My two daughters and I recently went on the GO WEST TOUR to Phillip Island to see the penguins. Our driver was Travis. I am a Travel Consultant in Central and have traveled extensively throughout the world. I found Travis to be one of the best driver/guides I have ever come across. He was very informative and friendly and he had us all feeling we were friends by the end of the day, in spite of the fact that we had people from Luxembourg, China, Texas, Indonesia, Japan, Guatemala and Australia.

We have been to the great Ocean road yesterday ( with Glenn) and to the Grampians national park today (with Adrian). Both great guides and the tours were fantastic also thanks to their way to entertain people! I know you have a competition going on guys...but we loved the both of you!

I booked the Phillip Island tour and I was very disappointed.

There was barely any airconditioning in that bus it was soooo uncomfortably hot I felt hard to breathe the whole long way. Juliet our guide was ok, it could have been more informative at the moonlit sanctuary we weren t given any information about the animals the group drifted away. It was a horrible experience at the so-called sanctuary, they picked up lizards, pet the animals and taking selfies as close as kissing the animals on their cheeks. All the animals were in tight closures. It was a zoo, not a sanctuary.

The visit to Brighton Beach Box was literally 15 minutes for toilet break and some tourist photos then quickly back to the bus, so very typical tourist thing.

We were given a lunch menu to order (extra costs) that there was not anything worth ordering, 2 minutes noodles and things. Our guide was surprised not many people ordered, not that we were not hungry but no one wanted to try the given menu.

I called to address my experience and I was given not our problem sort of answer. So no thank you.

Graham our guide today was terrific. The planned stops were great.. he had patience when travellers were late when returning to the bus. He made our day fun and enjoyable.

Me and my wife had a great day at the evening tour (sunset) of the great oceon Road and the tour guide Glen was class. He was very informative and gave us a good tine at the places and kept the day going smooth, funny and was very nice even offering people help in a few ways.

5 star definitely recommend the 12 apostles was amazing to see and the places on the way were nice too.

We did a Phillip Island tour with Graham H, and had an incredible time. Graham had a wealth of relevant knowledge about the wildlife we would be seeing on our trip (including pointers on where to sit for the penguin parade), but being native to Melbourne, he had lots of great tips for local craft beer spots.

The tour itself was really enjoyable, the Moonlit Sanctuary gives you a chance to hand feed some wallabies and kangaroos, and the Philip Island Penguin Parade was a delight.

I'd highly recommend Go West Tours! I did the Great Ocean Road day tour and had a blast! From the personalized playlist of songs to listen to, to the tour guide's (Nicky's) stories and information I learned a lot about the area and came away with great pictures and memories!

I joined a "the great ocean road sunset you" with Daniel T, he is so helpful , energetic and informative, through the wether today is so bad, windy and cloudy that we didn't have chance to watch sunset, Daniel still do his best to make us comfortable and happy, to help us discover other scenes from nature beauty and get more understand of Melbourne's history.

My partner and I partook in the Great Ocean Road/12 Apostles sunset tour and had a phenomenal time! Our tour guide Jordan did a fantastic job showing us a variety of locations. Not only was he punctual in terms of arriving at various locations on time, he was also very knowledgeable and friendly throughout the entire journey. I'd HIGHLY recommend this experience to friends/family or anyone visiting Melbourne! 110% worth it!

It was a good day when we had our Yara Valley tour with Go West.. bus was comfortable, food was very tasty, places visited had some good wine (enjoyed the dessert wine) and chocolates (strawberry one was amazing). We were very lucky to have met Sam (our charming and quirky tour guide). He was always looking out for us and telling us jokes. He is a sincerely and friendly chap!

This is a great tour agency. Each group is no more than 20 and hence we get a smaller bus and can interact with the guide more. The guides are very friendly and really know a lot about the places we visit. They are also very lively and the cringy soundtrack in the bus adds to the atmosphere. Well-planned itinerary, although at times wish that we could have stayed at some places longer. We were kept occupied throughout the tour with attractions, decent meals as well as songs and facts rattled off by the guides. Small group also allows guides to get to know you and also allows you to not be so overwhelmed by large groups of people crowding around one area. Highly recommended, if you go for tours, please sign up for go west tours, you won't regret it. (Tour guide Mel was great for the Great ocean road tour)

Had a great day on the penguin parade tour. Glenn was friendly and it was all well organised. I was surprised at the nice beaches victoria has, and we had time to enjoy walking along them through the day as well as seeing the lovely Nobbys. The penguins are something special too

My friend from America Bryant and I went on the Phillip Island Koala and Penguin tour. Allen was our driver and he was so informative and had the best arrangement of songs and music suitable for every situation on the day,
The penguin same out a little bit later and Allen waited for all of us to get back on the bus. He was a very caring kind and happy driver and I can thoroughly recommend him for any trip.
We travelled on Tuesday 15 March 2016. Outstanding trip.

