Global village is a must visit. It is literally the whole world in one massive place with goods and food from all over the world. 15aed entry which is the lesser expensive days out in Dubai. This place is massive, give yourself at least 3 hours to walk around and enjoy the buzzing atmosphere.
Excellent idea and inside the place everything is well executed. However, one of the only cons is that it's a very, very long walk from parking to the main gate (FYI, there is a toy train to take you from parts of the parking to the main gate but the waiting time each train needs to be improved)

Must visit while in Dubai! It is open only during the winter season in Dubai. It is an open air market representing the different products of most of the countries around the world. It also have thousands of great international restaurants. The place to be for families! However, the crowd is a bit too big if you are intending to bring a baby with you. Inside the gardens of a global village you can also enjoy free of charge concerts. The whole place is built with the unique buildings representing the particular countries and you will find both the Statue of Liberty and the Eiffel Tower in there, along with the Asian temples and the Muslim mosques. Ticket is only 15aed and is really worth visiting!

Excellent orchestration of a literal global village, you'll find everything from world cuisines and delicacies. Also the carnival are is great t ok blow off some steam and have fun. Definitely recommended as a family outing
The place is definitely great for families interested in an array of activities not only limited to shopping but trying different types of food and drinks, enjoying kids play areas and some attraction shows that may be interesting to watch ... only draw backs are that some pavilions are really not relevant to their countries, many times the merchandise shown is over priced and there would be a great deal of hassle to really land on the price you think is fair.
Many times the quality of some materials is lower than what you can easily get in Dubai itself.

Thrilling rides like Giant wheel, high swing, circus for kids etc are present. Stunt Show and Fireworks display at night are good. Place is Lively with people from different countries. Good Weekend destination. MUST VISIT PLACE IN DUBAI TOUR.

If you are looking for a low key but authentic amusement this is the right place to spent a few hours with the whole family. It is an ongoing fair, market, carnival, which will take you around the world with a dense line up of shows and attractions. Wheather you want to shop for afghanistan's antiquities, source some japanese handmade fan or sample Thai food directly from a floating market's boat you decide your pace of visit.You can either rush throught the pavillions trying to see all of the countries (mission impossible) or take it easy and stop on your way to enjoy some rabab player, cyrcus acrobats, stunt shows, flash mobs choreography, magician tricks and lots of other everchanging options. Get the full program and map at the entrance and get ready for a long walk. Plenty of free parking and food options, avoid if too busy, on weekends fireworks at 9pm, cheap entrance fee, few attractions need additional ticket
Most of the counties iconic statues and building at one place. Each pavillion has it's own cultural programs make sure to check the timing at the respective pavillion. There is water fountain and fire show starting at 8pm. Ample to parking space. Over all awesome place to hangout with ur loved ones.
But all the foods out there are triple the prices. Even the shopping items in each pavillion are 5 times the price of actual market price.

Where do you get shawarma neighboring sushi? Kunefe beside Gulam Jamun? Karak tea vs zombie drink ? Global Village is the answer to the people who has visited it. Global village is family designation. Today I visited the Global village for the 5th time and always feels new and exciting. Lots of things to explore of different countries, culture, foods. Loved it, you can take a bus if you are a tourist, you don't need the cab but make sure to read all the details. The inner design is very nice, the energy is a much need experience and it doesn't open before 4 pm and not all the months of the year. The entrance fee is affordable and the payment inside is not always accurate (argue the sales man, you'll get what you want eventually). You get a lot of samples and dances and cultural experiences. The play area is moderately fun and the food variety is very useful and likable.

Superb concept.. You have areas designed for each country and inside you will see stalls pertaining to that country. It also has entertainment avenues for kids. You can also shop from any of these stalls put up there... this year it also has a stall from Ripley's Believe it or not
I had a great experience there .its life time memory .a place where we can feel the different cultures of many countries around the globe .we feel like we have reached different country while entering each countries store .each countries tradition culture and important things are beautiful displayed in each store .its is spread over acres of land we really feels exhausted after fully seeing each store but the eagerness to watch each countries prosperity makes us to move on.it is worth the visit

It is a good experience to have. The shows are pretty amazing. More of a shopping experience than expected, lots of things from different places to discover. Entry fee is very reasonable. Getting out of the parking area is a very long process at busy times though. This needs to be improved significantly.
Very good place to have some good time spent when ever it open. Please note it is not open 12 months of the year so please heck the calendar before you plan a visit there. With my experience new year eve is the best day to be there for the residents but consider the crowed and reach there well in time good time will be reaching there around 3pm to get access and parking. You get the taste of so many countries at one place so you need to get the Visa of Dubai and have experience many countries.
