Excellent place to visit but food and things there are expensive.

Better than Disney and Warner Bros. One gets to know culture, cuisine, dresses of different countries. Love it..

Great place to visit with family, nice attractions and you get to see most of the different cultures in their country's stands.

Perfect place for families, a massive selection of food , all types from all over the world, retails , rides, 5d Cinema , free parking , AED15 entrance tickets and you pay as you go

Visit this place earlier in the day as it usually gets crowded. The parking is not a problem but you ll have to park very far if arrive later than 6:00 PM.
Try the Bosnian food with their kebab which is awesome too.

One of the cheapest and awesome place you need to visit in dubai, especially during winter.
For only 15 dirham you can visit around the world with there culture,food and delicacies.
And if you are lucky you will see fireworks display and some concerts or event.

Nice Place to be Entertained for Local People as well as Tourists, it's a place where you find a themed store of every country where you can buy each country's speciality in case of shopping and food. There's also a Stunt Show and Fun Rides like Marry Go Round etc. A Must Visit, I would say,if you have 5 to 6 hours to spend.

A place where people come from around the world mostly for shopping , having great restaurants to dine and enjoyable rides, i just love the pavillion of Pakistan here, its a cosy place to shop where you get anything to buy from whole over the world, even has new yaer celebrations , dubai shoping festival and lucky draws of gold and cars almost every day.

Like the name suggest- Global Village, so was the place. A very amazing place and must visit place (atleast 4-5 times) in order to see it full and enjoy culture from different countries
Japan was my personal favorite- they had local artist playing music. Which was not less than a celebration and how humble and polite they were. Shopped from Thailand in Dubai and ate from all the countries in dubai.
Oh we also got lucky with tap dance and firecrackers.... my legs were hurting but the energy of the place, let my little explorer get a feel of all countries. I will be visitng soon again

Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) is a retail event intended to benefit retail trade in Dubai, UAE. During the Festival, shops offer special discounts. DSF added idea of making globe a village.Global Village Dubailand, Dubai, claims to be the world's largest tourism, leisure, shopping and entertainment project. It is the region's first cultural, entertainment, family and shopping destination in the world.Its like one of those "Melas" during the festival season but on a larger scale.

Pros : cheap entry fee, live performances, lively atmosphere, different country pavilions, food court, non stop entertainment, bargaining. Well connected with buses n taxi.

Cons: overcrowded on weekends, restaurant are not good(opt food court), might loose track (kids),misselling or overpriced things(as u might not know correct price as it's from diff country).

Been there thrice. Good place to go. Only if u have plenty of energy n time.

Great family entertainment. Avoid weekends for peaceful experience.

Nice place to visit world. Try different things from around the world. Parking was a bit far considering the rainy weather. But overall a great experience

This is place is so amazing. You can see many many items from alla around the world. You can try cuisines from different countries. There are live music, dance and other programs at different times in a day. You can also be adventurous and try out the different rides on offer. Also, you can try your luck by participating in fun games and win prizes.

This time the village is great and variety of all commodities from different restaurant culture under one umbrella with all international community filled with different nationality always

The African stage programme is the best in all with powerful African dance with natural drums and their way of dance stands incredibly well

The place is very easy to access and exit, but exit to Dubai or Abu Dhabi is lone and crowded and made in direction to Sharjah, with huge parking, there is no worry at all. The staff at the gate are very helpful, you can buy online your ticket. Visiting all area in the same day not possible. At least you need 2-3 days to have them visited all.
But the prices inside are enormously higher than Dubai s market, even though their quality is not that good. I ve tasted the Bosnian kebab, it s big portion is enough for 2, price is 52/-. It is nicely cooked. Try it if you found an empty table.

Its a wonder land! We can see so many traditions, programs, products and people of different countries.

Best place to spend day with family and enjoy the shows and rides for kids

There is so so much to see and experience at the Global Village.I am impressed by the area, well maintained, a lot of parking space and well organized area.There are an entrance fee just 15 Dirhams equal to 4USD.
It's a world shopping mall, you can find most of the country's products, foods, furniture and many many things.