A wonderful day, although sunshine was missing all day long. We had a lovely guide and her name is Leonie. She was friendly, helpful and conversable. The views along the trip was wonderful and definitely worthy going!

We booked the day trip to see the penguins at Philip Island.
We board the coach from a pickup point outside a hotel in centre of Melbourne without issue. Our driver was excellent from the start to the finish, good music and excellent commentary all the way.
We past St Kilda beach, stopped at the beach huts, headed over to a wildlife park to see local wildlife and break for lunch. Then over to vistor centre for a while until it was time to see the penguins emerge from the sea. Then back to the minibus for the journey back to Melbourne.

A delightful day -- many delicious experiences in lovely surrounds, & our host/driver Chris was lovely company, friendly & informative. We saw quite a few places but the schedule was well-structured so we didn't feel rushed, even later in the day when it got crowded. I'd definitely recommend this trip.

We had a wine tour as part of our wedding weekend and led by the amazing Yazmin! The day was amazing. So many tasty wines, well facilitated at each stop and just a wonderful experience! Highly recommend for any occasion... Even prewedding!

I had a great trip to Great Ocean Road. Go West bus picks up at the appointed location very punctually. The surprise is that Yazmin's friend is a tour guide cum driver, extremely cute and enthusiastic. You drove while telling us brief and interesting Australian history stories about the early days of the country as well as the stories about the history of Gread Ocean Road and related history. stops on the road. I was especially impressed with the stops at Otway National Park, Twelve Apostles and Lorch Arc (wishing to be able to stop at these locations longer). Overall very satisfied with the trip. Hope can come back.

For visitors who do not speak the language, skipping the service directly is equivalent to discriminating against guests with bad English, which makes people feel unhappy.
I told the owner about the reason for this comment. I regret that the owner did not feel the point we were concerned about. I had expected to improve or understand it, but after reading the owner s comment, I can only say it clearly.

We did two tours with Go West and both where excellent. Thanks John, Paul G. and Mell for the great memorizable days! One tip: the stories you tell on the road, about the history of Melbourne and its surroundings, are awesome. Make them longer ;-) You guys are natural storytellers and there is nothing better than to listen to good stories while doing an awesome roadtrip. We had traveled with Dean, a friendly and helpful tourguide, in the great ocean road full day tour in 27 Dec 2019. They will send you the schedule in their app with detailed information about the destinations along the tour. And the sights are magnificent and spectaculous. You'd better be quick before the ocean flows away 12 apostles !

24 people inside the minibus, a little bit crammed but the seat was nice and comfortable. Our guide was Sam, genuine smile & warmth from the get go. Calm & collected, he threw in some jokes whilst still maintained professionalism. Best tour guide I've met so far! Morning tea was filling, with 3 choices of cakes. Lunch I had samosas & salad- plenty of options. We were given adequate amount of time each stop to take pictures & enjoy the breathtaking scenery of the Great Ocean Rd. I would go with Go West again.

We join the grampion day tour. Some trek is bit hard but it is what we look for.
Time in travelling is a lot, so please take a book.

We did the Great Ocean Road day tour from Melbourne. Our driver and guide, Clem, was quirky, knowledgeable and entertaining, and the music choices were inspired (eg, "Every Day is a Winding Road" when the road starts to wind). The 12 Apostles and Loch Ard Gorge were spectacular. I did feel that there were a few too many stops along the way at places of limited interest, and that a 13.5 hour day probably should have been 10 hours. Overall though, a very good experience.

