very friendly. They have a lot of turkeys and a lot of land and don't over hunt there leases. Clean comfortable lodge and excellent food and plenty of it. They like to have a good time with there clients. If your looking for an Osceola turkey hunt this is the place!

If you're after an Osceola Turkey this is THE place to go. The accommodations were clean and comfortable, the food was amazing, and the work the entire team puts into scouting and planning is evident from their record. I was able to hunt with them this season and they will hunt with you from before daybreak to dark. The guides communicate very well to let each other know where the birds are moving or gobbling. They made me feel at home and like I had known them for years.
The best experience of my life, wouldn t wanna hog hunt anywhere else. The whole trip is family oriented, from the moment I walked into the coolest lodge ever all the way until we packed the truck and left I felt like part of the family. The cooking is amazing! The guides are the greatest people in the world. Easily the greatest hunt of my life and I think anybody will say the same. Sitting in the hog stands I saw at least 25 turkeys everyday. If you want to kill turkeys go to gods country!! If you want to kill hogs go to gods country!! If you want to kill gators go to gods country!! Only 364 more days until I get to run dogs on some big boar hogs!

First time ever hunting hogs and the experience was amazing. Brought my 12 year old son, father, and two friends to God's Country Outfitters. The entire staff was beyond friendly and down to earth. They make you feel like you have known them for years and are reuniting to go hunting. RT was the guide for my sons hunt and he made it extremely memorable, my son will not stop talking about how great he is. Charles made me feel at ease with the entire experience. The food was down home and the lodge was beyond comfortable. This is one of the best hunting experiences I have had hands down. God s Country Outfitters is a five star operation! TR, Charles and their crew took really good care of us on our ladies Bow fishing & Hot Hunt down in Florida. They have the a beautiful property with a lodge that is a perfect hosting groups. I also loved their cute private cabins with a full bathroom & AC ( us girls were grateful for that ) Our Hog Hunt & River Bow fishing trip were a success. Everyone was very helpful, patient & attended to all of our needs & questions. They took extra time to explain the equipment, made safety a priority & set us all up for success. I also really liked how stress free they made shipping our meat and shipping our hog skulls. We will definitely be coming back for Hunting in God s Country!
Best Gator hunting experience ever! This was my very first hunting experience, so I was a bit nervous about my lack of hunting skills. But RT & Charles were very thorough with training and additional information before heading out to the river. Plus we ALLL caught huge gators!!! 5 stars all around.

Did an afternoon/night combo hunt with GCO for wild hog. Really impressed with the properties and the amount of wild game seen. My guide was able to put me on a really nice hog during the night time thermal hunt- which was incredibly exciting. A totally unique way to hunt and I would recommend it to anyone. I would not hesitate to do the hunt again, and hope to get the chance to chase Osceola s or gators with GCO in the future.

My experience with them was top notch and very professional.Ill start with how I found them and decided to use this outfitter impartial,I decided back in October to take my father on a hunt as a Christmas present to him .I started looking for an outfitter via social media and the ole internet,I came back to Gods country outfitters each time As far as what I was looking,land ,location,and ease of access.From the first message sent to the hand shake as we left everything was professional and ethical.I had decided to do stalk and hog hunt with my father that morning.We were quickly put on a decent pack of hogs ,The guild coordinated with me on what hog to harvest and when would be good time to shoot ,I probably passed a few before feeling confident I had a good shot .My father was able to harvest one as well.I was really impressed with how safety oriented the young guild was,coming from a military back ground Ive seen everything under the sun as far as gun safety,That was a major plus in my book .They were awesome as far quartering the two hogs up and taking them to processor saving me a few hours on the road that day .I honestly will be back for turkey and gator season of the 2020 year .Lastly the venue is super nice and could easily hold decent number of people for a banquet or dinner.

Had a great stop-and-stalk hog hunt at God's County Outfitters. Guide was great and the rest of the guys there were accommodating and welcoming. The lodge they have there is really nice and it was awesome that they provided ice for after the hunt instead of having to stop at some middle-of-nowhere gas station. I highly recommend them if you're looking to have a great hog hunt experience.

Best outfitter that we have used so for in our quest for the Wild Turkey Royal Slam. Their hospitality and staff are second to none. I had an absolutely fantastic hog hunt last night. This was my first time hog hunting and first time using an outfitter. From the moment I met Charles and R.T. they made me feel like family. Charles got me checked in and let me get a feel for the rifle and thermal scope. R.T. put me on 3 hogs at the very first place we checked. You can tell these guys have a blast doing what they do, which makes the experience that much more enjoyable.