As the name Global village it's truly Global village which is bringing global cultural under one place , huge area alloted for the global village and one day is not enough to see all the countries , need to add some more countries like Australia , Latin America and other countries. Crackers ,shops , festival , kids entertainment and restaurants . Dazzling lights effects on the water .on the entrance of the global village it is attracting more. . It's surely added value for the global village . Good for families outing and spend some rememberable time with global village .

No place can be like this...beautiful mix of cultures, food, activities. The vibe is unbeatable.

Turkish ice-cream cone is extremely expensive and not worth 20 DHS.
Rest of the all pavilions are awesome. Thai food floating market is very good and tasty spicy food.

Great place. Best food & entertainment options. public transport & texi available at the entrance. 15 AED entrance ticket very reasonable but the ticket prizes inside the games area are bit expensive : 3 kicks in VR football will cost you 35 Dirhams. Some rides are reasonable but mostly expensive in Carnival area. We went twice on Friday at 9pm firework will start.

This year, Global Village will hosted 7 biggest Fireworks shows on 31st December 2018 to ring in the New Year. Each celebration had feature massive fireworks displays that was occurred at the same time that the New Year is rung in at seven countries around the world. In addition, DJ Josh played international remixes, and all the pavilions had get together to perform on stage as part of the celebrations. You had to avail special New Year s Eve packages for only AED 249/- offering unbeatable discounts that were available in Global Village s Guest Care Center at Gate of the World entrance.

This is an interesting place in Dubai, although I feel the name is slightly misleading.

Global Village is basically a place that's been split by many of the major countries in the world. Each country has it's own section.

When you enter the Village you can see the massive entrances to each of the countries. You therefore expect that as you enter each country, the goods and products on sale will be native to that particular country.

However, this isn't really the case which is a bit disappointing.

Pretty much each country, sells the same products whereas I think they could really be differentiated by items those countries are historically known for.

What a wonderful place to experience all the different kind of cultures from all around the globe! I thoroughly enjoyed this place and it was so clean and there were so many things to see! There were so many different marketplaces and food stations! Overall, a lot of fun and very lively. Loved seeing different performances by the different countries..and haggling does work if you know Arabic! Highly recommend!!

Well its good place to just have a kind of a World Tour. Very unique experience as u get to knw abt different countries, culture, food etc. Rides and games are good as well. Very well managed and stage shows are not to be missed.

Besically it's a 60 countries exhibition centre....

Very poor service and waiters shouting and fighting each other.

Lots of food choices and amazing atmosphere

This is a big global markets where you can find many shops from all over the world. They are allocated as a small village for each country Like Uae and most of the arabic countries. Pakistan, Iran, China and India and other Asian and African countries. The prices are little high, but you can bargain with them to get a good price. There are also many music and dance shows in each village. There are also many restaurants and big garden in the middle of the village and also there is a small theme park.

Never miss this amazing festival which showcases traditions, architecture, food, culture and much more from all over the world when you're in Dubai.
Got to taste different food from many different countries in the world. Really enjoyed the stage shows and had a great time on the rides.
I went with my friends first and then with my family. This is place is a perfect spot for both!

It's only open for a few months in a year so make sure to time your visit.

Besides the great food , items and the superb architecture ; the best part of this festival is that you can visit different parts which consist of the different countries in the world.
I remember going to the Egyptian , Turkish , Indian , saudi Arabian , Pakistani , American , British and Australian court and got myself all that I could which was related to the countries listed above(there are more countries).
You can find specific food and items in each different court at various prices and you can also dine in remarkable places!
Do eat as this theme park really knows what to offer and you can buy all sorts of products and items of your choice.
You can play games and even have a ride in the fun rides here.

A must visit place when you are in UAE.. Everything is really worth the price.. The sculptures in each country they represent, the games, the rides, everything are awesome!! It is even nicer to visit at night time.. Superb!