We just got back from a tour of Phillip Island Small Group Eco Tour with Go West. What an amazing day we had. Our driver Travis was fantastic, he provided us with so much information and was so funny, we laughed from the time we started till when we got dropped off. He introduced everyone on the Tour to each other and it really brought the group of 15 together. We visited the Moonlit Sanctuary Wildlife Park, which was so cool. Then onto the Phillip Island Winery and tasted some amazing wines. Then on to see the Nobbies and the the icing on the cake was seeing the Little Penguin Parade. Thank you Travis for an amazing Day, you are the best.

I did the Phillip Island tour and it was absolutely amazing! Got to see beautiful beaches, visit the animals in moonlit sanctuary, and ended the day with the penguin parade.
Our tour guide, Adrian was amazing! He was so knowledgeable, energetic, fun and passionate about his job. He made everyone feel welcome and tried his best to make sure anyone on his tour group got the best experience they could.
If you get chilled easily, I recommend you bring a sweater or jacket on the trip.

I just completed a tour of The Great Ocean Road and Twelve Apostles. The verdict? Superb!
We had the best tour guide I've ever met. Jon is very well informed, very entertaining and very patient. Best of all, he loves his job. It was fun from the word go.
I am very happy I chose Go West even though it isn't the cheapest.
A highly recommended tour.
If possible, ask for Jon to lead your group. You'll be thoroughly entertained.

Enjoy the trip, esp the penguin parade. Our guide was leah. She had done a great job. I think she was like a nanny having to take care of ppl from different countries..of different age..and at the same time she's the driver, tour guide, time keeper ..and yet..u can really feel her enthusiasm towards her job.

She purposely invited the eldest member to join her at the co driver seat and made sure he was taken care of through out the trip.

And while she fetched us from our respective hotels..she will make a huge effort to wait n call up the member who didnt turn up on time (not me) Bravo leah!

We took a day tour to Great Ocean Road and it was great tour altogether. A huge thanks to our tour guide sweet Ms Leah for keeping us entertained and providing us all the information about the tour, history of places along and all the fun facts. A great day spent in Victoria. Thanks again!

I went on the Great Ocean Road tour and I have to say that it had some of the best sights I have seen. Great views of the ocean road and the 12 Apostles. My tour guide Leonie was energetic, friendly and was quick to answer any questions I had. All around a fantastic experience, best thing I have done in Australia so far.

GoWest Tours are awesome! We first went with Alan, our driver thru the Great Ocean Road Tour, and he was brilliant. Tons of info and trivia, fun, and funny. Scott, our other driver to Phillip Island was just as fun. They do everything to make the tour fun, and easy. Lots of stops, letting you know the best places to eat, and also which souvenir shops are the better, cheaper, and have more stock. I would recommend booking with them anytime.

My family and I joined Go West s Grampian Day Tour led by Leia on 20 Dec 2017. The tour was very good and Leia is a wonderful guide. Leia is truly (respects and enjoys her job)!

On Tuesday 11/1/16 I did the great ocean road day tour with Go West. Cath was our guide and she totally ROCKED IT!!! she was fun, spirited, helpful, and just made this long incredible journey truly unique. The bus was packed, and I wished I was able to sit on the left hand side to see the beauty of the coastline, but other than that, we had a ton of stops to take pictures, use the bathroom, eat, and get to see some fun stuff like koalas. Tours are pretty cool, but a guide really makes the experience for you. Cath's knowledge and fun spirit made this trip unforgettable. I would totally recommend you guys to anyone traveling to OZ!! Great tour at a reasonable price for a whole day of experiences!

I went to many famous places on the Great Ocean Road, and the lazy koalas drank to attract everyone s attention. The colorful parrots were not afraid to fly on their bodies. I saw kangaroos walking by the road and walking in the rainforest.
The tour guide Rohan is very welcoming and caring, with friendly service, professional commentary, and humorous. It looks like everyone is having fun.
Feeling warm to see the hot drinks and cakes prepared by Rohan in the cold weather.

He provided many extras throughout the day, that really demonstrated his passion for the areas that we visited, as well as the wildlife that inhabits this region. The tour was amazing! We enjoyed a perfect selection of food and wineries, generous tastings, thoughtful product presentation in the shops we visited, beautiful landscapes and an extremely entertaining and knowledgeable driver - Alex was great fun and provided for a great atmosphere!

We had Cath as our tour guide. She was friendly, knowledgable, new everyone by name, and just lots of fun to be around. I did my tour for great ocean road were I got to see koalas, a rainforest, the 12 apostles and the surrounding area. It was such a great experience.

Our guide Sophie is friendly. A fuss-free day trip out of Melbourne City to the Yarra Valley, with lots of wine, cheeses and chocolates. Lunch was included and accompanied by a beautiful view of a vineyard.

This was a great trip from beginning to end. They pick you up and drop you off near your hotel. The drivers are very friendly. I would definately take another tour with them.

Me and my wife had a wonderful and fun tour experience to Phillip Island organised by Go West. Our tour guide Adiran was very informative, knowledgeable about Melbourne and he shared some jokes, guessing games during the tour to ensure we were all having fun.

It was a cool experinces to visit Moonlite Sactuary..to see and touch Wombat, Wallabie, Kangorooo...and it was such great experience for us..

And finally we were watching penguins parade out from the ocean back to their home... . They were super cute! It was cold and windy when we were there, so make sure you were prepare for it.

I have recently taken a tour with Go West on 21st May 2016 to Phillip Island for the Penguin Parade. With that, I would like to take this opportunity to commend the guide (Phil) for providing us with a wonderful experience.

Phil arrived earlier than the pick up time and because we were early as well, we could pick up the next passengers early. However, despite some delay from the next passengers, Phil remained patient and continued with the pick ups. He even ensured that the bus was clean while we waited for the second pick up. Even after lunch when everyone threw our trash into the bin, he made a conscious effort to empty the bin (which was already full) at the next pit stop. Phil also ensured that the atmosphere in the bus was a cheery one and played very nice music and took in our requests for songs. Also, even when some of the members in the tour were late to return to the bus after the parade, Phil displayed patience and was still all smiles regardless of the tardiness.

Unfortunately, our tour date fell on the day where the major accident happened and our bus was stuck in the massive jam (apparently there was a major traffic accident and the road at the only entry/exit point of the island was closed for at least 6 hours). However, Phil was very quick to respond to the situation and took care of our welfare. He made a quick decision to U-turn so that we could have our dinner at Cowes. He also updated us frequently on the situation and tried his best to assure us that we will be outta the island as soon as possible. During the wait for the jam to clear, Phil even suggested some activities for us (i.e. to walk to the pier, get some gelato, or walk around Cowes). Despite the long day he had with us, he maintained great professionalism and dropped us at our hotel safely (it was already 0330 in the morning then). He proved to be very reliable and we felt safe with him as our guide.

Phil was exceptionally awesome. The best guide we have ever met! We really enjoyed our experience with him and if we visit Melbourne again, we would like to take another tour with him! Thank you Phil and the team at Go West for this memorable experience!

Had a wonderful day one great ocean road! The tour was absolutely spectacular, i felt well looked after and enjoyed the beautiful views and locations that were put togerher. Chris our guide was knowledgeable and full of little stories. Would highly recomend the pinnacle tour. :)

We spent a wonderful day with Chris on Jan. 14, 2018! He knew how to fill the long drive with interesting anecdotes and, equally important, when not to speak. The only negative we have about the tour: at the end of the tour, we wish Chris had dropped us off first, rather than last, at our hotel!!! We thoroughly enjoyed our day and highly recommend this tour.

Did a Grampians Tour recently. Jon did a good job touring us and driving us around Grampians and teaching us a bit more on history, geology, and zoology. :) Awesome work!

I booked a tour to the Grampian National Park from the Go West Tours. I had a great time and felt grateful to have such a devoted tour guide Nicky to give us in-depth introduction and to try to engage everyone in subtle ways. She had made our journey super fun and memorable, and she took good care of everyone. Amongst two other tours from different agencies I attended in my Australian trip, Nicky definitely tops in terms of commitment. An extra worth while tour. Strongly recommended!

Did a tour with a group of friends through the Yara Valley. Had great fun at all the wineries and the chocolaterie. Our tour guide Yazmin was amazing, enthousiastic, very accommodating, especially helping me getting my wheelchair everywhere. Would definitely recommend!

The tour was well organized , comfortable vehicle, and Steven the tour guide was fabulous, he gave us background of Australia in many aspects,payed attention to every passenger ,gave us many opportunities in every stop to explore and see as much as we can.
The Go West send a survey some days after the tour to get our feedback. Serious attitude.
I joined another tour with the Bunyip company and I can compare the service I got. Go West were much more professional.

Great tour with Glenn. Very knowledgeable guide and good fun. The walks in the Grampians were stunning and we loved the wildlife at the end.

The only downside was having the 'Koala Bear' song in my head all afternoon!

We went for Yarra Valley wine tasting tour. The tour was well planned, managed to visit 3 wineries, 1 chocolatier (for chocolate, this place cannot be missed) and fruit and cheese tasting. Our tour guide Glenn was knowledgeable and experienced, he was very attentive and clear. Love the tour!

Gt Ocean road trip with Daniel driving on 17th march 2015. A superb day out with a knowledgeable and friendly guide in a comfortable tour bus. it's a long day but there is a lot of beautiful scenery and it is brought to life by the 'back story' from Daniel. i'd recommend it to anyone.

Just had a fantastic day on the Ocean Road with Adrian as our guide! We're on our second day in Melbourne and we've been spoilt with this trip! We managed to see everything promised and a little bit more too! The views are to die for and it's definitely an Instagramers dream! Adrian has been our most energetic and enthusiastic guide since our arrival in Oz. He's very knowledgeable and engaging with all the group! It's made the trip more awesome!

To be honest, I had planned on working the weekend but my schedule cleared up and I found myself having one free day and not having explored Victoria at all.

On the recommendation of a coworker, I decided to take a tour of the Great Ocean Road through Go West Tours.

Picture perfect day was somewhat ruined by a forecast of rain throughout the day Or at least I thought it was until I met our driver Mike.

Sharp witted, friendly and incredibly knowledgeable about not only the tour stops but of Australian culture and trivia in general, Mike was more than happy to indulge me in conversation and answer my questions throughout the day as I rode up front on the 12 hour tour.

He was professional, timely, and an amazing driver who not only managed to not only keep the whole group engaged, but actually bring us together and forge relationships that will last beyond the one day tour.

Even though it rained, Mike showed us around the Great Ocean Road and pulled off on vista points where he knew we would get amazing photos of the beautiful coastline, and into areas that allowed us to see Koalas on more than one occasion.

Little did I know at the beginning of the day the sights I would see, the memories I would be making, and the people I would meet would be a highlight of my trip to Victoria.

Fun, funny, and thoroughly enjoyable! We took the full day Yarra Valley Gourmet tour on Saturday with Katherine as our guide. The tour was really great, and Katherine was amazing. She was funny, played good music and sang along, had loads of info about the areas we were driving through as well as the places we stopped. Her joyful personality truly made the tour even better. She even gave us a great tip for an event going on, that we later checked out for a yummy dinner. The Night Noodle Market was a hit.

Had an amazing day going to phillip island and seeing the penguin parade. I did upgrade to the guided ranger tour to see the penguins. It was great and got so close to seeing them. Also binoculars and headphones were provided so I could only hear my guide and see the penguins coming from the ocean. Definitely worth the extra money. Chris R was a great tour guide for the whole day. He was very approachable and knowledgeable of the areas we were seeing. I would definitely book them again when I come back. Thanks for a great day and experience.

This was a great tour of thre Great Ocean Road and The Twelve Apostles. LEONIE was a great tour guide and driver giving us the best of both worlds, humor and lots of information. The tour was relaxed and informative but still very organized and enjoyable. My group of 7 friends and I loved it and would highly recommend!! Thanks for everything Leonie !!!

We recently went on the Great Ocean Road tour with Adrian. The tour was very good, the views along the road were spectacular! Adrian was really great, very informative and good fun, he really helped to make the day enjoyable!

This tour is great!! Highly recommended. The group is 24 person max and the bus is convenient. Our guide Kelly was fantastic!! Very friendly, informative and helpful. On time pick ups.

Had an awesome day with go west tours on the great ocean road. Phil, the best tour guide I've ever had.

An excellent way to spend a day seeing the beautiful country without having to worry about concentrating on road maps driving etc. The guide was positive and fun to be with (a key point when the group are together all day!). Lots of sights to see especially loved the rainforest before heading to the 12 apostles. Although the 12 apostles is the final leg of the journey the day was filled with so many wonderful sights. Definitely recommend the Great Ocean Road tour.
